I visited Dean for the first time today. He’s definitely the hairdresser I’ve been searching for!!! Today I received a haircut and full highlight, my hair is a masterpiece! Seriously love it! His personality was fantastic! He truly listened and studied my hair before starting any type of processing.

Having moved to Florida in November and needing a cut before I moved I finally got the courage to try Dean after reading the rave reviews. Best haircut ever. My hair grows very slow and is really thin so I have had lots of bad cuts in my time and I was scared to death but he knew just what I wanted and how to do it, even with my thin hair. I honestly mean it was the BEST haircut I have ever had, beats my previous stylist hands down. Thanks Dean

I love my hair cuts and color. Dean does an amazing job. I sit in the chair and trust him to cut and color. Never think about being nervous about what the outcome will be. Since my cut and color 4 days ago I have had 4 people say that they love my hair color and cut. 2 of these people are hair stylists!

Dean is a very talented stylist. He is very knowledgeable about color and grey coverage. He also gives excellent cuts that give my hair a lot of body. Plus, he is super cool and interesting to talk to!

Couldn’t be happier with my cut! :) He is easy going — knows how to listen to what you want, and then offers suggestions to ensure your cut is perfect for your hair type and your personal style. Perhaps the best stylist I’ve ever been to! We just moved here from Michigan — and finding a new stylist is always a frightening challenge. Many people can cut hair — but very few know how to – Dean tops the list of those that know how. He is well worth the slightly higher fee. Dean is a talented artist! He thoroughly covered my gray while blending and brightening my overall color which accentuated my features brilliantly! Also, Dean valued my time… working efficiently, getting me in and out without rushing nor making me sit around waiting.

I went to Dean based in his reviews on Unilocal and let me say I was not disappointed. My hair looks amazing and knowing I was leaving on a cruise he came in early just to get me in on time. Very professional and he was so easy to talk to. I would recommend him 100 times over.

5 Star Stylist All the Way! Moving to a new city and finding a new stylist can be quite a scary adventure, but I was very fortunate to find My Stylist Dean. He does such an amazing job on perfecting my blonde colored hair, that I drive from two cities away just to see him every 4 to 6 weeks! Once I arrive, I get treated like royalty in his beautiful salon, being pampered while sipping a glass of wine and relaxing… Enjoying the entire experience altogether. Would highly recommend him for any services provided!

I can’t thank My Stylist Dean enough for the amazing cut and color! After a friend + scissors =‘d a hair experiment gone terribly wrong, I arrived at the Salon Lofts wishing for a brown paper bag to hide behind. Dean is amazing and he knows hairI just moved to the Tampa area and with some natural curl in my hair, I looked like I had put my finger in an electric socket. He was so helpful with giving me ideas on how to style my hair and how to reduce the damage. As soon as he looked at my hair, he instantly knew that I used elastic hair bands and explained to me how it damaged my hair. He took the extra time to get my hair exactly the way I wanted, even though it meant spending some of his Saturday evening with me. I will definitely be going back.

After moving to Florida from Illinois where I had the same stylist cut my hair for 15 years I struggled to find someone who could cut my hair like I wanted. I met Dean and let him give me a haircut. It was a great cut and was above all the rest. That was 7 years ago. I also recently finished cosmetology school myself and through my journey Dean has been a helpful addition to my learning as I have shadowed him on several occasions in his salon. His experience as a stylist and educator have proven to be beneficial to me as I have learned many things not taught to me at school. His professionalism and passion for hair shows in his work. I usually never let people touch my hair due to it being curly and most people always mess it up. But Dean did wonders on it and restored my faith in getting my hair done. Dean helped me decide what I should dye my hair to make it as natural as possible. He also told me about what brands to use on my hair since its curly. I absolutely love what he did with my hair and have gotten multiple compliments on it. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to get their hair done.

I recently moved to Tampa from California. While looking for a knowledgeable hair stylist to do a color correction on my hair, I found My Stylist Dean on Unilocal.I was a little last minute in calling him but he was able to fit me in anyway.
All the reviews about My Stylist Dean are absolutely on point. Dean is friendly, informative and really talented! No wonder brands like TIGI and Rusk work with him. He turned my brassy mess into a beautiful blonde with so much dimension and shine. He also made my hair look sleek and straight without having to use the flat iron. I can’t say enough about level of service I received at my appointment yesterday. I will definitely recommend him to all of my friends! So excited to find this GEM!

I finally found MY hairstylist after moving here three years ago and losing my former stylist on Newbury Street in Boston… I have had cuts, color, treatments at many of the supposed best, expensive salons in Tampa and surrounding areas, but none of them compare to Dean. He is a true professional, stays current with trends in his profession, and makes great suggestions. I had a keratin express treatment today, I have never done any type of keratin treatment before today and I wish I had done it sooner. I would have saved so much maintenance time on my hair! Dean’s cut really flatters the straight hair look, and believe me it is easy to spot a bad cut with straight hair:) Love it!
