Seaport Storage

I am a client who has also noticed the complete 180 this place has taken. Agree with the other comments about location, and that’s the positive. I went over to my unit yesterday after work to grab a few things. The other reviews are right. No carts to help you get up to the 6^th floor and get your items moved, and only a number to call during business hours for help. Hmmm… if I could move my things during business hours, then I would. However, I also have a job so need to go before or after work. What do you guys suggest? Mgmt needs to find a solution. Simply stating carts were being stolen is not acceptable, or fair to penalize your current clients as a result. For the rent I pay at this facility, then they could buy 10 carts a month, or a small camera to watch a check-​in/​out process. Seaport needs to figure it out, or just plan to lose clients. Overall bad experience and the cost doesn’t support the level of service I’m seeing.

Convinient storage location in Channelside. We chose for location and because they blast the AC. Sorts tricky to find and takes a while to get upstairs since they’re on the 6^th floor of Bell Channelside.
It was easy getting set up. The manager was friendly and got me in and out quickly. Rates aren’t too bad for being in the city with all day and night access.

We’ve been a customer of Seaport Storage for years. Brian was the best! He was so attentive and truly a great guy. However, he left. And the place is under new horrible management. The place has really gone down hill. There are never any dollies available when you need them. Items were stolen from someone else moving out when we were there.
Beware old members! They changed the cancellation terms of the contract with the new management (in terms of the number of days needed to notify of move out), and tried to charge us an extra month. We showed them our original contract and they still charged us! To top it off the staff said the manager would get in contact with us and has yet to return our call.
Such a shame. This place used to be great.
