Smoothie King

Smoothie King is a smoothie bar that aims at providing tasty and nutritious beverages. The menu offers smoothies to aid in muscle recovery, weight loss, and increased energy. I had plenty of experience with this location during my days at USF. The staff is knowledgeable and the customer service is top-​notch.
I really like that Smoothie King offers protein powders and other supplements to mix in your drink. This makes it a great option for a delicious AND healthy post-​workout treat! I’m not sure how much I trust the «fat burning» enhancers, but maybe they work for some people. I’ll stick with the Gladiator shakes though. There are also plenty of gluten-​free, dairy-​free, and vegan choices for those with special diets. Since there aren’t any locations closer to my house now, I don’t make it to Smoothie King very often anymore. But I do still like to stop in whenever I’m near USF!

The smoothies taste great but i prefer more basic smoothies. Fruit, ice, a little sugar is what I prefer. The employees are extremely helpful and help you decide on what you would like. A small cup is a large portion and will fill you up. A little pricey.

I prefer Tropical Smoothie cause this place adds too much extra stuff to the smoothies. Can I please just get fruit, sugar and a little juice to make it blend?! Nope not at this place. If you are one of those health nuts that likes to add supplements and enhancers to your smoothie then you will love this place. As for me … not so much.
The staff here was great though.

Quick and painless… Girls behind the counter were friendly and helpful while I decided what to order. Smoothie was perfect… just what I needed!

Love this place!!! A little pricier than some of the other local smoothie joints in the area, but delicious non the less.
I grew up with Smoothie King, so they must be doing something right!!!

Hands down my favorite of all the Smoothie King franchises in Tampa. The staff is very friendly and helpful and never seem bothered when you ask for suggestions or have questions. They have really got speed and customer service down to a science at this Smoothie King — especially during 2 for 1 «happy hour» when the place is as busy as a bar. Recommended!
