I was staying at the Renaissance nearby for the weekend. Since I was up early, I ended up having a big lunch, taking a nap around 6, and totally missing dinner! Not feeling up for a big meal, I decided to take advantage of the billions of Starbucks gift cards that I have and get a little snack. It was a mile away AND they have a drive-thru, so it was perfect! I pulled in and there was no-one there. Not sure if it was because of the time or if it’s because it’s still a new Starbucks(so no-one knows about it), but I was happy! I pulled up to the menu at the drive-thru and was immediately greeted by a VERY friendly employee. I asked her to give me a few minutes to decide what I want. After a few«hmm’s» and«uhm’s», she decided to help me out. She asked me if I was looking to get something particular, something big, something small, etc. It was really helpful, and I appreciated her personality. I ultimately decided on the iced green tea and their oatmeal. I pulled up to the window and she was still SUPER friendly! Seriously, the friendliest employee/barista I’ve EVER encountered at any coffee shop. My order was ready within a couple of minutes, and I was on my merry way. The oatmeal was nom! It would’ve been even better if I was at my own home with my own microwave to heat it up a bit more but that’s no fault of Starbucks. I asked her to «hook it up», so I got all of their toppings — dried fruit, mixed nuts, FRESH blueberries, agave, and brown sugar. I opted to not use the brown sugar(since it wouldn’t have dissolved), but the agave was perfect. It was really delicious, and I’m definitely looking forward to getting it again. The iced green tea was as good as usual. A great little Starbucks! Also, it’s next to a Chipotle, so it would be perfect if you’re looking to have dessert after a meal. PS. I managed to sneak a few peaks at the interior. It is definitely bigger than it looks from the outside. Also, the parking lot is small but decent.

The guy behind the register is nice enough. The barista making the coffee, not so much. Was not a pleasant experience. Fortunately, there are other locations. I’ll try the 5 extra minutes next time.

So i was planning on going to Barnes & Noble on Dale Mabry, until i spotted this new Starbucks right next to the new Chipotle !! Whaaaat !? How awesome is that… if i get hungry after hours of studying i could just head next door !! So the parking area made me slightly claustrophobic… thank god i am a skilled driver(yeah right !!). All kidding aside, If you came in from N Dale Mabry you get easy access to the angled parking spaces but if you come from Walnut St. you might encounter some difficulty. I don’t know how they would have enough spaces for customers of both Chipotle and Starbucks on a busy day. I love the wall decorations and the different seating options they offer(from lounging spots, long counter height table, to 2 or 4 person seating). The inside looks bigger and more comfy than it appears to be from the outside. Initially, i was bummed about not having the long(non-counter height) table available to study, but the normal height 4 person seating was perfect as well. I sat with a gentleman who was also busy working on his laptop. The noise level was good for studying or working. What really made the difference were the employees that attended me. They did not seem like they were brown nosing, but like they were genuinely trying to help me out, especially when it had to do with the Starbucks Rewards program and Stars. Overall, i would definitely return(if i am ever in the area).

New Starbucks and chipotle right around the corner from our apartment complex! I went mid afternoon so it thankfully wasn’t too much of a mad house. This Starbucks has a drive-thru which is awesome, but unfortunately it is poorly constructed. You can tell they built this establishment as quick as possible. Tatianna was so nice and friendly. It was a little bit of a wait for my drinks, understandably since they are brand new. My coffee had too much syrup in It and was a little too sweet for me. Convenient location for me so I’m sure I’ll be there a few times a week.

New Starbucks on Dale Mabry attached to Chipotle. The parking lot is ill-equipped to accommodate both places. The lot is poorly designed and if you’re coming from Walnut St, it is a challenge to park since some of the spaces are angled for traffic coming in from Dale Mabry. The interior is very capacious with high ceiling, plenty of seating(including 8 very comfortable leather chairs), as well as an outdoor patio. Nicely decorated with a large mural on the main wall and other prints. Since it’s not really in a popular area and it’s newly opened, it is quiet enough at this time to study or work. The pumpkin spice latte was all right, not a game changer even though it’s now made with real pumpkin. Doubt I would order it again, especially given the price. One star deducted for the cramped parking lot and not having any toilet paper in men’s bathroom. haha
