This is the only Starbucks is on my route to work. Therefore, I stop for coffee about twice a week.
The service is beyond slow. If you’re stopping for coffee between 8:30 — 9:00am, you can expect to wait in line for about 20 minutes. Some people say it’s quicker if you park and go inside, I personally have never found that to be true.
The parking lot is tricky! I’m not sure why they designed the drive-​thru the way they did. The entrance and exit are located in the same area, therefore, the people joining the drive-​thru line block the people from exiting the drive-​thru line, what a cluster!
The inside is very cramped. There is not a lot of space for meeting or working, however, there is a nice patio outside with several tables for days when it’s nice outside.

This is my neighborhood location and naturally out of convenience, tend to frequent it. It is typically a mixed bag in terms of service, and last night’s visit was especially unpleasant. Not sure of the hiring criteria, though an absence of former customer service experience seems to prevail. To top it off, I stopped in yesterday and was greeted by wise remarks from one of the baristas for placing a simple mobile order. Seemed to play it off as a joke, but came across rather as an insult, especially when the other workers joined in on the fun. Mind you, this was in a store full of patrons within earshot.
Management needs to overhaul their entire service approach. A customer should never leave feeling berated by the staff. Regardless of proximity, I’ll take my business to another location.

This is THE worst Starbucks in south Tampa. They are always out of coffee. Really? This is a coffee shop. They should never be out of coffee. The service is terrible. Whoever manages this one should be fired. It’s been terrible here for a very long time. Avoid.

Usually fast paced, good service. Never had a. Issue. The parking and driving conjestion is annoying. Park closer to target/​publix and just cross the street (not worth the headache of tight quarters).

I love my Starbucks! However, we have been sitting in the drive thru for 15 minutes, so I thought I would share this experience. As we approach the 20 minute mark, I am beginning to think they take our order and go pick it up at another location. As I peered in the door from my car, I can see an employee putting out inventory instead of helping the drive thru or counter… interesting.
On a lighter note, the gentleman working the drive thru is hilarious a very nice. He would be the only reason we return to this location.

Todays morning crew has it together. I come in once a month and get a bunch of treats for my customers and they are so accommodating. They make beautiful «gift bags» filled with random pastries that I get to bring in to the offices. They were super friendly and how they handled the morning crowd (and make you feel special) is appreciated.

Drive thru is slow, but inside is even slower. Parking is dicey as the cars in drive thru wrap around the building. Never seen two registers open regardless of how busy they are n the coffee is good, once you get it. Wish it wasnt so convenient…

I use to love coming to this Starbucks. Always had fast and friendly staff, who would go above and beyond most companies customer service satisfaction. However for the past few months service here had gone down hill. The last three times i was here my order was made wrong. I than had to wait another 20 min for my correct order. The drive thru is even worse. Expect to be sitting in line for a min of 30 – 45 min, just to be given the wrong order.
The only reason why I still come to this Starbucks is because of Danny! He always greats every guest by name and memories your order for you.
I’m sad to say if service doesn’t get better soon I will be going else where.

First time at this Starbucks. They had pastries in the display that were actually sold out and the guy who made our drinks made no eye contact. Didn’t say your welcome and acted like we weren’t there.

I’ve had to leave this location three times without my drink; twice because they didn’t make it correctly and once because they literally just forgot mine (I went inside). I work very early in the morning, and just don’t have time to wait for them to make it again. Thankfully there’s a Starbucks in the hospital where I work, so I just go there now, and avoid this one unless I have extra time.

Starbucks is my go-​to place to work and kill some time for really one reason: free refills on tea and coffee (for members). This location is the only Starbucks in the area, but it is definitely not my favorite in Tampa. They are always crowded, never feel like they have enough seats or tables. The outdoor area feels like it is sitting in the parking lot, and about half the time in the afternoons they seem to be out of something… sometimes more than one. They are super nice here, and the problems aren’t enough that I don’t come when I’m in the area – but if I’m heading elsewhere, I would far rather be at the Kennedy Starbucks. This one meets my caffeine needs, but it isn’t the most relaxing of locations!

The speed of this Starbucks, even though it’s PACKED, is always pretty good. The staff is quite lovely, and I’m in often enough for them to know what usually get. I am actually in during Frappaccino Happy Hour, and it’s pretty empty. My boyfriend and I like the free WiFi. It’s small inside, but their porch is really lovely. The bathroom is pretty clean. I’ve only had a couple of drinks that have missed the mark (the flat white must be difficult to make.)

When you need that fix, this is the spot.
I’m not a huge fan, mainly because it’s insanely expensive and a chain… but I do enjoy the interesting coffee recipes and the gold card membership and free rewards here and there. And the picks of the week are also great!
The baristas are mostly on top of it and friendly. I do hate, however, that I am asked if I want my coffee hot or iced. In my mind, it’s HOT unless otherwise stated. I mean, that’s how coffee was meant to be consumed. But, I digress.
This location is very convenient… the parking lot is a bit chaotic at times — because people can’t drive. The outdoor seating area is plentiful and nice to have an outdoor patio when the weather is beautiful.
Starbucks has done a fantastic job of being consistent no matter what store you are in anywhere in the world. That makes a pretty impressive statement!

Well i don’t know where to start. One thing this place is always packed! This is my first time having Starbucks… yeah it’s true why you ask well probably because i hate the smell of coffee so if it wasn’t for a gift card i would have never tried them. Like i mentioned its always packed so we walked in the service was perfect i ordered a blueberry muffin and a Apple juice it came out nice and warm and was damn good. I can honestly see why folks are crazy about this place I’m just not into all the coffee and lattes it’s just not my thing and for the record i almost died from the coffee smell while waiting for the order lol.

For goodness sake! When you have eight orders stacked up, and another eight customers waiting in line to order, please consider cutting out the chit chatting with your buddies, and focus on actually doing your job.
Employees who are off-​duty and visiting… please stop the socializing when your friends are trying to complete orders while customers are standing there waiting, and watching you all banter around.
Socializing and friendly chatter are great, but, please know when to cut it out.

I’m actually a regular here, but I just can’t give any more stars because this place is just freezing inside. The staff is very friendly, though… and even with the drive-​through backed up on weekend mornings, the service is pretty speedy.
Bring a sweater – the a/​c is cranked in here no matter where you sit inside.
What’s with the wifi? Worst connection out of all the South Tampa Starbucks locations. Don’t even bother trying to connect. Really. I will remove this comment when this gets better. :)

Depending on your time this Starbucks is great, all of the Baristas are friendly and seem to genuinely appreciate you being there. The lounge is typically filled young adults playing around on their computers. They have an outside patio, which is great year round weather permitting.
Their drink selection is self explanatory, I usually always or a grande soy latte and it does the trick every-​time. They have a great passbook application so all I need is my iphone and it tracks my rewards. Once a month or so I’l l get a $ 1.00 off a tea or single shot.
My only issue is the time, this morning I spent over 15 minute in line for my coffee. They are attempting to get orders before you get to the loud speaker but that much time is just too much everyday.
