If you want a total dive off of Bayshore, this place is where it’s at! I ended up here with some friends to watch the Lightning playoffs on a Saturday afternoon. I’m pretty sure they only serve beer(not craft) and pretty crappy food. But I like it! Total dive in a nice neighborhood. Dim lighting. Tvs without sound. It was interesting to watch the Lightning playoff game with jazz music in the background! The bar is based on veterans and this is their customer base. There is a pool table and darts. PBRs are cheap. Supposedly T Swift came in here and had a PBR so of course I ordered one! Bathrooms are pretty clean although I noticed that the food pantry is also in there, but I didn’t order food so whatevs. They have a little outdoor seating area and you can bring your dog if you’d like. Cute little 13″ tube TV out front too! If you don’t mind dark, smokey bars and a limited selection of cheap beer, give this place a try! I honestly enjoyed it :)

Why are so many Veteran places dark and smokey? I can’t help but feel that our Vets deserve better. I’m not sold on the principle of booze focused social centers to begin with, but why can’t it have nice lighting, ventilation, windows, a patio, plants and flowers, views? This is Florida. On the bright side there are darts, billiards(pool table(s)), video golf, etc. end this is definitely a Veteran friendly establishment with signage celebrating the various branches of service. Older crowd that seems to know one another when I was there. There is a rectangular bar with televisions. Smokey place. I hope people at least take a break and go for walk in the lovely surrounding area including Bayshore linear park, Ballast Point Park and Pier and the Bayshore Market. :)

Quite possibly the best chicken tenders i’ve ever had, and be sure to ask about«Terry’s Beef Jerky». Super cheap beer and the frosted mugs are a nice touch. Billiards and darts.
