It was easy to schedule a convenient appointment. The waiting area and massage rooms are sparsely but neatly arranged. The masseuse was skilled. I would have rated higher if the room was a bit darker and the music was a bit softer.

Joe @ UB is amazing. Had not had a deep tissue massage like this in such a longtime. If you’re expecting a fufu oil run down the this is not your place. Real therapeutic massages only.

This brand new facility in South Tampa is worth a look. I reviewed Emalee’s work at Emage Massage & Bodywork before and was blown away. She has joined forces with some other top notch therapists and they opened this studio just a few weeks ago. Everyone has over 10 years of professional experience. So, you know that they know what they are doing. I’m sure just about everyone has gone to those chain studios and got somebody right out of school. I feel like I am just wasting my money at those places. Emalee is very friendly, courteous and professional. She is definitely a pro.
The studio is completely renovated inside and very clean. I felt relaxed and comfortable. Emalee even let me pick out my own choice of music!
Ultimate bodywork has a membership program. It wasn’t pushed on me, but I jumped at the chance. Normally the hourly rate is $ 75 and up. You can get 60 FULL minutes at $ 59 if you sign up for their 6 month membership. You pay monthly and there is a 60 day notice with no additional fees if you want to cancel.
Tip: Parking is in the front of the building facing Henderson. The door looks like it says parking is out back, but that is actually the dance studio door.
