Walgreens

As compared to other chain drug stores, this one is okay. It’s really busy, but it’s well stocked and the lines are only sort of long. This is one of those urban Walgreens that attracts interesting entertaining characters.

This is the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. From the pharmacy to the front, the place is a complete disaster.
Every time I have been to this pharmacy there are issues. Every. Single. Time. They can’t fill the prescription because they have to call the doctors office, they can’t fill it because they don’t have the medication, they can’t fill it because the pharmacist is out on the floor (seriously). I’ve never had a worse pharmacy experience. It’s unbelievable how dysfunctional they are. Avoid at all cost.
The store itself is a dirty mess. It’s close to home so we have stopped here for quick buys. One time we needed hamburger buns and all the ones on their shelf were moldy! All of them!!! Come on!
If you have to come here, run in and run out and don’t use the pharmacy.

The staff at this Walgreens store are all so friendly. I usually need help in the photo department and everyone helps with a smile. Always «Welcome to Walgreens» and «Can I help you?» Customer service at it’s best.

Its a Walgreens like any other Walgreens. Good selection of stuff, what can you say. It does get a lot of really wierd customers though and I’m not sure the staff knows how to handle them.
This one time I was in line and a woman stood at the register and casually leafed through the sale circular. After 5 minutes and the line getting longer by the second, I finally said something like perhaps she could step away and do that and then go back to the register when she was ready. Now apparently when you say rational things to crazy people, it doesn’t go over well and she kind of freaked out.
Anyway, my point was that the employee should have handled it so that the other customers didn’t have to stand there waiting while this one woman held everything up. I’ve seen this kind of thing happen a couple times here, they should be getting good at dealing with these crazies and I swear I’m not one of them, though if I was I wouldn’t know and even if I did I doubt I would admit it so maybe I am one.

This Walgreens is fantastic. You always get greeted when you walk in and everyone is very helpful. They are always well stocked for anything you could need last min for the holidays. I love the pharmacy too. As frustrating as it is for everyone and I’m sure pharmacy employees as well to pick up meds these days with all the different restrictions, insurance policies, etc etc this walgreens pharmacy really does a great job explaining everything to you and giving you the proper information.

I like this Walgreens much better than the one I frequent. It was ultra clean and had a good selection.
I think they just had a customer service seminar. I was welcomed by each sales associate I passed, to the corner of happy and well street or whatever their motto is, almost to the point of ad nauseum. But they were all pleasant and attentive, what more can you ask for?
It was a pleasant and painless stop for essentials.
What’s a girl to do? Buy what you need and move on.

A good size Walgreens store for this location. The employees are very helpful, was asked many times if I needed help. First time in the store, not a very large assortment or variety of items. Even with the holiday seasonal items very small amounts. However, the enthusiast some of the employees and eagerness to please,. Really made a difference, and conveniently located by Publix on Bayshore. And by two major banks. I would also like to add, very good specials on some items but no the price of the things you tend to buy the most. Some items are surprisingly low in cost, othersare pretty up there when it comes to saving $. In spite of all this. I will continue to shop here. I hate to say it though, mostly when I am not able to travel further from where I live. They are open 24 hours, that is a big plus. This is not the pharmacy that I use for my meds. But, I used him due to insurance about three years ago on the East Coast of Florida. And they were very good, unfortunately. In the last six years or so, they seem to have less employees at the pharmacy and double the amount of customers. In my opinion from what it seems by appearances. Is that the pharmacy department looks rather stressed out. I hope Corp. is paying attention. Realizes that in the monopoly world that we live in, I would say… Their main source of income may be the pharmacy department. are you paying attention Corp? It is very import from my observations that employees need to be taken care of and stores, need to have the sufficient amount of personnel Vs. Ratio of clientele. I always say «The customer is your bread-​and-​butter». PLS, Keep on UnilocalING!

I HATE THIS PHARMACY.
Literally the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I only go here bc it’s on my way. But I need to stop bc they always screw up my prescriptions and give me generic without telling me and give me something different every time I refill something. I hate the pharmacy staff bc they are stupid, lazy, unfriendly and always violate hippa laws. I thought about writing a letter to corporate about the horrible pharmacy employees and practices.
Seriously think twice about coming here unless you like to constantly be inconvenienced and have your privacy rights violated. Plus the place overall is pretty bad. Terrible selection. It’s like a ghetto walgreens not in the ghetto. The worst part about going to the dr is going to this pharmacy afterwards.

This Walgreens is great, and since it’s nearby and open 24 hours, it’s straight up amazing! You never know when you’ll need to head into Walgreens for band-​aids or even just a soda to brighten your day — yes, sometimes getting a soda brightens my day.
The staff here is always very nice and helpful. They usually greet you when you walk in and are more than willing to help you out if you need any assistance with anything. The pharmacy staff is amazing and always very kind and prompt when I go in.
The location makes it a great place to stop in if you’re heading into downtown and need something at basically any hour.
