My uncle took my boyfriend and I here while we were visiting. I got the bacon omelette which was very good. The potatoes it came with were delicious as well. It is a cute diner.

Didn’t work for us. Lots of food and money wasted. We were trying to avoid eating the crap at Great Wolf Lodge but this was just a mistake. Started with a rancid glass of grapefruit juice. Chili was sweet instead of spicy, but edible. Pierogies were just mush. Several of the kids were just afraid to eat their food. The hash brown potatoes were declared disgusting(I was encouraged to try but already fell for it with the grapefruit juice, not again!) The burgers and omelets were apparently okay not great. The milkshakes were good. We felt guilty wasting all the food but just couldn’t. And PS we were starving when we walked in.

Yuk! My husband and I had breakfast here thinking it was similar to Billy’s in Bethlehem(which is very good). The only thing they had in common was the name. The hash browns tasted liked they were fried in fish oil. My Egg white omelet were from old eggs. We were lucky there were no lasting ramifications…

If you are a family visiting Great Wolf Lodge or skiing at Camelback, this is a great local option for a delicious meal. Ate dinner there with my wife and kids after a long day of skiing. Service was friendly, prompt and very considerate of a family with small kids who were a little on cranky side. They serve breakfast all day, and everything we ordered was delicious(pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage and home fries). Topped it off with a huge slice of apple pie and scoop of ice cream. Prices are very reasonable and we will eat there again when we are back for skiing. Two small details that merit five stars for a restaurant: we ordered one menu item(three pancakes and sausage) for kids to spilt. They served one pancake on a separate plates to each of my kids without us asking. Second, I ordered several a la carte items and waitress pointed out how if I bought a breakfast combo I could get same items for less money.

The fact that the waitresses are coughing like crazy in their hands and then I watched one pick up toast before serving it is absolutely disgusting! The stood over the food coughing and coughing ! Gross !

We were very disappointed with this diner experience. It has nothing in common with a real, American highway diners you usually pass driving by. We stopped in with our friends when we were driving back from a Kalahari Water Park Resort in PA last Saturday. We were staying at the water park for couple days and thought it would be a good idea to stop at a real country style diner and have a real old style American meal on our way home. Nothing more deceiving. First, they didn’t have a French Onion Soup which is a must and it’s what we always have at the diner. They said«we’re out of the french onion soup today». Why is it the menu then? So my friend’s wife ordered a cream of broccoli. It came to the table completely white(instead of being little green/greenish kind of thing if it was made from broccoli). She was very hungry so she ate it. But I didn’t hear a word of enthusiasm from her and she just showed me that it was so so when I asked her how was it. My burger was large and it was OK but I expected it to be more juicy as I underlined that I want my burger to be medium-rare while ordering. The waitress(an older lady) didn’t really react to my questions when I was asking her things. I don’t know if she didn’t hear me or was just trying to be mad and rude to us because we weren’t her regular«locals» people. I’m not sure what was her problem. I had to ask 3 times to get a straight answer. Overall — very outdated, old place with a bit high pricing($ 9 for 6 chicken wings???) Nothing is inviting since the minute you walk in. Next time we will just stop in a regular Rt 84 diner somewhere to eat.

Im always weiry and judgemental when it comes to an old school looking diner that hasn’t been updated in sometime! The diner is actually very clean. We were checking everything before we ordered, lol. The utensils were crisp clean, which includes our table and drinking glasses. The bathroom was really clean as well. Our waitress, young lady, was very nice and very accomadating. The food was delicious. Who ever was cooking actually did a good job includjng taste and plate preparation. Between the 4 of us we ordered pancakes, French toast, Italian omelates(substituted for American cheese, delicious), and over easy eggs, bacon, etc! Everything was really really good. The coffee was killer good. The waitress said it was a local coffee special blend. We each had a few cups. The price was pretty reasonable . Glad we didn’t judge Billy’s by its appearance. I guess the Lesson here is don’t judge a book by its cover. I’m keeping a star in my pocket because of the appearance issue!

Food is ok… service was super super slow took almost an hour to get our food. They apologize for the slow service and said it was just really busy that morning, however we watched others come in after us got their food and left before us and we were still waiting. My friend and i ordered hot choclate and the mug was so small i only took 3 small sips and it was finished… the mug was probably only 5oz. I asked for no whip cream so the mug was not even filled to the top.

We had gone out to see the fall foliage and stopped here for a quick bite. The ice tea tasted like it was filtered through a Marlboro cigarette(which they took back and didn’t charge us) however the rest of the meal proved not so hot. Pancakes were very heavy, the sausage was a bit tough, the porgies were home made but were lacking in taste. The prices were very fair but if they stepped up a bit more they would have a heck of a restaurant but they need to do that to insure they’ll be around for a few decades

Good food stopped for an early breakfast. It’s close to home. Had been heater years ago. Waitress was great. She did everything with a smile including giving me my check and doing the cash register. Basic diner food… It’s hard to screw up eggs pancakes and juice.

Went here for the first time for breakfast yesterday. Nice little, rustic spot. Clean and very friendly service. Has a scenic brook that runs behind the parking lot. Breakfast and coffee were both very good. We will go again!!!

Horrible service. Waitress was friendly but didn’t know how to do much and didn’t check on us at all. Credit card machine was broken and had to drive around town looking for an ATM. Food was good but definitely overpriced. Owner was mean and useless with the money issue. We were completely unsatisfied. Never going back and definitely do NOT reccomend this place!!!

This place is AWESOME! We came back twice. The pierogies are outta this world. Don’t even bother getting it as a side dish. Just get the whole dinner with the homemade soup, a side(we recommend the Mac and cheese which is incredible!!!) back to the pierogies, they’re covered in bits of bacon and sautéed onions. OMG! Had the sausage egg and cheese sandwich(yum!) and bacon egg and cheese sandwich, also every omelet was amazing! You must make this one of your stops along the way. Very close to outlet mall! And our waitress remembered us from the day before and remembered what we ordered. We’re going to stop again on our next vacay!

Dining Date February 7, 2015 for lunch. Great little diner on Rt. 611 in Tannersville. The sub sandwiches are enormous! All the food was good, the service was excellent, and the prices are a good value. Great place to stop in for lunch. Exactly what you want when you pull into the parking lot of a diner.

My friends and I came here after our snowboarding trip at Camelback Resorts. The ambience was great, and we were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. An older woman with a great sense if humor took our orders. I had the chocolate milkshake with the fried chicken meal and stuffed mushrooms. The mushrooms were okay and the fried chicken was very crispy and moist. The only flaw was that the wing was the size of a half dollar coin lol. Our order came with a free basket of bread rolls. We later had dessert and it was nice of our waitress to be honest and tell us that their apple pies weren’t homemade. I would come back to this diner whenever I’m skiing in the area.
