Sage Waters Massage & Spa

I had a wonderful experience here and Lee is a fantastic masseuse! I called on a Monday afternoon when I got into town to see if she could possibly get me in on that Wednesday as I had read her reviews on here as well as on other sites and all the reviews were great! Lee was quick to call me back and got me scheduled for an hour and a half. I originally had not requested hot rocks as I have had these done in the past at other places and was never impressed. Lee assured me that was because I had never had hot rocks the way she does it so I agreed to adding hot rocks. I did the hot rocks massage with the foot reflexology and treatment.
Lee emailed me very detailed directions to the location and I found it easily. From the moment I walked in till I walked out (very relaxed and happy) I had a great experience. She definitely has changed my mind about hot rocks and they were great! I loved that she uses hot rocks, tuning forks and a variety of other things to create a very wonderful, relaxing and great experience. Lee is VERY reasonably priced too and I feel like I more than got my money’s worth. Sadly I don’t live in Taos so I don’t know if I will ever get to have a massage this awesome again, but you can bet if I am ever in Taos again I will for sure be booking an appointment with Lee.

My boyfriend and I had an hour long couple’s massage done by Lee and her assistant and were very pleased! Lee has got magic hands and with every touch you can feel years of experience in her fingers. It was an exceptionally multi-​sensory session since it incorporated so many elements — there were hot river stones, vibrating tuning forks, lavender oils, and not to mention an infrared massage table. One thing I have to stress is her excellent customer service — she threw in the complimentary hot stones knowing it was my birthday! She also gave very detailed instructions on the location via e-​mail, as it can be tricky to find.
The only thing I would recommend before arriving is to really give some thought as to what you’d like to get out of the massage, specifically any preferences or what areas you would like to be focused on, so that when they ask you prior to the massage, you’ll know exactly what you want. In hindsight, I may have preferred deeper pressure, but I didn’t give this any thought prior to my session, and also felt a bit reluctant to interrupt what she was doing during the session, so it’s good to have these things in mind beforehand. Also be ready to pay cash or check — she tries to avoid card transaction fees when possible. Compared to the nearby competitors, however, Sage Water’s prices are very affordable, especially for the quality of services you receive.
Altogether I would definitely recommend this business and would come back again if given the chance!

I enjoyed a very relaxing massage during my trip to Taos, New Mexico. My flight was canceled and I couldn’t get out of Santa Fe for three days! I am so glad I found Lee, who is an outstanding massage therapist. She is very calm and welcoming and I enjoyed my conversation with her and learning about living in Taos. She is outstanding (not to mention her pricing) and I highly recommend her if you visit the great little town of Taos.

Best massage ever. This is a must if you come or live in Taos. Had a couples massage and my husband is already asking when we’re going back. Would definitely recommend! !!!

Last week I enjoyed an incredible hot stone massage and treatment from Lee Hester at Sage Waters. The treatment space was softly lit and very quiet, and the massage was seamless and blissful. Lee moved the hot stones expertly, from my back to my feet to my hands to my abdomen, and the effect was hypnotic. She coaxed my back and shoulder muscles into relaxing while my feet were warmed by the stones and lightly wrapped in warm towels. Then the process was reversed, with hot stones nestled against my neck and upper back while Lee attended to my feet and legs. I gave up trying to «pay attention» and surrendered to an altered state! Treat yourself or a loved one to Lee’s expert and very professional skilled healing work!

The most relaxing 1 ½ of my life. This is the best massage that I have ever experienced. I would recommend the hot stone massage with reflexology and the facial. AMAZING! PS from her parent who’s had many massages; it was life changing!

You will get a fantastic massage here! My wife and I got a couples massage, and we left so relaxed we were almost in a daze! Fantastic deep tissue massage and the reflexology was incredibly relaxing! Everytime I come back to Taos, I will be getting a massage here! Fantastic!

Quite Possibly the Best Massage in Taos. Lee Hester of Taos Sage Waters Massage, Spa and Healing Therapies offers a wonderful, peaceful, healing place with excellent massage, spa and vibrational healing treatments available. I thoroughly enjoyed my Taos Mountain Magic package that included hot stone massage and a facial. I plan to try out many of their options as time goes on. It’s so affordable and luxurious and my stress just drops away. Next up for me is Reiki and a foot massage. If you want to pamper yourself in a serene nurturing atmosphere, I highly recommend Taos Sage Waters and Lee Hester. Their location changed in April, 2015, so call for directions.
