Loved this fun little spot in Taos! Very quirky but great. Service was more than welcoming and the gentleman working quickly made suggestions for vegan food choices. Lots of little nooks for privacy, a computer lounge if you don’t have your laptop and artists’ consignment is offered. If we lived in Taos this would be my go– to coffee/deli spot!

Coolest coffee shop ever, I feel so comfortable, cozy and at ease here. Delicious white cheddar black bean and green chili burritos. Love buying ground Taos and Santa Fe coffees here and enjoy a hot cup of Piñon blend coffee with almond milk. Free wifi and dog friendly on the terrace. Also attached to a lovely book exchange!

A great little stop that feels like a welcoming community. They best part of this place is all of the pseudo private areas that allow you to sit and relax without the hubbub of a coffee shop. We were able to relax with our dogs in the garden without them being so busy meeting all of the other customers. The staff are friendly and of course the coffee is good. They also have sandwiches and other treats to keep you hanging out. This is a great little stop on your way through town or if you are staying a while. You will not be disappointed!

This was a nice place to enjoy our breakfast this morning. Yes the drinks are a little more expensive but not too bad. We enjoyed our drinks and food and would plan to return again sometime. Wish there was a place like this near Chicago. Would recommend!

Very beautiful location with a super relaxing hostel-type atmosphere. Lots of cool used books for dirt cheap to look through. I ordered a strawberry/banana/mango smoothie which was excellent! It was my first time there, and if I lived in the area, I could see how I could easily spend hours there reading, studying, or just screwing around on my laptop. They’ve got lots of outlets conveniently placed for that reason. My only critique would be how quickly they ran out of burritos — we arrived there at 11am and they were already all out of both the breakfast and regular burritos for the entire day. The barista explained that they outsourced these, so it’s pretty much first come first serve. However, she did a great job at quickly suggesting other options for me, which was nice.

I used to eat here a lot. They have nice, simple dishes that I generally like. One worker has been very rude, though: he ridiculed me for getting a small drink. That stopped me from going as often. Months later, I came by again. The same guy took my order, and told me my Italian Soda was«basically a bunch of sugar.» I have shown all the workers here nothing but kindness. This guy clearly thinks it’s ok for a food service worker to decide who comes by his boss’ restaurant. We won’t be going here again. Update: the guy’s name is Wyeth, blond hair and glasses. I complained to another worker. Wyeth was nervous, and tried to lie his way out. The other worker suggested I stay away. Obviously so his friend can keep working there. I haven’t only because I’m afraid of having my food spit on. For the owner, he just lost my business.

This place is awesome! I work remote and visited Taos for the week. This place were perfect to work from, I wish I could take it home with me. Low Boise levels and areas to sit with a bit of privacy for when I needed to make phone calls. Food was surprisingly excellent.

My favorite café in the USA! The interior is like a rustic Japanese Zen garden! There is an indoor Koi Stream running through one of the rooms and Buddhist statues throughout the café. It’s really such a wonderful place to spend an entire day. They offer a computer with a printer if you need it, and apparently you can rent their office space for group meetings. They have really good breakfast burritos too btw!

Excellent local place, looks like a remodeled home that is inviting place to come for a cup of good coffee and relaxing place to read. They offer a variety of books to amuse yourself, which was fun as I drank a smoothie. Provides maps, dining pamphlets, and visitor guides for Taos. Just a nice place to spend some time if you want an eclectic homegrown café. Free wireless as well!

Gardens and environment make up for lack of lose leaf chai options. They’ve got loose leaf teas, breakfast goodies and so so baked goods but nothing to blow your mind. I’m guessing the clearly defined working environment of patrons here and the amount of laptops shows this as THECAFEFORLOCALS as it is out of the tourist fray. Downside of that«out of fray» is cigarettes waft about beyond your imagination and because so much of the café is outdoor gardens there is nothing stopping your morning caffeine meditation from the smell of nicotine. They should quarantine the smokers like other establishments have fine for years and like they do the working areas from children. My séance is they’d have to shut the doors if them did as a lot if the smoking going on here is by those who frequent the café…

Just okay coffee… stopped because it got top ratings but we were both disappointed. My iced americano was more like tea and hubby’s latte was also weak… Keep driving.

Drinks are inconsistent when they should be made the same way by all the Baristas. Baristas are not personable and borderline rude. My daughter and I went there a few times and we were treated badly. Could it be because of the color of our skin? I wonder if the staff thought we were Taosenos. They need to provide the same level of service to everyone especially the locals. How difficult is it to smile! On one occasion we noted that one of the workers was smoking a joint. Sorry unacceptable! I advised my daughter to go to Java Hut for her coffee fix. I loved the ambiance, the convenience of the internet, but the staff needs intense training on customer service. Will not go back!

We were looking for a place with great espresso and a nice atmosphere. This is a mellow retreat with tables and chairs all over. They have a lovely outdoor garden area. Inside is cabinesque with old wood floors. Reminds me of our family cabin. Reasonably priced drinks.

Asked a local where the best place was to drink some good coffee and work on my pc. She said Wired. This place is great, not a regular little coffee place, 4 – 5 large rooms, 2 – 3 patio areas. And the staff working were really attentive and friendly. Carrot cake was great as was the coffee frosty.

Coffee was amazing and the atmosphere was funky without being junky. Super sweet barista(blonde guy with a red beard) that was obviously having a blast at his job, which usually translates to a better food/beverage in my experience. Will def be back on my next trip to Taos!!!

Was happy to find paradise. We needed Internet access and I was hoping to get away from tourists. I have lived in Brooklyn for 10 years and this is the kind of wireless café I have been searching for. Quiet areas, garden(two!), lots of places to charge up, cute shop, did I say quiet? Yummy teas.

Good looking attentive staff, great coffee and free Internet… What’s there not to like? Flowing water and tranquil outside areas to sip your drink… GOHERE!

I really want to like this place but they need to improve the consistency with making drinks. Staff training could be their downfall. Stick with hot drinks and you’ll do alright.

Wired is one of the best cyber-lounges I’ve found in all the world. Relative to New Mexico, it’s number one. Wired serves the best coffee in the city, a good cup o’ Yerba Mate, and offers great to recharge while working. The wireless signal here is the strongest and most stable in all of Santa Fe and Taos, and with outlets everywhere. There are gardens to sit in, patios with signs requesting the areas be quiet and many other comfy places to sit yourself down. Then there’s Cosmo. Cosmo is the cat that runs the place. Cosmo is also the reason why dogs must remain outside on a leash. While there may be seating enough for a hundred… maybe more… there’s only enough room for one Cosmo. Highest marks go to coffee, comfort and WiFi. Middle-high points go to Yerba Mate, wraps(both pesto & chipotle), the gardens, architecture and service. Music may be the only middle-point, as it can be all across the board genre-wise and with seemingly random changes in volume. It’s best to bring headphones. The one low, low point is the limitations on hours, as almost nothing in Taos is open late. Wired is no exception. WiFi: Free /w Purchase Hours: M-F, 7a-7p; Weekend, 7a-6p URL:
