You won’t find an actual Starbucks in Taos but you will find this very small coffee shop on the Taos Plaza that uses Starbucks coffee. My mom chose a hot chocolate and pronounced it good. I just had an Italian soda and it was okay. Free wifi and power outlets near the three tables inside.

Great little place on the Taos Plaza and the only place I’ve found that serves Starbucks coffee. They have some local treats too. I won’t say the coffee is all that great, but it’s about the location.

Completed a recent check-in and was wrong on a response. They do accept credit cards however their card processing machine was not working at that moment. Sorry guys for the mislead.

Nice little coffee shop with seating. Good place to grab a latte, tea and read for a bit. Not as crowded as world cup.

Noula’s Coffee Shop is located inside the historic Hotel La Fonda right on the historic Plaza in historic Taos, New Mexico. There is nothing historic about the coffee. It was fresh, made to order. I had an Americano that was just fine. The setting inside the historic Hotel La Fonda is charming, as is the setting of the Hotel La Fonda on the historic Plaza in historic Taos, New Mexico. Have I worked the historical angle enough yet? Noula’s Coffee Shop uses Starbucks coffee which is historic in it’s own way I suppose. Historic in the monocultural corporatocracy that his become much of the United States and indeed the western world. I would think that a coffee shop in a historic hotel in a historic town with a reputation of independent thinking would represent with something a bit more unique and reflecting the indigenous character of the area. Perhaps New Mexico Piñón Coffee, roasted right down the road in Albuquerque?
