This place is a complete dump. The lock on the back secured door was broken. I walked into my room to find trash on the floor. There were holes in the bed spreads. It was old and hasn’t been updated in decades. The kind of place that you sleep on top of the sheets and hope that there’s no bugs. There were cars that pulled up in the middle of the night, music blaring, made abrupt visits to the downstairs rooms and then left quickly. Fighting in the adjoining rooms. You get the picture. Awful.

Two stories, lower level is exterior entrances and upper floor is interior entrances. Friendly desk clerk quickly checked me in on a Friday night. My room included a king sized bed, hdtv, microfridge, and love seat. A/C worked well, comfortable bed, string wifi signal. Room furnishings are beginning to show wear. Quiet surroundings. Nice choice for economy lodging.

The Days Inn in Tappahannock exceeded our expectations. Cheaper than any of the other chain hotels in Tappahannock/Warsaw, we weren’t sure what to expect. We also read some pretty bad reviews from a year or two ago, but it appears to be under new management and has improved immensely. We had a great experience — very clean, friendly, and had all the basic amenities we would expect. Definitely recommend it for budget-conscious travelers!
