Stayed there for five nights in the upstairs suite in the main house. Perfect location – a few blocks away from the sponge docks and the historic downtown shopping area. Inn is clean and comfortable, and full breakfest is excellent. Very comfortable bed – beautifully decorated large room. Tarpon is a wonderful destination for those who enjoy«Old Florida» and want to ditch the car for a few days and get in some walking or bike riding. Looking forward to our next stayover.

This is without a doubt the best location in Tarpon Springs and the Sponge Docks. The house is super cozy and the inn keeper Barbara was absolutely fantastic. The Inn is clean and comfortable with great beds linens and spacious rooms. The morning breakfast was better than any hotel I have stayed in. Real food, real fresh and in quantity. Less than one mile from the Sponge Docks and just a block from the Pinellas Trail! Enjoy we did and a return trip is inevitable.

Stayed here this past weekend with my boyfriend for our anniversary. We stayed in the mother in law suite out back which was great. We had our own kitchen and bathroom along with a «living room» with a flat screen and couch. Our bed was very comfy and in case we got in a fight there was a twin off to the side for him to sleep on. But we didn’t ;). We also had a private patio area and in the back there was the garden with beautiful flowers and herbs and a BBQ Grill available at our disposal. It was nice to have our own building that way we didn’t have to worry about being super quiet. The breakfast in the morning was great on both days. Our lovely inn keeper made french toast and quiche with bacon and potatoes and fresh strawberries. Oh and pure organic maple syrup! My fave! She also gave us advice on hot spots in the area which was nice because we were right in the center of all the hot spots. 10min walking distance to the sponge docks where all the amazing Greek restaurants are and in the other direction is downtown that is full of amazing antique shops and places to eat. We also got to go to the farmers market on Sunday morning in the middle of downtown. Great place to stay, I highly recommend it!

Named for the Innkeepers Daughter;Ashely’s is located right next to City Hall in walking distance(for some) from the Sponge Docks and Greek Center of Tarpon Springs. Most of the rated Greek Restaurants are minutes away. The Inn itself is a renovated old Victorian home full of antiques with an antique shop located in the rear courtyard. The upstairs has 2 rooms and a shared bath. One room with a king bed and a second with 2 queen beds and a lounge. Elegant paddle fans moved the cool December air through the room and quilts on the beds acted as comforters in the evenings. You most likely will be greeted at the back door some time during your stay by «Blackey» the friendly resident outdoor cat. The inn is located near a section of older homes in the area but is oriented around a private the courtyard behind the home from which you enter. The breakfast was most appetizing each day with the homemade greek quiche being the best meal we found in our attempt to experience greek cuisine in Tarpon Springs during our entire stay. Tarpon Springs has a large and very strong Greek community that brings many Europeans to vacation in the area. There are several State parks within in a 15 to 20 minute drive of the inn and a ranked beach that must be accessed by Ferry leaving from Honeymoon State Park. Honeymoon State Park however offers access to the Gulf Waters for swimming, sunbathing and viewing the sunsets of the west coast of Florida. The sponge divers still go out from the docks and one can ride out to watch the divers at work. If you speak Greek it is for certain you will improve the quality of your visit in the Greek village. Ashley’s will not rate as the most authentic renovation you can find or the most elegant inn but you will leave saying«its just plain comfortable» thanks to its Inn Keeper who is very hospitable and not Greek but rather part native American from Kentucky.
