Stopped in here on my vacation to grab a couple things — great store and great prices! However… that’s when it got interesting. I realized when checking out that I didn’t have my car key to the rental car. I dumped out my purse, retraced my steps in the store, looked in the parking lot… nothing. Called the rental car company and they were sending a lock smith in hopes I had dropped the key in the car when I got out. While I was waiting, a gentleman that worked at the store stated helping me look — even went back thru their camera footage to see if he could tell where I dropped it! After a few minutes — he found it on the floor right in front of the register! I must’ve dropped it while paying. I was able to cancel the lock smith and save myself some $! Thank you thank you thank you for going above and beyond today!!!

Best prices in town. Love that they will match and compare to any other place in the area. My one stop shop =] Every staff member I’ve encountered has been very friendly and helpful. I don’t enjoy intimidating liquor store staff, and haven’t found any here yet. Longer hours than most places in week nights. Well-lit parking lot makes for easier night time visits. HUMONGOUSVARIETY!!! Wine, craft beer, every liquor, and anything else you can think of!!! Enjoy =]

A liquor store that opens at 8am? Seriously. How can you not like that? As others said, this place is rather large, almost like a baby Total Wine. Price is very competitive too. Their beer selection is quite extensive. Definitely the best selection of craft beers around. While I am slightly disappointed not to see a bigger selection of local brews — I was hoping to score something from Cigar City or other Tampa area breweries that is hard to find in Miami — I am impressed with their imports that they have stuff like Mikkeller from Denmark, various trappist ales from Belgium, Nøgne Ø from Norway, Brasserie des Franches-Montagnes from Switzerland, 8 wired from New Zealand, just to name a few… Definitely not your average liquor store. We want to pick up some wine, but to our surprise they do not offer case discount. Most other places we shop will offer 10% off if not for 6 bottles, at least for a case. We ended up buying the wine elsewhere, as the saving is substantial. Staff is friendly at the register, and when I called before visit to ask about a bottle — the guy knew immediately what I want, no putting on hold or transferring through several employees.

Love it, love it, love it! We’ve been to other Lukens locations and they always have a good selection of what we’re looking for. Tonight we went for a Bourbon tasting and had a great time. Payed $ 10 and sampled plenty of Maker’s, Knob Creek, Bookers and others. The distributors gave out garb and were friendly to chat with. It was catered by Delectable’s Fine Catering which was a treat. We will definitely be loyal to Lukens.

Marchelle, they appear to have took your suggestions of acknowledging their customers seriously. I was in there this evening and was greeted at the door and a second time as I grabbed a cart to wheel around, the hand carts are really cool btw, on wheels, and have a handle that pulls up like luggage does. The selection is amazing, and the layout even better. As I was looking for some barcardi rum, a younger guy employee, sorry didn’t catch his name, asked if I’d ever tried coconut water rum and convinced me to try it. I’m at home now trying it and glad he up-sold me :) They even have Sloonshine, moonshine from the Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis, SD! Prices are reasonable, I was really impressed and will go back again, thinking this will become my local home liquor store! Just moved here from Mn a month ago so finding a gem like this fairly close to my house is a bonus :)

I was excited to check out this new place. I’d cut out the Sunday paper coupon to use, then grabbed another purse before leaving. I pulled up the coupon on my phone upon checking out. No go. This may be something to be improved upon. Also, there were two staff checking people out and no one appeared to be on the floor for customer assistance. The selection seems good to great. But, more staffing to increase customer service would improve things here.

Walked in with only one thing on my mind today, GETTHEFINALCHRISTMASPRESENT! And that’s what I did. I walked into the Whisky isle and was confronted with far too many choices. Lucky for me, Chris was there. He’s their Spirits Manager(As well as Store manager). He was more than happy to help me out and give me a few suggestions as to options and choices, showing me a few different varieties of whisky that my recipient might enjoy. I was –sold-. I took a few minutes to get acquainted with the store, found the Cider section and was happy to see just how large a selection they have. I’m not limited to Redd’s and Angry orchard any more! While at the check out, I noticed a Cordovan Leather case, the price was $ 459.99, I asked about it. Apparently it was Patron Tequilla. I was aghast. The clerk chuckled, apparently they had sold an 80+ year old bottle of brandy yesterday that was $ 2500. WOW! Needless to say, the selection is HUGE, The people are great! They’re friendly and experienced. It’s great to have them in town.

The general manager asked me to revise my husbands review. Well now here is what i think. After speaking with the manager Chris on Saturday concerning my receipt, He told me to come in and he would take a look at it. After work yesterday i stopped in a showed him the receipt. He apologized, we talked gave me the refund and s fifteen dollar gift card. And I say thank you for that. But here is what I notice when I would walk in. And this is from the day they opened. When you walk in you don’t get said hello to, asked if you need any help when your walking around looking like your lost. I have been in there twice so far and both times i wasn’t told hi or asked if i needed help. In a business where you are dealing with the public you need to acknowledge your customers. Don’t let come to you and ask for help witch i noticed yesterday when i was there. There were three people standing up front when i walked in. And not one of the said can i help you. You should never let customers come to you asking for help. This is the only thing that really needs to be changed in a big way in my book. Because when i go into a place i like to be acknowledged too. But i don’t always need the help. Just change this and you should be ok with future customers. This is all i have. I can’t do any better that this.

This place is huge! Today is their first day open and the shelves were still being stocked as I walked around. I went mainly to check out their beer selection and was not disappointed. At all! They have an incredibly diverse selection. All your favorite local and national craft beers are represented. Although I’d like to see some Funky Buddha and Southern Tier. They have every other hard liquor you can imagine. This will be a go to for me as I live 2 miles away. The grand opening will be sometime in November and I was told they will have wine and beer tastings!
