I was very surprised to read the number of negative reviews here? Then I noticed most were about «wine orders?»
My review is based solely on stopping in and looking for a new and interesting wine/​beer/​spirit to try…
Not a chain, Mom and Pop owned, this joint has been around for as long as I can remember.
They have a very extensive selection, and I often find things here I cannot find elsewhere! Yes, prices can be slightly more than a chain store. I have never had bad service here.
One of my favorite retro cocktails requires ginger brandy. This joint is one of the only two places I can find it locally.
Same goes for real orgeat syrup, the only way to make a genuine Mai Tai at home.
Finally… B-​21 !?! That has to be the BEST name in which to sell alcohol in the history of mankind!
(Except for that old Caveman store they called «FALL-​DOWN WATER»)

Beer prices are consistently higher than Lueken in Clearwater. Same product but $ 1-​$ 2 higher every time. I mentioned it to the guy at checkout but he just shrugged it off. No problem. I don’t like the service, I don’t like the prices, why would I come back here? I’m done with B-​21.

I purchased a case of wine to be shipped across the country. It was mid summer and wine was not to be shipped until late fall but they shipped it anyway. It showed up with many bottles leaking. They did have the case returned at there cost and I thought this is not working out so I cancelled order and was charged a 10% cancelation fee. Why, it was not re-​shipped. I inquired and some how I received there inter office e-​mails that were not meant for my eyes and they spoke very de-​meaning about me and belittled me not knowing me at all. If this is how they speak about there customers behind closed doors I don’t want any part of it–

I ordered wine and then decided I didn’t want it. The wine was NOT shipped and they still charged me a restocking fee even thought the wine was NOT shipped. Buyer Beware, terrible customer service. How can you charge a restocking fee for something you never shipped?

I love this place. I have been shopping here for wine and spirits for years. The staff is always helpful and friendly.
They also have a great selection of wines… from the commonly found/​reasonably priced to the rare and pricey. Their prices and selection are great.

I think this place is great. We made the trip out to Tarpon Springs to check out their rare-​ish wine collection. They have a decent selection of French and Italian wines. They don’t keep their whole selection on the shelves, so if you’re looking for something from their website that’s not in the main room, someone will go and look in the back for you. And what they couldn’t find, they were able to order for us, so we’ll either return to pick them up or use their very convenient delivery service.
We got a ton of great deals. Also, if you buy a whole case of wine (mix and match), you get a 10% discount. Sweet!
I wish this place was closer to Tampa.

B-​21 continue to disappoint in their customer service and communications. They send out emails about their product specials, then don’t have them in house. In my most recent dealing I purchased wine but held for pickup. I don’t want the wine ruined with heat, so wait until I can pick up. Just found that I can’t pick up after 3:30 pm.
I will reconsider buying from them in the future.

Great selection of wine but on my 2 recent pick-​ups the manager was quite rude. The young man certainly has an attitude that is not becoming of someone working in a retail environment. In fact the last trip I entered 20 minutes before close — yes my fault and after I picked up the wine ordered at their side door I put in cart and went to purchase other items. The young man followed me and asked «are you going to purchase anything as we are closing soon». I said, fine, goodnight. Went to Lukens up the street and spent another $ 125.

We lived in Pasco County, FL for about a year, and frequented B-​21 in order to satisfy our wine cravings. They are willing to accept orders for wine that they don’t have in stock, and do not charge extra. Actually, the more wine we bought, the more of a discount we received. At least it seemed that way. It was about 20 mins. away from our house, and well worth the trip. They also carry many different kinds of scotch and whiskey that are not normally found elsewhere.

Very surprised that this business has been around this long. I ordered 1 bottle of wine on Sunday ²⁄₁. Website says if ordered by ²⁄₂ delivery would be ²⁄₃. I was entertaining the evening of ²⁄₃ and needed this wine. Only reason I ordered was the next day delivery. I emailed Justin Hammer, director of operations, on the morning of ²⁄₃ confirming delivery. I was informed that the wine did not go out as planned. OK, I can deal with that. The thing that pissed me off was no apology was offered. He immediately offered to cancel the order. I know, it seems minuscule, However, being in customer retention myself, I would have handled this situation much more differently in an attempt to satisfy the customer. I emailed Justin back stating that the ground shipping charges should be refunded. If not cancel the order. I order wine from all over the country. When shipping deadlines are not met due to the error on the part of the shipper, an apology is always given. That’s all I ask for. Justin, hopefully you will learn a lesson.

B-​21 is awesome to go and buy wine. I love sweet wines and Moscato wines are my very fave. their prices are great and so is the service you receive. We have gone to Luekens Liquors and noticed their service sucks and their prices are not as good. I would stay away from them. Their nasty people. I will continue to purchase all of my wines from B-​21.

This is a great store with a vast selection of wine and liquor. I especially love their Saturday wine tastings as they have taught me a lot about wine. The blonde woman that pours wine for Oyster Bay is wonderful. She is very knowledgable and personable. Her love for wine is infectious. I don’t know if she works for the store or is an Oyster Bay employee but she deserves some recognition. The rest of the staff is good, however, she is the best!

A fabulous store with an extensive selection of wine and liquors. The staff is very knowledgeable. There are always great deals to be found here. They deliver for regular customers. They educate and hold events. I think this is one of the best wine or liquor stores I have ever shopped at.

This is the most comprehensive collection of wines and single malt scotch in Central Florida. Great customer service. A few tips:
They deliver to the Orlando and other more distant areas once every two weeks.
Their quarterly (or so) tasting events are a great deal. For $ 25 you can sample close to 100 wines including some very pricey ones, and attend a sit down seminar. The annual Burgundy event is my favorite.
On the 21^st of each month they have free shipping to anywhere if you buy a mixed case.

Good selection… good prices… place has been there for a like a 1,000 years… they sell alcohol… nuff said…

So what incites a just North of Kennedy Lass to make the trek to Tarpon Springs? (Well yes, Gyros, but that’s another Unilocal altogether.) The answer would be an empty wine fridge, a few weeks living bottle-​to-​bottle and a few too many Total Wine trips featuring big-​name, boring, $ 15 everyday bottles. I may be confined to my libation budget but always dream the decantable bottle dream (perhaps, on someone else’s AMEX, any givers?). This place has many labels that are «highly rated» as well as some undercover future favorites. B-​21 also maintains a noteworthy selection of Spirits and varied tastings throughout the year.
(Tip-​worthy: B-​21 offers free delivery for cases of 12 on the 21^st of every month if you are not a Wine-​Trekkie such as myself.)

I miss this place! I lived 1 mile away until I moved out of state. It’s truly a warehouse of wine, beer, liquor and supplies. The wine staff is extremely knowledgable. Cashiers are quick. Bottles packed well. Organized. Clean. Huge selection. Always great sales.

Good collections of French wine and price are slightly cheaper than Total Wine. Although the way they arrange the product regions are confusing, plus the staffs run that section doesn’t seems willing to help.
If you are not very knowledgeable on wine, it is better to shop at Total Wine where you can find helpful shop assistant to guide you.
However, if you are serious about good French wine, B-​21 is a thumb up.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had with an online wine store. I ordered 2009 Bordeaux futures from them and after confirming my order, they emailed me back and said they only had the wine available at 10% more. Excuse me? You confirm my order and then come back and ask for more money after you sell out and the wine is not available at that price anywhere else? Shady. Also, unresponsive. I will never order wine from them again.
