Found a good deal on and are glad we did. This place was awesome! Not being familiar with the Quality Inn line and having just come from a Motel 6 my expectations were not high especially for the price. I believe I paid in the $ 80 range per night! The motel is centrally located along route 19 — a very busy route lined with retailers and chain restaurants. It was a godsend to have so many dining choices close by even if getting to them did mean a drive up a ways to a turning line to make a u-ie and back up again. Cody’s down the street was by far our favorite and I would recommend it. The hotel itself looked pretty standard on the outside, Plenty of parking and a large loading area. Inside the lobby was expansive — nicely decorated, clean, and had plenty of seating areas to congregate. Hotel staff was courteous and maid service decent but not exceptional. Our room was of current décor with the exception of the bathroom which appeared to be 80-ish but still clean and comfortable but a little on the small side. A hair dryer was supplied, as well as free wifi although it was hit or miss logging on. We had a private balcony, and although we didn’t have the pretty pool views that most of the hotel has we were happy with our accommodations right off the lobby entrance. There is also a computer for public use, as well as a fitness room. Unfortunately our toilet clogged the last day of our visit and there wasn’t a plunger in sight, but my husband is pretty handy with a wire hanger. The pool area was like a private paradise. Lush, clean, and spacious. Lounge chairs with padded seats were present, as were tables with umbrellas. There was a huge Jacuzzi as well as a cabana which I enjoyed nearly every day. On the downside I found the pool towel stock to be empty every day. Breakfast was included and was the basic help yourself. A few hot dishes(nothing special) but plenty of choices and most appreciated. While Tarpon Springs and the sponge docks are a quick 10 minute drive away I very much liked this area and found it more convenient to stay here than in the springs for the convenience of having so many retailers nearby. Highly recommended!

I’ll start with the one thing that wasn’t good: the hot tub was broken. That’s it. Aside from that, I have no complaints about this place. It’s clean and quiet and the lobby and pool area is beautiful. The room and bathroom were also super clean. The morning breakfast was quick and easy and they offer a variety of items such as eggs and sausage and a waffle maker. They also had fresh fruit. All in all, this hotel is worth more than the $ 76 a night we paid.

the hotel lobby had a horrible, overpowering chemical(cleaning products?) smell when i arrived. i fought sneezing each time i passed there initially. however, it seemed to dissipate with time so it did not spoil my stay. like most hotels in this class, they use styrofoam plates and bowls for the continental breakfast: if the hot food is the proper temperature, it melts the plate and the food ends up contaminated by the plastic: i don’t find that the least bit appetizing. it also would have been nice to have a recycling system in the hotel, but the entire state of florida being backwards in so many ways doesn’t seem to understand recycling much anyway. other than that, the staff was very pleasant and accommodating, the room was nicely furnished, and the bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable — more than any other hotel where i have stayed in this class that i can remember. i didn’t get to use any of the other facilities as i was there very briefly and it was quite cool when i was there, but the grounds seem to be nice and to offer opportunities to socialize beyond just staying in your room.

Do not stay here! From the outside it looks like a nice place, and the rooms don’t look too bad, but they don’t clean them. We checked into our room and noticed they did not vacuum. There were toenails all over the floor! Aside from that they did not even change the bed linens, they simply turned them inside out and you could tell they had been used. The bathroom wasn’t clean either and they didn’t change the towels, only took out the dirty ones. We learned from the front desk that the maid only comes once a week…
