Great outdoor seating, though chilly today. Corn and shrimp chowder was very good. Shrimp and clam just ok, a little greasy.

We decided to give this restaurant another chance. We were disappointed before. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. First of all I must say that the chicken quesadilla was wonderful, so it wasn’t the food but the service and the restaurant in general that was the issue. The service at the bar was lackadaisical at best. We had to ask for water twice and it never got refilled. Neither were we asked if we wanted another drink and the bartender simple left the area. The next thing a young man began to mop the floors in the bar area and proceeded to rinse the mop in the sink at the bar! I asked the bartender if that was they did the dishes and she said that sink was for«sanitation»…Really? Right next to where you do the dishes??? I told her that it was disgusting and that the least they could do was to get a bucket. She got confrontational and called the manager who tried to smooth things over. When the bill came the bartender had forgotten to deduct the parking fee. When I pointed this out to her she again became confrontational and said she had to call the manager… What? to just deduct the parking fee from the bill? I told the manager that the most important thing in a restaurant was the food and how to treat the customers. That we had come in to relax and have a drink and that there was a lot of noise and that the service was poor. He suggested that we could go to the outdoors part of the restaurant. Really? We are not coming back.

Was there while visiting family and friends. The food was OK(the shrimps were tasty) but the drinks were not that great(and seemed watered down). The service was very lax and our waitress seemed like she couldn’t care less. I don’t know, I might go back; others seem to have had a much better experience so who knows. I hope this place get’s itself together, it’s a nice location.

If you read any bad reviews, disregard them. Most are from when they first opened. Most restaurants are bad at first and need the opportunity to work out the kinks. It is what it is. I’ve been here 3 times this month. Atmosphere is PERFECT!!! The food is so good. Bacon wrapped shrimp with feta and spinach… UMMMMM. YESPLEASE!!! So delicious. Fish stew is absolutely yummo! Jambalaya is so good. Haven’t had one thing we didn’t like. Prices are very reasonable. If you’re looking for outdoor deliciousness, this is your place. I promise.

This is a very chill place on the water with good drinks and good food. It’s great for people– watching and it’s not loud like some bars in the area. Their coconut shrimp is super delicious! It’s a bit on the pricey side, but the atmosphere, service, and food quality make it well worth the cost. I will continue to be a regular here.

Yes. I said that to be nice. I’m a GM of another area restaurant and know quite well about food and service. I didn’t want to start her day with a negative remark on the gator bites. I just left without finishing them. I don’t want you to get the impression that I was dogging the place. I actually loved the restaurant and service. The food just has to get better. I’m sure you’re already working on it. I’ll be back and I’ll bring friends!

Not only am I a fan of the great name but I’m a fan of that outside bar. I visited friends in the area over the weekend and we happened upon a few seats at the bar and had a few cold drinks. We just came from eating or else we would have jumped all over some of the food we saw go past us… next time we will try some of the treats we saw on the menu for sure. The service was awesome, the drinks were cold, and the atmosphere was a perfect mix of relaxing and fun. A+!

I want to love this place. It’s right on the water with a great open deck. We were seated quickly and the waiter was great.(Thanks, Tommy, you do an awesome job!) I ordered the burger and underwhelmed was the word. It was brought out and was barely room temperature. The fries were cold. The deviled eggs were excellent, better than my mom’s! My husband had the fried grouper sammich, it was ok and his fries were cold also. They ran out of Diet Coke and were honest about it instead of just bringing it and then making an excuse. The waitstaff was great, but I wouldn’t make the effort to go back.

It was a pleasure to stumble upon this place… I didn’t eat because I just met a few girls and their doggies for a couple of beers… service was on point and the brews were ice cold… I will be back to try the bacon wrapped shrimp everyone is talking about for sure!!! It would be GREAT if they had some ENTERTAINMENT at least on the weekends… JS

Ate here for lunch today. We were the only ones sitting outside besides a couple of people at the bar. Exceptional waitress. She was very on top of things and of course brought colors and a page to my dAughter. My friend and I ordered the deviled eggs for an app and then both had the bacon wrapped shrimp with garlic spinach and feta. And the reason for my 3 stars. The spinach was so soggy and greasy and absolutely no flavor to the bacon wrapped shrimp. Crazy right?! Cool place tho and its too bad that they don’t have tables near the water.

We arrived at this new restaurant on the sponge docks in Tarpon Springs, hoping for good food. Our hopes were shattered. The shrimp dishes were delivered with shrimp so small I don’t think we could even have used them for bait. The dish was horribly thrown together. A dinner shrimp should be a reasonable size since you’re paying a substantial price. Total disappointment! The salmon dinner was almost like they had taken it out of the garbage and put it on the plate, there was one piece covering over another smaller piece; not only was it under cooked, but after sending it back the first time it arrived again undercooked. The salmon was absolutely awful. I can’t think of any good reason to go back to this place. It is definitely WRECKED!

The fish tacos were very underwhelming but the the bacon wrapped shrimp with feta was delicious. The fish tacos had very little fish and were in corn tortillas. I think fish tacos should be in flour tortillas but that’s just my opinion. Do yourself a favor. Order the bacon wrapped shrimp.

Nice atmosphere on the water. The menu has plenty of options for both seafood and non seafood dishes. Steak quesadilla was very good. The steak was tender and had a nice flavor. The view from the bar is outstanding and the bartenders are very friendly. Definitely going back to try a few more items from the menu.

Plenty of outdoor seating available but not much indoor seating available. We went on a hot summer evening. The fans helped circulate the air a bit but not very comfortable. The food was good but over priced. We had two bowls of lobster bisque, shared an appetizer and had two beers and the bill came to 30 dollars without even having a main course. It is a good concept but in my opinion not worth the price bring charged. Update: We will come back and try again for sure. Thank you for your response, it was very professional.

It’s the only game in town after 9 pm so that gives it merit. Staff is very nice. But the food was awful. The tomato sauce and sausage in the jambalaya literally tasted like vomit. The shrimp and clams in the dish we so small and over cooked that they had no flavor and were falling apart like mush. They also forgot to serve my sides with the meal. Other problem — they serve beer in plastic cups. Are we in college again? They were also pouring off the foam into another cup. I really hope they weren’t recycling it and serving it. Not worth the visit unless it’s late and you’re starving.

We went to Shrimp Wrecked on a Friday night with 4 adults and a kid. The place was fairly empty when we got there, but by 7:30 they were packed. As others have mentioned the shrimp with feta over spinach was excellent! The fish tacos(mahi) were disappointing — two very small soft taco shells(corn) with a little fish and slaw — glad I didn’t order the shrimp tacos. To the owners — You have the mango salsa — put it on the tacos and make them bigger. Everyone in our party was very disappointed that the restaurant was not really on the water. The main dining area overlooks the city marina parking lot and the only view is from the bar. There is nothing they can do about it now, but what a mess up for putting a 50′ bar across the view of the river. If they get the zoning for tables past the bar they might be able to fit a few table out there. If you don’t like smoking, don’t go here — The entire outside dining area is a smoking area. Another pet peave — They only have two single stall bathrooms — every time someone in our party had to go they had to wait for one to open up. The food was good, the wait staff was very attentive, the manager came by and was very nice,

Shrimpwrecked sits in the center of the Tarpon Spring Sponge Docks. This restaurant just opened recently and I look forward to them securing the permits to open the large patio that sits directly on the anclote River. The servers here are extremely friendly… not super knowledgable about the menu yet. The bacon wrapped shrimp with feta and spinach are absolutely RAD. Go there and eat these, worth every penny. They have a solid beer selection to wash it down… choose this and you will be impressed. Although I didn’t order it, the table next to me ordered a Greek salad, it looked epic. I could eat these two and leave extremely happy. The tacos are not recommended. Served on corn tortillas and filled with way too much wet coleslaw and way to little mahi… they just didn’t make the grade. Overall, I like Shrimpwrecked and I will return and sample more!

I am changing my review from 5 stars to one when I found out that the waitresses here are NOTTREATEDWITHRESPECTBYMANAGEMENT. I personally saw one of the waitresses be sexually harassed by her manager and I made a comment and found out that when the previous manager tried to implement a sexual harassment policy(she was female) she was FIRED. This is a family owned and operated business that I WILLNOT support any longer and will make sure to tell anyone and everyone I know to NOTEATHERE! Rusty Bellies treats there employees better and the food tastes better! I just tried this place out for the first time because I was craving seafood nearby. And I was surprised to find out when I got here they had just opened up three days ago. So I looked at there selection of appetizers and was happy to see shrimp ceviche and coconut shrimp. When I got it the mango chutney was amazing it was definitely homemade along with the chile sauce it comes with. My brother got the blackened shrimp po’ boy with French fries which were both cooked to perfection. French fries were seasoned with salt and pepper and the po’ boy was tender the bread toasted and the remoulade sauce was soooo good!!! Lastly I had to try the homemade key lime pie oh my god amazing so creamy. Delicious 5⁄5 stars delicious! Absolutely delicious and good prices for what you’re getting!
