UPDATE: Just found out that they closed permanently on August 31, 2014, just a week after the last time I was there! It’s part of the Friday’s chain and pretty much what you’ve come to expect. Nothing extraordinary but the drinks and food are good and the service is OK. I’ve been there many times since they first opened and I was in College. I thought back then it was a little better. Service lately seems to be a bit different, not horrible, just different. We’re very specific about what we order and they always seem to miss or forget something. But all in all, it’s not a bad place to grab a bite and have some drinks.

It’s Fridays, it’s a chain. You know what to expect. Service was friendly and efficient. Jack Daniels steaks were tender and flavorful. Pretzel appetizers with mustard dip were excellent, the pretzels were soft and hot and not too salty. Enjoyable meal.

Terrible. This Fridays gets the rare distinction of my one star hall of shame. Usually I’ll find a reason to give a place 2 stars but my experience was so poor it hurts me to have to give them even one star. The main problem? Service. It was excrutiatingly slow and inattentive. I ordered the Jack Daniels Whisky cake with ice cream ONTHESIDE. I always order deserts like that because I don’t want the Ice cream to melt before it gets to me. Not only did it take forever for my order to come out it, but the ice cream was on top of the cake and not on the side as I requested. No big deal, they’ll make it again. So the second one comes out, this time the cake is room temperature. I specifically asked the server if it was warm before ordering and she said yes. My cousin ordered the brownie which is also supposed to be warm and that too was room temperature. In addition to my request being ignored, and kitchens inability to properly prepare the dishes on the menu I had to wait FOREVER for the check. As a routine when I order food and I’m with a large party, I’ll ask for a separate check and request that they bring my check out when they bring the food. This way I can settle my debt and avoid the confusion of trying to figure out who ordered what and who owes more money. The server stated she would do that for me but of corse she didn’t, I ended up having to wait for my check so long that it kept me there longer than I wanted to be. In summary, service was slow, the server did not pay attention to any of our requests and the food was cold. I’ve been a long time fan of the Fridays chain and won’t hold the experience at this location against the company. But this location didn’t even earn the one star they received.

Consistently the slowest service I’ve ever seen for a business lunch in an empty restaurant. Don’t waste your time here unless you enjoy slow service and average food. 45+ min wait to get a bowl of soup and still waiting on a sandwich.

Disappointed. Used to go here all the time with my good friend for years. We went here for New Year’s Eve and the drinks were good and appetizers were good as always but our steaks were gray and fatty and service was horrible

Fridays at the Palisades mall is pretty damn good! In fact it’s my favorite restaurant in that mall, out of Chili’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, IHOP, among other restaurants. At Fridays the food is very tasty and fresh. The only complaint I have is the waiters aren’t too bright. They’d sometimes not put in certain food you ordered and later after 25 minutes of waiting they would tell you that part of the kitchen is already closed. Speaking from personal experience. But I still go there because the atmosphere and food are both amazing! 4 stars for food and place, –1 for bad service.

I went with a friend for dinner; we sit in the bar because the place was full. Before our food arrived, I had a Jack with code, normal drink that only need, whisky and soda everybody know how to make it. Food: we choose from the pick 2 menu. I had for my appetizers spinach Florentine flat bread: A crisp that is oven-baked flat bread topped that have spinach and artichoke heart spread, a brochette mix of diced tomatoes, garlic, fresh basil and a hint of crushed red pepper and oregano. I enjoy it a lot. Entrée: Sizzling Chicken & Shrimp: Sauteed garlic-marinated chicken and shrimp tossed in a brochette marinara this is served over melted cheese with onions, peppers and creamy mashed potatoes. My friend appetizer was a pan-seared pot stickers steamed, pan-seared pork dumplings. This was served with a Szechwan dipping sauce and from his entrée he had the same one that i ate.

My husband and I eat here about every two weeks. I like that they have coupon deals and specials all the time(How do the servers keep them all straight?) Food is usually good. Service is iffy– sometimes it’s great and others on the slow side. We usually go on a weeknight when it’s not busy. Join the stripes program and you can earn points toward free entrees and desserts.

Should have gone to Bronx Ale House. No 12pm — 7pm happy hour. This location’s happy hour runs from 4pm — 7pm then from 10pm to close. We had the blackberry LIT and the Sunset 777 which the bartender(Courtney) had to look up the recipe in some secret TGIFridays reference manual. The latter was pretty strong, very good. Pass on the blackberry LIT — packs no real punch. a waste of calories. Appetizer samplers were pricey for what you received. $ 13 for two pretzel logs(delicious!), 4 potato skins &5 boneless wings. This is Westchester, not lower Manhattan so I thought the price definitely did not suit the plates here. Whisky cake was weird. German chocolate-like texture but too much stuff on top. In all fairness we took this to go and ate it on the ride home so nothing had started to melt. Would not order it again. Service was decent. Bartender took some time to warm up to us but was efficient. Typical Friday’s. Would stop in again but would not go out of my way to come here.

Typical TGIFridays experience. In places like this, I like to sit at the bar because I feel like I get better, more personable service. This place was no different: good service, decent food. This is where my underlying beef with Fridays comes in. The main competitors for this chain are places like Chili’s and Applebee’s. While those chains have tried to increase the value of their meals, Fridays has spent more time trying to dress up their food presentation. The food is the same as always, but the portions are smaller and prices are higher. But, hey, it all looks fancier now.

If you want awful service and have to wait 45 minutes for a salad come here. Terrible service. Management is terrible.

Lousy service, lousy food. Ate at the bar and ordered a side salad with bleu cheese dressing and the Bruschetta Chicken Pasta. Entrée came out before I could finish half my salad. The Bruschetta Chicken Pasta is made with precooked chicken slices with fake grill marks. They were cold. It appeared to me that the entire dish was microwaved as the food had«hot spots» versus being uniformally hot throughout. Service was fast, but too fast.

For the first time, I’m downgrading a «5-star» restaurant. I feel like I need to do it because, otherwise, people will think I’m crazy. First of all, the bar-area, bartenders and service are still 5-Star. Absolutely. However, after three consecutive bad experiences in the dining area, I cannot recommend it. Service– A complete disaster. This is the main reason for the huge downgrade. Three times in a row I’ve had service that was slow, inattentive(especially initially and at the end– they do bring the food), and unpleasant. A particular waiter is a mess every time I come and for every table in our area. I don’t get why he’s still allowed provide such poor service(answer=bad management). And, speaking of management, our waiter charged us nearly double the proper bill for our meal and she not only«corrected» it by charging the additional amount for the proper bill, but she left the initial charge on the card and I have to wait a couple days for it to clear(my debit card) or go back so she can«contact corporate.» Couldn’t she have just given the difference in cash? This is just one example of their bureaucratic approach to dining. Sorry to say, but appetizers and drinks here at the bar are great. Avoid the rest. The food was fine. Nothing to comment on there.

The story behind this particular TGI Friday’s is that I used to live right behind there in the building complex. My roomie and I would jog sometimes… ok, mostly walk… and if we made it to the other side, then we’d treat ourselves to good greasy food. Here, the service was good and the people were friendly. The place was full of chotzkies. The servers were covered with Flair. This is your typical TGI Friday’s.
