The house I live in was purchased by my grandparents in the early 60s. Although my grandfather and uncle made renovations and improvements over the years, it can go without saying that certain features of the house had since become dated and needed an upgrade. Recently it came time to update the kitchen. The cabinets were old, appliances needed replacing, and the layout at the time did not provide an ample cooking space. After some searching we found Advanced Builders in nearby Tarzana. The contractors were very professional and worked with us to update and recreate the kitchen in a much more modern style. In no time at all our old kitchen was completely transformed. I would definitely recommend them for all your household needs and will definitely go back to them for other projects around the house.

Company tries very hard to be accommodating, but use of a large number of sub-​contractors, e.g., cabinetry, flooring, tile work, etc. means you will have excellent work done in certain renovations, and mediocre work in others. Decline company offers to move your existing furnishings into your garage: we did this and every single piece they stacked (horizontally, not vertically) was broken by the time it was moved back by customers. It was a loss of a couple thousand $$$. We wound up with no electrical connections and no sockets in some rooms and 1 room where the duct work was not reconnected at all. The house was left very messy. We had to search for a week to find our bed that was left in the garage and the special kitchen cabinets we ordered all began to close improperly and fall away from the ceiling: we fixed and paid for all items we fixed ourselves. Company understands and works better for traditional homes than modern homes. Hope they improve a bit. Wish we could be more complimentary.

I added 500 square feet to my house as my master bedroom and bathroom attached. We also added 11×11 walk-​in closet. It took Davanced Builders about 6 months to complete everything as Nick promised me. My wife & I really love the overall results. And most importantly, price never changed and they stick to their schedule. Highly recommended. 5 stars!!!

I contacted them to receive a estimate on renovation work for my home. I was pleased with the service on the phone; however, the not with the man that came to my home for the estimate. He was pessimistic about every idea I had– patching the roof, refinishing the floors, doing a combination of stucco and other siding, managing some of the subcontractors on my own, etc. I had already had several bids from other contractors, that told me that all these things made sense, and were much pleasant to work with. Some of them even suggested these ideas.
Perhaps, I was not treated as well because my budget was not enough for the estimate? In general, I got the sense that he only cared about money, and not actually trying to help me. Fortunately, I found some great contractors that are helpful and can fit within my budget!

The Advanced Builders and Contractors team worked cohesively with me any my family to complete our room addition project. There are a lot of different personalities in my family, so when ABC was making our architectural plans, we had a million and one ideas that we wanted to see. Despite our numerous requests, ABC accommodated us until we chose the final layout. And that’s how they were during the construction phase as well — they communicated with us regularly and tried to make sure we were 100% satisfied. The quality of the construction was top-​notch and the service was phenomenal. Based on our experience with ABC, we would highly recommend them!

I called this Company to inquire about making our master bedroom bigger about 4 – 5 feet with no added plumbing or extra work. It took them about a week to get back to me. Then I was playing phone tag with someone named Tammy. When she asked me about what my budget was? My response to her was a fair and honest price. She then put me on hold for awhile. Came back to the phone and basically brush me off. Telling me they were busy. Who ever Tammy talked to, while putting me on hold doesn’t want the business. I’m skeptical about the integrity and ethical practices of Advanced Builders, especially a company who asks what’s my budget and for not taking on a smaller project with a savvy homeowner who’s on a budget. Like most homeowners. I value businesses based on customer service and fair and honest pricing. Thank you Advanced Builders you did me a favor.

Advanced Builders and Contractors did a great job on the front porch of our townhouse! Advanced provided us with a competitive bid as well as prompt and professional service. They listened to what we wanted-​offered us «best practices» ideas and in the end-​gave us exactly what we were looking for. We couldn’t be happier with their service!

Advanced remodeled my parents master bathroom. They knocked out a closet and expanded it which gave them room for a tub, walk in shower, and double sink vanity. Jason helped us choose tiles from their vendors and get discounts. The 3D renderings of our future bathrooms were really helpful and helped my parents decide on the floor plan. All in all great experience.

Advanced Builders and Contractors recently completed a room addition project for our home. My parents chose five highly rated contractors and decided on Advanced because they were the most reliable company, they easily understood my parents’ vision and we got to visit projects that they previously completed — which were professional and very beautiful. Advanced’s architect implemented all of our needs in his blueprints and even gave us 3D images and options to choose from. The Advanced team helped us choose finishing materials and got us discounts at their vendors. We had a great experience with Advanced, and we highly recommend them!

We contracted Advanced Builders and Contractors for our home in Woodland Hills, California. We were originally referred to them, then we checked their reviews, and then met with them in person and everything added up!
Advanced Builders created an outdoor kitchen for us with custom cabinetry and counter tops — complete with a bar area, barbecue, wine and beverage refrigerator. This outdoor area has been great for hosting friends and family, and we have gotten a lot of compliments on it. There is a ledge at the outdoor bar that was built for bar stools, and a great place to chat, play cards, etc.
My family and I had a wonderful experience with Advanced Builders and Contractors. Sam was our project manager with many years of experience and vast construction knowledge for all types of projects. He helped guide us through the process to get exactly what we dreamed of for our backyard space. With regards to tiles, coloring, finishing materials, designs and layouts, Sam had us covered and we felt very comfortable with Sam and the rest of the Advanced team throughout the process.
Due to their great service, honesty and quality of work, we also used Advanced Builders and Contractors for my Grandmother’s master bathroom remodel in Brentwood, Los Angeles. We had custom double vanity built for her, and installed elderly-​friendly tub and grab bars. My grandmother was thrilled to work with Sam and choose tile colors, bathroom options and layouts, and in general just working and talking with Sam.
