Heaven on Earth… Literally! When the time comes and you want to place your loved ones in a Senior Living Facility, you can become very skeptical about them, the place, people and overall facility. It can raise concerns for abuse, sanitary issues and even the food. Since the decision is already hard enough, you really don’t want to think about these things in addition to all that’s going on in your head. With AvantGarde Senior Living, you won’t have to. This place is truly heaven on earth. My aunt has been a resident for the past 3 – 4 years and we couldn’t be happier. She couldn’t be happier! The life of our beloved family members don’t come to an end at a senior living facility. At least not at this one. They are still cherished, honored and respected. They hold fun games, movie nights at the facility as well as take them to Roger’s Rim Shack in Northridge at the residents expense. This is not mandatory, but something fun for people who want to participate to do. Like a field trip… During the holidays, they respect all religions. We are Jewish so there is a menorah that is put in place and Hanukkah is celebrated amongst all other holidays. The respect the staff of this place shows to these cute residents is magical. I must mention Erin Mahoney, whom is the Director of this facility is beyond amazing. Her hard work and true care really shows. She is always available for the families that have concern and answers their questions delightfully. She also interacts one by one with the residents and her office is always open. I love that… They also provide translators for those residents that don’t speak English. I love that even more because my aunt is one of those people. With all the nightmare stories you hear about senior living facilities, it’s nice to actually be the one to stand tall and say NOT THIS ONE…
