Best facials in town, hands down. She caters the facial to what your skin needs, and not just a rhythmic order of skin care that most estheticians do.

Miriam is amazing at what she does! I first starting going to her to get my eyebrows done & most recently saw her for a facial. Having become my regular go to for eyebrow, I knew that her facials must also be of top quality, one of a kind attention and care. She truly is in an artist in her craft of beauty and skin care. My eyebrows (and now skin) are constantly complemented on thanks to Miriam. In addition to her skill and technique, she is also a sweetheart and very professional. I always leave her beautifully serene and clean space feeling as if I have just left a friend. Try her and you’ll see for yourself!

Miryam is nothing short of a miracle worker! I wish I had a picture of what I looked like less than a week ago as the transformation has been absolutely unbelievable.
I have suffered with acne on and off since my teenage years, but was able to manage it with birth control in my adult years. Even with birth control though I’ve had «episodes» or breakouts here and there and I actually stopped taking birth control for some time which only brought back the problem. I have tried just about EVERY product out there, gone to dermatologists, spent money on expensive products but no matter what, I have never gotten to the point where I feel I might be able to go to work without make-​up. I had made peace with it because I didn’t break out much anymore so wearing cover up to conceal the dark spots and scarring was no big deal. About three months ago though I started breaking out along my jawline and it seemed I was having more blackheads. I went to a licensed aesthetician for a facial in search for some relief. She recommended I reduce washing my face to once a day and use rosewater to hydrate my skin. Unfortunately the problem got worse! I broke out horribly along my jawline and neck! It was painful and it seemed every day I was waking up with new bumps and cystic type acne. It looked like really bad razor burn. I started trying dermalogica’s medibac but it didn’t seem to help much. Thankfully I remembered I had gone to Miyam before for my eyebrows and I recalled being impressed with her skin and warm personality. (You feel as if you’ve known her for ages.) I also recalled she did facials so I called her up, explained the problem and she took me in that same week.
I went in with horrible skin and I came out with no bumps on my face, a décolleté that was even toned, but most importantly with hope. She recommended a régime and products which I hoped would help in the coming weeks, but I kid you not when I say it hasn’t even been a week and you would never know my skin was so horrible only a week ago! I have zero bumps and the scarring and discoloration is almost all gone. Even old scarring and discoloration has greatly improved. Enough to say tomorrow I will not wear make up and I do believe if I continue with the products, régime, and follow up with Miryam, I will likely not be wearing make-​up to work in a few weeks.
If only I had taken a picture you would think it was retouched. I really cannot believe this myself! I decided I had to write a review because I know how difficult it is to deal with acne so I’m hoping this will help someone out there find relief and beautiful skin.

I’ve been looking for somewhere good to get facials, and here I found absolutely the BEST! The moment you walk to her you’re already feeling comfortable and relaxed. she is so gentle and professional. I’ve been going to her for waxing, eyebrows and facial for months now and I am in love with this amazing woman! always nice and professional. She’s flexible with appointment ans very quick! Perfect for the busy women out here. I have sensitive skin but ever since i’ve come to her I had the best skin I had in years! if you want the best for your skin– this is definitely the place for you. She always return to me, which is great beacuse i have a crazy schedule. 5 stars for the best facials, the most gentle and quick waxes and for the amazing professionalism.

Miryam is probably one of the few people on this earth that I trust with my eyebrows. Miryam is an unbelievably talented esthetician and is so welcoming to her clients the second they walk through the door. I have been going to her for years now and it is safe to say that she is not only my eyebrow lady, but also one of my really good friends. Although I live in Calabasas and the drive to her can sometimes be a little while, I would not go to anyone else for my eyebrows! She is very sweet, honest, affordable, and she is flexible with her schedule. I have recommended my friends to her and they love her just as much as I do. She has a beautiful heart and treats her job like an art (that rhymed, wasn’t planning on it).
I just came back from seeing Miryam and I have already received a number of compliments on my eyebrows. I am going to school in Miami in the Fall and I have absolutely no idea what I am going to do without her :(

Facials are ABSOLUTELY amazing! My skin has gone through a lot of turmoil and stress in the passed year and Miryam did an Enzyme facial to do serious damage control. She really got deep into my skin. Not only is she amazing with how she does it, but she’s also very informative. About a month after the first Enzyme facial, I went back for another one and my skin is improving even more! I look forward to future maintenance facials. She’ll also answer any skin-​related questions you have. My skin pigmentation has improved tremendously as well as my blackhead dilemma. I’m so excited and will only get facials from her!

I am a 27 year old woman who has never had my eyebrows tweezed, waxed nor threaded by anyone else, but myself. Why? Because I have been very afraid… Afraid of my eyebrows being thinned out even more than it already is! I made an appointment to see Miryam and instantly fell in love. One, she was right on time (that’s a huge PLUS in my book). Two, her studio was immaculate. Three, she was very welcoming (not stuck-​up at all). Four, need I say more?
I had my upper lip threaded for the FIRST TIME EVER because my friends have been telling me that waxing can cause premature wrinkles. Miryam had explained what to expect (of course, I expected the worst) and gave me breaks in between so that I can get used to the feeling. IT WAS NOT PAINFUL AT ALL. She was done in like 2 minutes! Then, my eyebrows… I was so tense that my palms were sweating because like I said before, I have never trusted anyone with my eyebrows. In just a total of 5 minutes, I had thicker, and fuller looking eyebrows (she also tinted my brows 2 shades darker duhhhhh)!!! GOODBYE WHOOPI EYEBROWS! I have never dreamed in a million years that I would be going out in public without having to fill in my eyebrows until now.

Maryam is the best at what she does! I know the location might be a bit intimidating because she’s located inside a gym, but once you enter her spot, you know you’re at the right place. Her personality matches the room. Soothing and inviting. I’ve had my Brazilian done with her for awhile now and she always does a great job. As painless as it can be. Fast. And she talks all throughout the process to make you feel even more comfortable. I mean, while someone’s looking at all your goods, it might get a little awkward, but not with her. You’ll always be at ease, and she’ll definitely keep you coming back with her amazing service. The last time I went in, I ended up getting my eyebrows done as well.
She’s number one for hair removal services in my book.

I’ve been going to her for almost 3 years, since I moved down from the Bay Area and was looking for a place that didn’t have that pretentious, posh vibe, but also didn’t sacrifice on good, solid service and professionalism.
She used to be at MAGIC TOUCH, directly across the parking lot. but Now she’s on her Own Spa!!! And Good for her! :)

Clean and licensed — CHECK. But let’s be real, lots of folks can do that.
Friendly and not pushy — CHECK. She will Not tell you have to get something you Already know you don’t want. That’s just annoying and you won’t come back. Not her style. If you have questions, she’ll offer suggestions. Customer service? YES!
Realistic and Reasonable Pricing — CHECK. When I first went it, I had to make sure I had the price list correct… I couldn’t quite believe that i had FINALLY found a place with prices that wouldn’t break the bank! Now, we know, for anyone who goes on a regular basis (i.e. ANY kind of «maintenance»), those prices start to add up quick. AND she’s always completely gracious about payments and tips.
Actually knows what she’s doing — DOUBLE CHECK. Maryam is constantly checking into what products are out there; what’s best for her clients, and how best to advise them. And she follows her own advice, because she’s got beautiful skin and hair; always looks nice, (even when it’s the end of the day!) and frequently shares beauty tips, if the client is so inclined. Thank YOU, for a salon with CRED.

How many of us find a place that’s totally awesome, but then they’re always busy or rushed, or just squeezing you in. Somehow, Maryam always makes time. I’ve Never had to wait more than 1 day to get an appointment, and i’ve often asked for same day service.
But I would suggest that you try to give it a day’s notice — it’s a little more relaxed.
RELAXING & REFRESHING — TRIPLE CHECK.
Maryam is a one-​woman salon professional.
The Salon is recently remodeled. Private. Modern. Has a softly bubbling waterfall along the side wall, muted lighting and a really mild fragrance (barely noticeable, but if you’re observant, very calming)
She has an organized place for your things while receiving your service. None of this leaving it on the floor rudeness.
She has a beauty chair, a soft, clean bed, and plenty of materials — all the good stuff.
She has tea or coffee.
She has chocolate or other such treats.
And MOST Importantly:
She does not mess around.
When she waxes, she focuses and gets the job done — clean lines, nice shapes, and not slow or unnecessarily painful.
When she tweezes, it’s quick, precise and delicate.
When she massages, she’s puts her heart into it — and always give the extra touch.
When she give facials, she’s gentle, diligent and asks about your needs and preferences.
I haven’t gone for every single service, but I think that about covers it.

Mariam is the Eyebrow Queen! I have been going to her for years, and there is a reason why. She is professional, personable, and her work is done with diligence and care.
Mariam’s private room provides a sense of relaxation and rejuvenation within a mini-​spa atmosphere. It is located inside the Shape It Fitness gym in Tarzana. Plenty of free parking.
She has a wide range of diverse clients — men, women, old, young, Persian, Armenian, Latino, Asian, etc… I would recommend Mariam to all of my guy friends who are too shy to get their eyebrows done. Trust me guys, Mariam knows how to keep your eyebrows looking masculine and clean at the same time!
