We don’t know what happened to TGIF . But they were off tonight.. I had ordered raspberry ice tea. Have no idea what I got it was colored water. .with who knows what in it.. The salad had no dressing, and the French Onion soup should have been called watered down beef broth with cheese.. No onions. I had the baby back ribs. Over cook not much flavor.. It will he a while before we try it again

Came here and ordered a half rack of baby-back ribs. They brought it out and my steak knife couldn’t cut through it if God himself came down and asked it to. They gave me about 7 fries with it and expired honey mustard sauce. Ive never had a bad experience with any other TGIFs, but this taunton one is disgusting. Go to the dartmouth one before coming here.

Service was slow. Food was cold, overcooked and expensive. Two burgers and a kids meal should not cost me close to $ 50 for a below average meal. It’s always disappointing to go out to a meal and realize you could do much better staying at home.

Came here with the wife and family on a late Sunday afternoon. Little to no wait to be seated. Waitress and service overall was good. Waitress was friendly. Now to the quality of the food. For a chain establishment, the quality of the food was surprisingly decent. I had the cajun chicken and shrimp pasta dish, taste was very good and good quality. However, it could have used a bit more chicken and shrimp. Quantity of both the chicken and shrimp was very little. Besides that it was a decent dish. Overall, everyone within our party was satisfied with the service and quality of the food. We would return in the future.

If every experience I had at a restaurant was as good as this, I don’t think I would ever eat at home. Our waiter Dave was one of the best waiters I have had at a restaurant, not only did he have some fantastic locks of love, but his personality and sense of humor were also fantastic. I got the unlimited appetizers and ordered 6 dishes in total. The first thing I ordered were the sriracha potato skins, these were one of the two VERY good dishes that I had. My second order was the mozzarella sticks, this was the second VERY good dish. The next thing I ordered was the spicy chicken tostada, these were meh at best. My fourth and fifth plate were both boneless wings, the first being buffalo and the second being ghost pepper. Both of the wings were tasty. My last order was the garlic and basil flatbread, this was also pretty good. In conclusion, four of the six appetizers were great, one was ok and the other was meh. All of the dishes were aesthetically pleasing though, so that was a plus. TGI Fridays in Taunton gets a 5⁄5 from me. I will certainly go there again :)

Great. Christopher was friendly, quick, kind, helpful. Restaurant atmosphere, low-key and not crowded. Food, burgers were delicious, and quick. So much better than Mansfield, heck I drove right by that one! Right off 140. Exit 12A off Rt. 24.

This place must be under new managment becuase ALL the staff working there were rude, didn’t care or didn’t know what they were doing. this past time was mind blowing and not in a good way. You know that feeling you get when you walk in a restaurant and somehow know it isn’t gonna go well? well that’s how I felt as soon as we walked in the door. right off the bat when we walked in the hostess was flirting with 2 young guys at the table 10 feet in front of us. I have alot of patience so I waited for 10MINUTES without her even bothering to turn her head left. my gf got irritated and called over to her asking the hostess if we should just seat ourselves. the hostess looked over and instead of apologizing and showing us to a table she said«yea just sit where you want» and turned back around to keep flirting. we ending up grabbing our own menus and seating ourselves hoping a waiter/waitress would notice us. so we sit down and our waitress comes over and was the only person in the place to give us the time of day. we ordered the bacon wrapped jalapeño slices for our appetizer and our meals. 15 min later she comes back and tells us she forgot to put in the order for our appetizers and apolagized. I shrugged it off even though I was irritated and tried to stay on the bright side. we wait another 10 minutes and our food comes out before the appetizer and we see our server again and she’s asks us «you got your appetizers right?». I told we didn’t and said she would get it right away. I really wanted to try these so I decided I’ll just eat them after my meal, no big deal right? so we go to eat our food and i realized I never got my side of honey mustard or utensils for that matter. I had to go back to the kitchen and get them –_– about halfway through finishing our meal the appetizer comes(which I totally forgot about) and it was completely disqusting. it was 4 very tiny jalapeños sitting in a legit puddle of bacon grease with half the bacon cooked and half the bacon raw(I kid you not). we tell her we don’t want them and to bring them back and the manager comes over. he came over looking like he really didn’t give a shit and says«so I heard your appetizer came out really late and you didn’t want them?». I said«yes and they were covered in grease and the bacon was burnt and raw on different ends.». He just looked at me and this next part blew my mind, he says to me «sooooo should I take it off the bill or leave it?». I swear to christ he actually asked that. I looked at him in disbelief and said«yea…i would like you to do that». we ending just paying the bill and leaving shortly after. this manager had to be new bc I have been coming here for years and never had a problem. so the moral of the story is to never come here until it’s under new managment becuase it’s only a matter of time before he runs this place into the ground or gets fired. don’t come here, the food was cold, staff across the board didn’t know what they were doing and we’re very uncaring and rude. it felt like the employees were running the show and though of everything as a joke

We ordered a 3 choice appatizer: boneless buffalo wings(looked more like nuggets and they were cold), loaded potato skins w/extra bacon(didn’t come with bacon, was cold and no where near loaded) & fried green beans(were good) Mom ordered a steak and sweet potato fries, fries were cold. Don’t get me started on my meal and then the replacement meal. Only the dessert was good. Suffices to say the waitress was only 1 of 2 good parts of the meal

First time we’ve been to a TGI Fridays in years. Went because we had a gift card and took our 3 year old. Was pleasantly surprised with this place. Was seated promptly, waitress was very friendly and attentive. And the food was a lot better than expected. We have stopped going to the 99 Restaurants because there food has gone down hill over the years. Gave this a 5 star based on the fact that it’s a chain restaurant and exceeded our expectations. Good job Taunton TGI Fridays.

Service was fine, but I felt the food was severely lacking for the prices you pay for it. And the portions were barely enough. Waitress was extremely friendly and attentive, but in the end, very disappointed with the food and prices.

Just a basic overpriced franchise restaurant. Fridays was the place to go years ago. Place was empty empty when I took my family. Service was a little slow. Ordered a burger which was good, though sent the fries back to the kitchen as those were cold. $ 11 for a burger should have hot crispy fries not fries sittings under a heat lamp.

I have come to consider this place as one of the best eating places in the Taunton area. It has a nice atmosphere and their menu is better than most in the area. I have had my problems in the past, like cold mashed potatoes, but this was during a time they were very busy and they did correct the problem when we complained. I do not go to restaurants that are crowded anymore, so all my visits here have been pleasant. I will go here again when I want a nice meal.

This place is everything thats dumb about chain restaurants. Where to begin? The portrait of the Munsters staring at me as we eat? The techno thumping in the men’s pisser? The 18 year old server terrified of customers and who clearly was told to push the Stripes memberships(yeah thats what I need, more spam – BTW enjoy the emails and phone calls mom;) And oh yeah – the food. Gotta love 15-page menus. No bueno. The Jack Daniels chicken sandwich? Meh. Iceberg lettuce in a chain skeeves me out. The fries were straight outta da bag in da freeza. The JD dipping sauce? Well, honestly you’d be better served giving me a shot of the real stuff and letting me dunk my bread in that Vavo style instead of the sticky mess I got with my meal. A solid C on its best night.

I came here with a general knowledge of what I could and could not eat. I mean, even if I forget if the spinach dip has chicken stock, I know I can always have the flatbread and a black bean burger as a vegetarian. Last night The bartender was SO nice and brought out their new allergen menu. This menu is coded with little symbols for shellfish, milk, wheat, eggs and other things that people may not eat or be allergic to. Funny enough, everything on the menu had the shellfish symbol next to it except for one thing: The flatbread. How is this possible a black bean burger has shellfish in it? This unnerved me slightly, until the manager came out with the black bean burger ingredients and assured me that there was no shellfish in there at all. In fact, they were Morningstar farms products. The manager didn’t have to come out and talk to me at all, so I feel that was excellent customer service. They have wifi now at this location. But My phone wasn’t holding a connection the day I was there, and there were two other people around me that their phone wasn’t holding it either. So much for wifi! Otherwise a typical Fridays, with crazy things on the walls, and a really strange path through the kitchen to get to the bathroom.

Aside from being in my crappy hometown of taunton, I love TGI Fridays no matter what restaurant it is. I’ve been to my fair share of these chain restaurants and I cannot say that I have one complaint about the food. I’m a regular customer and I usually find myself getting the sizzling chicken and cheese or the Jack Daniels baby back ribs. Fridays has the best Jack Daniels sauce I have ever tried! I will stay being a regular customer at this restaurant.

Good place to go to see the game or have a drink when your at this side of town during a late night. Nothing to brag about, but open late and half priced appetizers help this place have decent success at night. I would never go out of my way to make it here during dinner hours cause the entrees aren’t worth it!

Skimpy, inexpertly and unacceptably mixed martinis can be found here. When my meniscus is way shy of the rim, I will pout. But when all I want is for you to give it to me dry and you bring me something dirty, we need to talk. Yes, we’re still talking about drinks.

I will not take back or edit my 2 star review, but I will write a new one to show that things can change and giving a place another try can always lead to a different and possibly better experience. I had a great experience my most recent time at the bar. Great pot stickers and my dinner came out on time, hot and awesome! I got the Japanese hibachi steak which was very flavorful, definitely a good plate to try! My leftovers were just as good the next day :) I think our bartenders nickname was Reese and she was a pleasure … It was worth the trip back.

Visited this TGI Friday’s back on Father’s Day with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while. We were seated promptly, apparently Father’s Day is NOTHING like Mother’s Day when it comes to eating out. More outside grilling and the such. Anywho, were seated near the kitchen. Which I always find amusing. It’s like the staff back there forget that there are customers nearby who can both see and hear what they are doing. Waitress came over and wished my friend a Happy Father’s Day!. . in which I responded later on jokingly, was there something I didn’t know? Always thought it was weird to wish that to every male on a day like that. What do you say? «Thanks! I’ll keep this in mind for a future date when I may possibly be a father!» In any case, I ordered a turkey burger which ended up being absolutely delicious. One of the best I’ve had! Which I was surprised about considering the chain restaurant rep. Cheap prices for a lunch time menu as well! I don’t recall the music, but I also don’t remember an excess of Michael Jackson so I can’t comment on this possible downside. Enjoy!
