Tons of money for no fish. Friends took another boat the same day and caught fish by the boat load(much closer to their starting point). Captain Dave bounced us around for hours looking for just the right spot to catch nothing to speak of. Did I mention he was more expensive as well?

I have chartered with Captain Dave several times over the last few years, and every time has been nothing but a pleasure. His extensive knowledge of fishing is matched only by his easy going and friendly personality which makes the day out on the ocean the most fun you’ll have all year. The last time I chartered with him we spent the day back country fishing, catching trout, redfish, blacktip sharks, ladyfish, and more. We even went poling for redfish which was the perfect way for Dave to showcase his fishing expertise, spotting redfish 30 feet away with the naked eye in the quiet flat waters and showing you how to cast at just at the right point to hook the fish. Captain Dave is a fishing master, a gentleman, and an excellent host, making the charter experience one of a kind and a day you’ll never forget. You might even get lucky enough to enjoy the day with his First Mate, Lola the weiner dog! PS– I even caught my first sailfish on one of Captain Dave’s charters, one of the highlights of my sporting career!

I chartered Captain Dave Perkins last week on a beautiful afternoon for a half day of backcountry fishing. We caught lots of beautiful trout, nice redfish and I even caught my first shark! Captain Dave is an avid fisherman and fun to be with. I will be coming back!
