Recently bought rifle scope at this store. From purchase to mounting and leaving took 2 ½ hrs. Manager came back to gun counter 4 times in that time to approve gun purchases, looked me dead in the eye, and never once questioned why I had been there so long. Complained to corporate and didn’t even get a reply from them. Will be taking my business somewhere else in the future.

Do not spend you hard earned money at this store, especially if your black. I felt nothing but negativity and distance when it came to helping me with what I was looking for. And I have been and Taylor over 40 years and yes Prejudice still exist at Gander Mountain in Taylor Michigan

Was gonna write out a long description of the terrible service I received but let me just say this… if you can avoid Gander Mountain, please do. They lack real knowledge or just don’t care. I would have given it zero stars but that was not an option. The Gander Mountain employee told me to go to another place if I really wanted someone that knew much about archery.

We had a really good experience at this Gander Mountain location. I went in looking for a new shotgun for Goose season and we were helped by a really great employee. He seemed to genuinely enjoy what he was doing and was extremely helpful with our purchase.
They even match the price with Cabellas and there was hardly any waiting.
