Always a good steak dinner! Yes it’s a chain but consistent and always fast and service is generally friendly and attentive! This place never lets me down, so I will always come back!!!

Wait time was minimal, food was good, and staff was friendly. My only complaint was the Mac and cheese. They charged extra for it and it was dollar store Mac and cheese. It wasn’t very good.

Just go to another Texas Road house for the cinnamon butter, atmosphere and food. Avoid this one at all cost, as I will now be doing. I used to frequent here with my boyfriend, when we would go in, we would usually have college freshmen serving us, who often times left us asking where did they go? Or they would sit with the other waitresses/waiters at another table that was empty, within ears reach talking about the latest college party, going out to drink, etc. Well that alone would have given it a lower rating. However, it wasn’t until we had a carry out order that prompted us to NEVER come back to this location. It started off simply with a small order of two salads. Literally only two salads and the free bread on the side, which we asked if we could have extra cinnamon butter with it. Well not only did we get no cinnamon butter but my salad was the wrong order. My mistake driving back home — 25 minutes away, reminded me to remain calm because I should of checked though no one thinks to check the MAIN course. You usually check for napkins or condiments, maybe if you got a special order. Nope just a critter salad, no tomatoes maybe, but I would have been fine to pick them off. Well when I called, the manger Katie right off the bat got rude because I was calling back about q mistake on such a small order, yeah, you guys got it wrong! I had to call a couple times, hoping to get someone else because she was so against working with us. She offered a coupon at first when I asked for a new salad, she then offered a new salad when I asked for a different manager. Just bare minimum for helping the customer. It was like I was closing a deal on a item and kept getting a low ball offer. She refused me talking to another manager and refused me a refund. Now I’m not sure if that is a Texas road house policy, but that’s ridiculous. For a week straight I kept calling back adamant to speak to the MP, Scott. Well goodness, you think he was Obamas Chief of Staff, he is ridiculously hard to get ahold off. I talked to probably three levels of management and some days Scott was there but 8 would be told he was busy. Other days I was told he would be in on a Tuesday for ex. Only to be told that he didn’t work that day when I called back. Now one thing I cannot stand is the run around, all any redemption that had was gone in that moment. I have been in customer service for over 7 years, I’ve had co-workers do the same thing to a customer because they didn’t want to get in trouble… stop! Don’t. That will only make things work. Work with the customer, smile and don’t be rude! Now of the end of this story does not end with my refund I asked so adamantly for after telling them I want to forget this place, refund my money and we will be done. Instead it ended with a coupon for ONLY for money to cover a ENTREE. It’s supposed to be called a ‘dinner for two’ — but you’ll still have to pay for drinks, appetizers, dessert, anything except a entrée! Even sides. What. The. Heck. Cheap and doing the bare minimum to the very end. I talked to Scott and let him know the situation, he was nice for the most part but he tried to persuade me to visit again. Needless to say… Nope. I’ll travel to the Westland one where there, they’ve heard of refunds before and will give you one under a reasonable circumstance.

The bread and butter is always good. Our salads were fantastic. My wife had the samon and it was good. I ordered the 16 oz prime rib, medium. It should melt in your mouth at medium. I had to ask for more sauce to help eat it. It was either to dry or just a tough piece of meat. For the price I was a bit disappointed. My waitress was great and knowledgeable and provided great service. I will try the prime rib again in the future because I believe that you can just have a bad piece of meat.

Fantastic service and even better food. It was our first time here and they made us feel like we were old friends. It was the best steak I have had at any restaurant around here and it put outback to shame.

First, thank you Anna for excellent friendly service. Hubby’s birthday dinner was the best we enjoyed in long time. He had a giant 28 oz bone in ribeye with mushrooms, onions and cheese and a shrimp topper with a loaded baked potato and green beans. Oh also the onion blossom. I had my favorite end cut prime rib with toasted marshmallow sweet potato. Steaks were perfectly cooked and literally melted in mouth! Staff hustles at TRH and that business is very well organized. Beers served cold and quickly. Birthday boy enjoyed his brownie dessert. Yes this is good example of getting what you paid for. Price was fair for quality!

I’m a fan of Texas Roadhouse but their steaks have lately been hit-or-miss. I usually order one of their sirloin steaks. It use to be that the steak was really a good cut with none to little fat on them. Then for the last couple of years the lines of fat have gotten worse in them. I inquired and they indicated that they changed suppliers some time ago. I now order the filet and if there is fat on them I send them back. Usually the cut is really good but about 25% of the time I get one that is not acceptable. Yes, I too love the rolls.

This is our spot for a reasonable meal with superb service EVERYTIME! My Husband gets the Beef Tips or the Roadkill and I usually get the 6 oz. Sirloin or the BBQ Grilled Chicken, everything is phenomenal! I highly recommend the green beans, they’re seasoned with a little bacon and onions and so flavorful, if you’re from the South they get the beans right! I actually prefer them over the baked potato now, which is odd because I’m a TOTAL meat and potato gal! Don’t forget to ask for extra butter for the rolls, the butter is 1:2 with the rolls. lol! Do yourself a favor and request Doshi or Ashley Z., they never disappoint! They seriously should write a handbook on how Waitresses are suppose to be. They’re super friendly and think ahead with the napkins, drinks and rolls. A MUSTSHARE — I was really impressed the last time I was there, I was waiting for my Husband to meet me afterwork and I noticed a table with 3 elderly people looking over the menu. They said«it was their first time there,» after a very warm welcome by Doshi, I noticed a Manager came over with small bowls of sides for sampling. In addition to the samples she also gave them a FREE bag of peanuts and a coupon for a FREE appetizer to use next time. And she said warmly«I hope to see you again.» What restaurant does that, seriously!!! It was a rare and amazing thing to witness. Class act Texas Roadhouse!!! Try to get in before 6pm for the Early Bird Special $ 8.99 for many of the favorites, it usually is a buck off! If you’re seated before 6pm they’ll usually honor it. Mon-Thurs and Saturday until 3pm! Don’t forget to join the email«Roadie» club and you’ll get a coupon for a free appetizer!

Ok so this 4 star rating is more so about the service and overall experience I had here, because the food was hit and miss. I came here for dinner Friday evening for the first time with friends on 7⁄17. I got here first and was seated right away. There were 2 hostesses and both were friendly and pleasant. She asked me about my last visit, and I told her it was my first time. She grabbed those amazing biscuits and cinnamon butter and welcomed me with their speech of what they’re famous for. Our server came over within a few minutes and took my drink order. I dug into those biscuits so fast! Amazing! Warm, sweet, and that butter! Sooo good. Another person came over(a manager maybe?) and said she heard it was my first time here. She gave me a to-go bag of peanuts with a coupon for a free appetizer on my next visit. Score! ANDTHEN she came back with a small plate of sides for me to sample! Awesome service. This may not seem like much to some of you that’ve been to fancy schmancy places, but I’m just a poor girl from Detroit who’s used to average service, so this blew me away! The sides were corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, and gravy. The corn was awesome, the potatoes were okay, and I didn’t try the green beans or gravy because I’m a pescatarian and didn’t want to chance eating any pork or beef. My friends arrived a few minutes later and were all, «What’d you order?» I’m like, «Nothing, they just brought me all this stuff!» Like I said, awesome. We ended up ordering the fried pickles for an app, and they were pretty good. The homemade ranch I could eat gallons of. I’d order the blue lemonade for a drink, and I can’t really identify what flavor it was. Not blue raspberry, but something else. Whatever it was, it was good. I ordered the grilled garlic butter shrimp skewers with fries instead of rice, and corn and a side salad as my sides. The shrimp was kind of dry, not enough garlic butter at all. The flavor was just ok. The fries were great, they put some kind of seasoning on it that was really tasty. I knew the corn would be great from my sample, and the side salad was ok, just a salad, ya know? All of us were way too full for dessert, but I’d definitely go back to try the Big Brownie. P. S. This place is SOLOUD.

I met a friend here for dinner about a month ago. My daughter and I had to wait about 30 minutes for him to get off work and arrive, but they were ok with that. I never felt rushed or in the way. When my friend arrived, the server came right over and made him feel welcome. It was his first time here and he will definitely come back as well.(Unfortunately he took his daughter’s request to go vegetarian for 2 months, so waiting for that time to be over so I can take him back and show him what he’s been missing) This is a fantastic Steakhouse and on weeknights, be prepared for a short wait. It will be worth it.

It’s a lower end steakhouse, slightly over Ponderosa. Service was good, polite(even if the response to my «thank you» was«no problem», not«you’re welcome»). Hubby wants steak, we are in the area, we have steak. Happy with all the side choices, love the appetizer peanuts, bread and sweet butter. Nice vibe to the place, happy patrons, beer flowing. It just will never make it to the next level, in my eyes. Something in the steaks, a little chewy, a little grainy, just not a knock my socks off steak.

Called and made what I was told was a reservation for a party of 8 for my Mother’s birthday. We arrived on time. Now we have been sitting for 45 minutes and still no table. Why take a reservation if you’re not going to keep the tables open!

I seem to be on a Texas Road House kick lately. Twice in the past month! I came here last night with the boyfriend and his family for his dad’s birthday, and overall it was a really good experience. The place was packed to the gills, and considering we had a larger party, didn’t have to wait that long. As I’m learning more about this chain, I’m starting to dig how friendly the staff is here. Even with the large crowds of people that seem to be here at any given time, we have yet to have had a bad experience, regardless of which location we’re at. After scowering the menu, I went with what I had before. A 6 ounce steak, with Cesar salad and some mashed potatoes. Since we were seated at adjoining tables(because the party was large) one server took care of us throughout the evening. Things went smoothly, and we were impressed at the consistency of service. Our order was taken in a timely fashion, or food orders were done correctly, drinks were filled and everything went smoothly. As the evening ended, the server asked us how we wanted our bill. I like that because not every large party wants it on one bill and sometimes it can be a hassle for the staff and the patrons. They seemed to be super accommodating here and didn’t «stress out» with the size of our party. The food was tasty as always, and I’m glad we came here, chain or not. Overall it was a really good experience considering the A) size of the party and B) how busy they are for a Saturday night.

My wife and I dined at Texas Roadhouse on a Friday evening. We arrived at 6:20pm and were told it would be a 30 – 40 minute wait. Not too terrible, considering how busy the waiting area was. Wait was actually 45 minutes. Got seated and ordered drinks and food at the same time — we knew what we wanted. My wife ordered a sweet potato and fried pickles for dinner(not overly hungry). I ordered the NY Strip loaded with mushrooms and onions with a house salad and sweet potato on the side. Waiting for food we realized that we were seated near the bathroom and kitchen entrances. Problem with this area was that the waiters would all stand around and chat amongst each other between servicing tables. Not that they were disrespectful, but considering how noisy the waiting area was with people crowded up and the music, I had hoped there would be enough background noise at our table to drown out conversations 10 feet away — this was not the case. My salad came only 2 minutes before all of our food, so I was 3 bites into my salad when I «had» to stop to eat my steak while it was hot. My wife’s fried pickles were«cold»(room temperature) even though we specified that they be brought out with dinner(likely order was put in as an appetizer and just sat). Disappointing mainly because we chose Texas Roadhouse that evening specifically because my wife was craving fried pickles(we called before to verify it was still on the menu). My steak was good, which is what saved the food portion a 4-star review. In Summary: 4 stars for food, 2 stars for service. Would return but with hedged expectations for service.

I wasn’t greeted when i walked in even though there were a gang of female employees at the front. They saw me walk in and just stared at me. That was a major turn off for me. I even considered walking out of the restaurant because of that. I was finally greeted by one of the females and given a timer for when my table becomes ready. We were seated and greeted by our waitress, Taylor. Who was amazing! She was attentive and patient with my kids. She made the experience a memorable and pleasant one. Which I why I tipped generously. I will definitely return to this location in the near future. Hopefully Taylor will wait on us again.

Busy, loud, and raucous-the church crowd were jamming a different pew at the Texas Roadhouse, and they were singing the song of beef, glorious steaks, burgers, and fries. We came at noon and were surprised how fast the place filled up, It’s a bare bones kind of restaurant. Country music blasting from the speakers, peanut shells on the floor and staff scurrying around. We were seated fast and our server, Tanya, was an expert at getting the fun going! The table had warm rolls and cinnamon butter and a big bucket of peanuts. Menus were in a stand along with steak sauce and ketchup. I had just picked up my sister at the airport and she was treating and wanted steak. Why not, since she was buying! We both ordered the 8 oz. sirloin, medium rare, house salad with blue cheese dressing and the seasoned green beans. The steaks were tender and perfectly cooked. I tried the steak sauce which had a smoky flavor and was pretty good. You could also get your steak smothered with onions, or mushrooms, or cheese. It didn’t need it. It was the best steak I’ve had in a while and plenty enough to have the next day. We had had drinks with the meal and decided to split a dessert. Tanya said the brownies were made in-house and came with ice cream and chocolate sauce. There was more than enough to split and it was really good, with a bittersweet chocolate sauce that really hit the spot! At the end, they gave us a bag of peanuts to take home. The entire experience made for a memorable meal and definitely one of the better restaurants Downriver.
