Judging from the reviews for this place, you’ll either love it or you’ll hate it. I guess I’m lucky as I got a friendly greeting and I didn’t have to wait for a table. I was given just the right amount of time to decide what I wanted. It took them about 10 minutes to get my Breakfast Quesadilla to me. It’s got plenty of filling and it’s easily enough food for 2 people. Mine came out hot and fast with a price tag of only $ 7.95, so it’s a deal. They also made sure I had plenty of coffee from start to finish. So all that and back on the road in about 35 minutes. What’s not to like? 5 stars

My family and I went there on our way home to Ohio from a hockey game. Being a downriver/detroit area native I happened up the Ram’s Horn and decided that we would stop there The night started off okay. I am not going to name names here but the waitress seemed like a nice, and fun woman. We placed our order and the food came in a reasonable amount of time EXCEPT my fries. While I was waiting on my fries an 8 top was seated. Well that was point at which we lost our waitress. I understand that they have more than one table but there were two servers helping the other table yet we(a reasonably pleasant 3 top) were ignored. After finishing my sandwich I finally had to go to the window and get my fries myself. Needless to say I was perturbed. I almost blew my top. The icing on the cake was that the server that ignored us had the gall to ask how everything was. The food was pretty okay but the service SUCKED. Avoid this place unless you like being ignored. Next time that I am downriver I’ll drive right by this place. Unless I’m with 9 other friends because apparently that’s what it takes to get service here.

Some of the worst food I’ve eaten in years. Wow. You got to be a real ignoramus to find this food good.

Been there twice, bad experience both times. I don’t need an argument over what to call home fries. I also don’t need thick black springy hairs in my food. When I pointed out the hairs, they said they would make me another one!!! «Uh, no I’m done, thanks». And, it was still on the bill when we were at the register. I had to insist they take it off the bill. What a mis-managed dump. Avoid.

All I have to say is if you can’t multiple task maybe waitressing ain’t for you. My order was screws up from the pop to the type of toast. Then when I asked for my bill got into a screaming match with the waitress. I just threw some money down and left. Won’t be back

Oh my… the Ram’s Horn! When I lived in Detroit, my roomate and I would come here to satisfy our late night cravings for comfort food; Burgers, fries, salads, coffee, etc. The décor was dated(my last visit was in 2001), but that added to the ‘all-American’ atmosphere, in my opinion. The service was always great, and if I recall, the waitresses would always call you things like ‘Sugar,’ ‘Honey,’ or ‘Darlin’.’ Good food, reasonable prices, nothing fancy about this joint, but I have great memories of visiting the Ram’s Horn with many a roomates and friends in my 2 years of residence in Detroit.
