Mi Rancho

I really love the food from this place! I’ve never sat in the Restaurant to eat, but we order take out all the time and they come very quickly and load us up with all the extras like salsa, sour cream, pico de gallo, sauces, etc. I like Rivera Maya in Bogota as well and they have great food as well and have eaten in their Restaurant. They are just a bit more pricey than Mi Rancho and when you order take out from them, they only include hot sauce and when I asked for regular sauce to top my chimichangas with, they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. So reading the reviews it seems like the service may be a little poor in house, but if you’re ordering it for delivery, you wont be disappointed.

The food was ok. But the service was bad. To much wait and the place was empty. I had to wait 30 minutes for the appetizers and 20 minutes to get the bill. I will never come back. If you want avg. food this is your place.

We decided on trying this place out last night and I’m glad we did. The food was delicious. We started out with guacamole fresco– a healthy portion of guacamole with onions, cilantro, garlic and onions which was delicious served with chips. I had Bistec a la Mexicana which is a skirt steak grilled to your liking sautéed in cilantro tomatoes, onions & fresh jalapeños, served with rice and beans. I cleaned the plate. I’d order it again! My son had the steak enchiladas and liked them as well. My wife had the cheese enchiladas and really liked that they topped the enchiladas with a lot of cheese. All the flavors were there and everything was cooked and prepared very well.
The interior and ambiance is pleasant. Bright Mexican colors on the walls, Mexican music being played in the background ties it all up. The service was attentive and professional. They also have free delivery ($ 10 minimum). We’ll be heading back to this little gem on Queen Anne Rd. here in Teaneck. I’d recommend this place to you and all my friends.

Found this restaurant by chance, glad we did. The food and service was great. Definitely recommend the carnita and the chicken enchiladas. The quesadillas were great too ! We also had strawberry lemonades-​yummy. It’s byob which is nice too ! Nachos could have been a bit more fresh ! Perhaps thinner and crispier.

My gf and I were on our way to a birthday party in Jersey and we were starving and wanted to eat before a night of heavy drinking. So we stumbled upon this restaurant around 6pm via search through Google Maps and Unilocal.There was 1 or 2 parties seated. Place was nice, modern décor and Spanish music playing overhead. I saw 1 young girl behind the counter and 1 waiter/​host. He told us we could sit wherever we wanted. Since we were kind of already late for our party, we couldn’t really indulge in much. I decided to try their black bean soup tho and I’m glad I did because it was delicious. My gf had the cheese quesadillas and I had the steak and onions quesadillas. She was happy with her food. I was too, however I felt there was no flavor to the meat and waaaayy too many onions. I had to add a little salt which I never put on anything except my eggs. I couldn’t finish my quesadillas because they were a good size portion and I had 1.5 left over. When I asked to wrap it up, the waiter asked me if I wanted all of it. I thought that was a little odd. Why would I not want all of it? Anyways, when I got home to finish them, he didn’t give me the side of Guac/​sour cream and black beans that I got on the side and I barely touched… Minus the 1 star. Other than that, food is pretty good and service was ok.

Food was amazing! The staff/​service were attentive, patient, and overall friendly. We went on halloween and they provided all customers with a complementary dessert. Definitely will be returning!

We’ve frequented their Hackensack restaurant and fell in love with their style of cooking. We live in Teaneck and found our new home at their Teaneck location. As expected, they cook what your heart desires! If it’s not on the menu and its Mexican– they’ll whip it up! The brothers who run it under the tutelage of their father are very personable. It’s a pleasure watching them grow. You’ll want to check them out… you won’t be disappointed. My daughter who’s extremely picky, eats their food. They spice according to your taste buds. My wife (whom has a gluten and rice allergy) has never had a reaction here. They cater to her allergies with corn tortillas, nachos (naturally gf) and French fries instead of rice. We found them by accident, and are grateful for mistakes!

My family had been looking for a good Mexican place for years and were so glad when they found Mi Rancho in Hackensack, and their new Teaneck location is just as good. We went one night last week and everything was wonderful. Good service and great Mexican food.

We loved this place! Delicious food, very reasonable prices and BYO… can’t beat it. Everything we ate was amazing. I especially loved the skirt steak. We also really liked the stuffed jalapeño appetizer. Can’t beat a spicy pepper that’s bacon wrapped and stuffed with cheese (and shrimp!). The AC seemed to be off when we first got there, which made it a little uncomfortable, but eventually it kicked on. Great casual spot for dates or groups. There were no kids there when we were, but it’s totally kid friendly. We will definitely be back!

My friends and I have been going to the Hackensack location for years. The Teaneck location is just as good. The service and food are always great. Everything is fresh and delicious. Try it out for yourselves.

Thrilled that this place opened in the area, before we had to travel to their Hackensack location for their excellent, reasonably priced food. First meal here did not disappoint. AC s nice and high on a scorching summer evening. Skirt steak was perfect, the steak tacos (soft) were authentic and stuffed. The avocado salad was a great starter, huge and easily feeds two people. The lemonades are great, perfect for BYOB spiking if you want. Churros for dessert were great, came with ice cream and 4, so great for sharing. Super service and warm, festively painted space. Happy!

Food was very good. Service was attentive but the girl was inexperienced and did not get requests correct. But it would not stop me from coming here again. She needs to get more experience. One of the males maybe a manager knew exactly what I was asking for and got it right immediately and corrected it. The food was tasty and authentic portions were nice not huge but plenty after eating chips and their delicious homemade salsa. I would definately return. Probably the best Mexican food in this area and the prices were very reasonable. Nice to have a new place to go to.

By far the best Mexican food in the area. The place is small, but relaxed. Very casual. I have eaten in and ordered out, can’t get enough of it. Lots of food for the price. Arrrrrrriba!!!

The service is TERRIBLE… there aren’t enough people and the girl behind the counter does nothing but answer the phones leaving the 1 or 2 waiters to run all over the place… literally watched the phone girl do nothing but twirl her fingers while we waited and waited and waited… food is very blah and salsa has way too many onions for my taste, and not the sweet ones but the nasty pungent ones.

My husband and I were excited to see a new Mexican place open up down the street. We decided to give their delivery a try when we had some friends over and the place we were planning on ordering from was closed. By the time I ate, I was happy the original place was closed because their food is YUMMY! Delivery was slow but well worth the wait. I ordered the Bistec a la Mexicana which was so juicy and flavorful. My husband got the Huevo con Chorizo Torta and loved that as well. A few of us got the Mango Milkshakes and they were delicious and refreshing. Tasted like a smoothy/​milkshake hybrid. Our friends ordered a couple other dinners and a fried ice cream that they also were very impressed with. Would definitely recommend and we are looking forward to try dining in with them the next time.

Mi Rancho just opened in Teaneck on queen Anne road and their food is fantastic! Delivery took a little longer than they said but the food was seasoned well and the meat tender. No sacrifice of flavor WHATSOEVER. Delicious! They stay true to their claim on their site: «We serve the best Mexican food including our burritos, perfectly seasoned Taco meat». My fajitas were on point!

Tastiest Mexican Food Around! Been to a few places & this one is the best. No alcoholic beverages so BYOB or enjoys the mango lemonade. We started with the empanadas. Filled with chorizo, crab meat & cheese. Very well done with a spicy sauce to dip them into. My plate was the Parrillada Mixto which included chicken, beef, chorizo & shrimp. All cooked to perfection! My wife ordered the chicken quesadilla. Also done right! The serving are big so don’t fill up on the appetizers or the nachos & dipping sauce. After speaking with the young man I realized this is not their 1^st place. I guess when your good you expand! 5 star all the way. We went on a Wednesday night so the attention was on point! Highly Recommended!
