Best of Teaneck, best of Unilocal, hands down! I just wish you crabsmashers would stop spreading the word because I am tired of calling and being told that MY chicken has sold out. Sssh, keep it down, folks!

I was in the area and starving. Unilocal to the rescue as always. Found this little neighborhood gem with way better prices than mad for chicken. Love this little mom & pop shop. They chicken was so fresh. Seasoned, but not salty. Just right!

The best chicken wings ever! A whole in the wall owned and operated by this old Korean couple, who works really hard to keep up with the heavy demand of orders, but does not fail in every order. The sweet and spicy chicken is absolutely delicious. The skin is crunchy, but the center is nice and moist. I love spicy food, so I like adding a little bit more hot sauce to it. My daughter loves the soy flavored one. It is mild and tasty. Call at least ½ hour ahead for take out, or even if you are dining in. They are made to order, and cook each batch the same way. I highly recommend this place. It is worth the trip overtime.

Best chicken I’ve ever eaten! Get the chicken tenders with soy garlic sauce. TODIEFOR! Just make sure you order about an hour before you want to eat. They may tell you it will be ready in 30 minutes, but it’s always a longer wait than what they say.

The rice needs more salt. Other then that everything is great. The wings are very good best wings i had hands down. I also like the choice of beverages they have in the resturant also. Make sure you place your order 30min before since everything is done from scratch

Amazing chicken as it is absolutely delicious. From the outside it looks like some random little chicken spot so it makes it an awesome hole in the wall. Love when my mom brings home peck peck chicken. The best is the chicken bowl with black rice, especially the soy garlic. If you are in the area, you gotta go here for solid korean food. Unilocal does not lie about peck peck chicken!

I am providing an update because as we all know, sometimes places start out with a strong review, then things sort of slide downhill. THISISNOTTHECASE with Peck Peck, still the most awesome wings, anywhere. I am updating mainly because I had the pleasure of trying their new Salt and Pepper Wings and… oh. my. god. They are staggeringly wonderful. Perfectly seasoned, and crispy like you can’t even believe. It is magic. The whole shebang. Stacey and Dave — the nicest, sweetest people in the business who know what to do, perfectly. Their quaint little storefront. The wizardry that mystifies all of us… if you haven’t gone yet, well, GO. Thank you Peck Peck for reaching ever higher and getting there.

Love this place! I’ve lived in Bogota for 2 years now and have only JUST visited… serious mistake! Its owned and run by an older korean couple. The place is TINY, but the food is so good! They’re sweet and spicy wings are SUPER good, never soggy and ALWAYS fresh. Every order is made to order. The fries are also really yummy. The garlic soy wings were ok, a bit salty for my taste, and I haven’t had the salt and pepper wings. Its also really affordable. Good fried chicken at a good price?! who could ask for more! I want to get the chicken croquettes, but every time I go they are sold out! One day!

Being Korean-American living in Northern NJ, I’ve absolutely had my fill of Korean friends chicken, but this place is probably the #1 real deal. Beginning with their simple menu, a wait list of orders front and back on several pieces papers, and a husband and wife duo who are simply working it with the fryer, bowls of chicken, and a brush to flavor the sauce. We got their bone in and boneless chicken in both flavors. The chicken is moist, soft and fresh. The rice and chicken bowl was simple and good too. The steak fries were fried perfect and the slaw it comes with is a refreshing additive. So much support and foodie love for this hardworking couple!

I signed up for Unilocal because of peck peck. i’m still trying to figure out how they do what they do. wings take a while so call ahead. i don’t get it. it’s korean fried chicken. i’ve had a lot of korean fried chicken in my life. how is this so life changing? the fries could have been shit on a shingle for all i cared but they were the best steak fries i think i’ve ever had. i can only come to the conclusion that this is magic, voodoo or witchcraft. these wings are so good i don’t want to eat them.. .an absolute masterpiece.. .ok i ate them. all of them.

Came with a friend for lunch because we always drive past it and always wanted to go inside. The chicken smells heavenly when you walk into the establishment, and you are greeted by the friendly people behind the counter. Ordered the wings and fries and decided to dine in because the place was pretty empty. We were told before we ordered that the wings were made to order so we would need to wait about 30 minutes. If you don’t want to wait, make sure you order ahead of time! We ordered 20 wings, half spicy half soy garlic. They were big wings with yummy sauces. I love the thick steak fries, so really enjoyed eating those with the saucy wings. They also offer chicken bowls(chicken on top of rice), which sounds pretty good. I really wanted to give this place 3 or 4 stars, but I really couldn’t let this one thing go… Their kitchen is small and dirty. I don’t know if it’s because I went in broad daylight, but I could see EVERY little thing(from chicken juice splattering everywhere as they cut the wings to how dirty their appliances were). I know it’s a small mom-and-pop shop and their chicken really is delicious, but I did want to be honest and note this.

In love with this nice mom and pop shop. Like said on another review if u are a fan of Bön Chon Chicken then this is right up ur alley and it is a lot cheaper. If I had any complaint it would be the wait, but hey good food takes time. I will be back for more for sure.

Crazy good lil hole in the wall there’s not one thing that isn’t good in this place. They have a simple menu which makes it so hard to order because you want everything. The only thing I suggest is to order in advance. The chicken is Korean double fried so crunchy and delicious, as a result it does take some per order to make.

Saw a review of this small restaurant on Unilocal and decided to make the 70 mile round-trip for a look see. First, it’s really small. I count about 4 or 5 tables(depending on how you push them together). We sat in a single table but the owner moved us to a bigger table so the generous portions would fit — and we were glad she did. We tried the salt and pepper signature wings first. Unlike regular«hot» wings, these were full of flavor, tender inside and really crispy outside. The best wings I have ever eaten — Period. Next, we had the sweet and spicy«tenders». Now, if you grew up with the fast food idea of what a chicken tender is, you should realize that here, the«tender» is more like a chicken breast. Seriously! Two«tenders» would be a meal for many normal sized people(no, not me). The flavor was, well, sweet AND spicy. Nose runny spicy but not lip numbing spicy. I loved them. We also tried the soy garlic tenders and these were — an over used word alert here — amazing. Once again, perfectly cooked, full of flavor and generous in portion size. So good, we took some home for dinner. The fries are steak fries and huge. a small portion is enough for two — maybe three. Perfectly fried and tasty. Finally, we had the cole slaw — regular, not the spicy variety — and it was fresh, crunchy and ranked among a handful of great cole slaws in my dining experience. So good we also took a large portion of the slaw home for supper. A couple of caveats. First, the shop is small, with very limited seating. I think if you came here during the typical lunch hours, you might not get a seat. Second, they cook your order when you place it. There is a small, friendly sign that tells you how long each order will take. It was accurate as to how much time they took to make your food and they were also right that the food was worth the wait.
If you saw the awning showing the name — Peck Peck Chicken — you might think this was just another low quality fried chicken place and move on. Wow, would you be wrong! This restaurant is a GEM — a true local«find» worthy of 5 stars for the taste of the food, size of the portions and creativity of the spicing. If you are a foodie, a trip to Peck Peck needs to be on your bucket list. While we were leaving, another foodie came in and admitted he was making a 120 mile round trip for their food. NOTE — he called his order in ahead and it was waiting for him as he sat down. Smart. A great find thanks to Unilocal — Sorry I can only give 5 stars. Bravo!

I’m an out of towner and relied on Unilocal to get me some delicious dinner. Unilocal did not disappoint. Grabbed an über and came to peck peck! Don’t let the hole in the wall look scare you from delicious chicken! Order: small soy garlic wings(5 pieces) $ 4.25 Chicken croquettes(2 pieces) $ 1.75 Pickled veggies $ 1.95 Came out to $ 8.50 and it was damn delicious! The chicken wings coated in delicious sauce, but still holds the crunch and doesn’t turn soggy. It was perfection. PASS on the chicken croquettes… Sorry, but it just wasn’t good. Tasted like mashed potatoes inside a hard shell. Didn’t taste the chicken, sauce, or bell peppers at all. If anyone’s in California, try the croquettes or potato balls at Porto’s bakery. They won’t let you down. Pickled veggies was pickled veggies, nothing special to it, but I love pickled veggies with my fried chicken so I thoroughly enjoyed it. Called in for this order and they told me 40 – 45 minutes. Too bad I was already in the über and 5 minutes away. The old lady was so nice! She made my order right away and I was able to eat in 15 minutes. No one else sat down the entire time I was there. Just a ton of people picking up. This place cannot fit more than 10 people if you want to dine in. It’s so small, there’s no trash can. They kindly took my bag of rubbish and tossed it for me. I would have definitely given 5 stars if it weren’t for the chicken croquettes. Bottom line: GETYOURCHICKENHERE!

5 stars, no question about it! I’ve passed this place many time before but never went in to try it. But finally i drove passed it the othrr day and decided to go in. And im glad i did! Great Korean fried chicken and for a great price! The owners were so welcoming and spoke English very well. I came in with my boyfriend and sister and we ordered 40 wings and large fries which took about 30 mins. I’ve had Korean fried chicken before but not in a place as welcoming as this. Oh and I left my sunglasses there and called the next day and they saved it for me. That’s great customer service. Will definitely be returning.

The Story: Been eyeing this place for a while now. I usually go to BonChon for some Korean Fried Chicken but since I was in the area… why not? Food: We ordered a 20pc Sweet & Spicy and 12 pc of Soy Garlic. HOLYMOLY! I LOOOOOOOVE both flavors. Price: For $ 15 you get 20 pc of wings(their extra large order). They are big wings too! Décor: Not much to look at. It’s a mom & pop(how I love these), there may be seating for 4 people max. Better to call and pick up. Service: Around 30 min wait for the food but definitely worth it. The elder lady in the front is cute too. My boyfriend went to grab the bag of pickled veggies and she was like«no! you carry this» and hands him the heavier box of wings.(He was going to get both). Parking & Finding the Place: They have a little parking lot and you can easily miss the sign if you don’t know where it is. . Additional Thoughts: Gonna be my staple for FOOTBALLSEASON!

If you hate waiting, call ahead. I live 20 mins away from Peck Peck and if I knew I would be in the Teaneck area, I would call them before I leave the house just to make sure they have my food ready. Very friendly order-taking and service. We ordered small spicy chicken tenders, the«purple» rice, and medium soy garlic wings. We were also craving some of their croquettes, but too bad they didn’t make any croquette that day. Chickens were as good as their overly-commercialized competitor(you know who) and for less the price. I can take that any time. Given all the choices of Korean wings restaurants in Bergen County, Peck Peck wins first place on my list :)

The owners here are extremely friendly and willing to help by any means possible. It’s family owned with 3 tables to dine in. Please make sure to call ahead because they are very busy especially during the weekend. Food can take anywhere between 40 minutes to an hour and they don’t deliver either. They primarily serve Korean fried chicken, but they do have salad, wedges, black and brown rice, picked veggies, and slaw. Food here is made with love, so be patient and a hungry stomach. Chicken is nice and crispy, although I didn’t enjoy there sweet & spicy on my first visit, I opted for plain with salt and pepper. They are good with a perfect crisp but the flavor isn’t all there. The breaded chicken strips were also nicely crispy and weren’t greasy but had no seasonings at all, but were moist. Slaw, they can keep, fries were nothing to rave about either, and overally done. The black and brown rice is very healthy and quite good, but c’mon would you please add some salt?! It would’ve been perfect otherwise. Peck peck is falling off there A game, but I do have faith in them since they are so sweet and loving people. Food wise, needs slight work as far as seasoning and time adjustments, but other then that they are worth the visit.
