Frosty King

This is probably the best fast food place in Tehachapi. Although it’s not like there is much fast food options in Tehachapi. The food taste good. However, they need to clean their soda machine or ice maker… it always taste stale and old. I LOVE their seasoned fires! Delicious! Their burgers are decent but the chicken sandwiches are awful. The chicken has a weird texture and hard to chew. Wouldn’t recommend.

This place is great!!! Another fantastic dinner. The staff is fast and friendly and the food is always amazing.

This is my go to burger joint. If you’re a fan of fry grill burgers you won’t be disappointed. My family usually gets one of the many variations of burgers, bacon, Ortega, avocado, etc. My daughter thinks their fries are the best in town while my other daughter loves their fried mushrooms. My son loves the chili cheese fries. I like it all. A lot of the earlier reviews complain about rudeness and wrong orders. I can’t say I’ve run into those problems. I think the employees are fine and they have never messed up one of my orders and let me tell you, we have some complicated orders when it comes to the burger fixings and side. This place is way better than the typical fast food joints.

I have eaten here twice. By twice, I mean ONLY twice. I love chicken sandwiches, but I don’t love dried out, rubbery, door stop-​excuses for chicken patties slathered in an ungodly amount of mayo. I’m not quite sure why I paid as much as I did for food that is no better, even a little worse, than any other fast food joint, for less the dollar. My husband got a sandwich too and he said it was okay, but not worth the price. Mayo is a condiment folks, it cannot be the main ingredient.
The wait time for our food was also shocking BOTH times I have been here. Once in the drive-​thru, and the second time inside.
Unless they have changed their game recently, I don’t recommend it. Even for fast food, which tends to be the same one way or the other, I don’t recommend it.

I wouldn’t give them any star, but to give my complaint I had to. Frosty king must be getting really rich because the last three times I have been there they short me something on my order. I wonder how many other people are paying for food they don’t get.

One of my fave places. I love their chicken strips and crushed ice in their sodas. Also, best crinkle cut fries in town. The only down fall is the prices. But, for good food I’ll suck it up

No frozen yogurt as advertised. They at least get one star because they directed us to a yogurt place in town.

This place deserves no stars. They are over priced for the food. The last few times I went there my order was wrong, when you try and get it corrected they argue with you. The customer service is the worst I’ve came across in a long time.

Very good. Exactly what it is. Drive thru is always way too long. Fried mushrooms; drool worthy.

Tonight I ordered there over the phone and picked up the order. When I got home the order was wrong. I understand that this happens sometimes, no one is perfect. When I called back to let them know that it was incorrect, they insisted that I got what I ordered. I told them no, that I’m looking at what I got and that it definitely wasn’t what I ordered. He insisted I ordered a «number 7» and a «number 4» I said no, that I don’t even know what a number 7 was. He insisted I said «number 7». I did no such thing.
All I wanted was for the gentleman to say «I’m sorry, come back and I’ll fix it for you.» Instead, he said «You are wrong, I know what you ordered.» When I insisted on seeing a detailed receipt of what he charged me for he refused and told me to «bring me the food and I’ll give you a refund».
When I got to the restaurant I put the food on the counter and he didn’t say anything to me, just took the money out of the register and handed it over. I told him that I come to this place often and that I have never been treated like this before he told me «take your business elsewhere.»
DO NOT EAT HERE, THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR MONEY.

This place is terrible, the workers are rude. Especially this older guy who rolled his eyes at my clients who are adults with disabilities. I went to order a drink and he kept looking at me but basically refused to service. Awful stuck up people. Discriminating against those with disabilities. I hope get shut down.

My crappy small chili bowl says it all. Owner is shady and did not give me correct change for my meal. He told my to total was 6 something when i tried to use my credit card, and when that did not go thru, i paid in cash and he decided he deserved the change. So greedy and what a rip off. Don’t come here. I’ve had better service McDonald’s. Keep the change, douche bag. U need it more than i do

We used to go here all the time for the grilled chicken salad… The last 3 times we got them there was hair in them. 3 times in a row! Disappointed. Won’t go back.

There Pastrami Sandwich is pretty good but there sides need some work. I had there onion rings which I paid almost $ 4.00 for and I only got 9 small rings which is pricey for that amount plus they were mushy, I have also had there zucchini which is not much to talk about, also the mushrooms not good. I think they just need to think more about quality and quanity of there sides.

The value menu is huge and they have a lot of side items. They also have free wifi.

Love the pastrami sandwiches. Theyre menu is a bit pricy but they have amazing food. It has flavor and portioned well. Their chicken strips. Cheese sticks are wonderful as well. Yummy

I like this place for 2 reasons: their chicken basket with fries and their ice cream desserts.
Whenever I’m craving good chicken strips, this is my first choice in Tehachapi. I’m pretty picky when it comes to chicken strips and this place seems to satisfy that craving, plus their ranch sauce is good even though I’m sure it comes out of a tub.
Their sundaes and floats are pretty dang good. Not the best I’ve ever had, but the best in Tehachapi, in my opinion.
I also think their entrees are a little pricey, but the desserts are reasonably priced.
Basically, I use this place to satisfy my every-​once-​in-​awhile cravings.

Two words: Baby Burger.
Okay, there is more to say than just baby burger, though the baby burgers are amazing. They give good service and their food tastes great except we have a nickname for them «salty burger»… their food is too salty :(For this reason I can rarely eat there and my kids are limited too. I’ve asked for no salt or less salt and it’s still the same… too bad, I’d love to visit more often.
