Active Cuts

Walked in by accident, but decided to stay and get a cut. I am so happy that I did because I felt 100% better about my hair. The staff was very friendly and my stylist, Chelsea did an amazing job! She was very attentive to what I wanted done and made many suggestions on ways to keep my hair looking healthy. She was pleasant to talk to and she went the extra mile for her client. I would definitely recommend her!

Affordable, low wait times, clean facility, friendly, and professional staff. I know I’ll always get taken care of when I go to Active cuts. Since I found this place, I don’t go anywhere else. They all do a good job, but I recommend Ever for a men’s cut… He always gets it right.

I usually go to great clips to get a hair, I thought I give this place a try since I was close by my work, walk in no one was there was in and out in 15 minutes friendly staff not to expensive, will be back soon

I been to the other location but went to this location a few days ago as it was closer. I saw Carlos. He listen and was very nice. He gave me a good haircut and it was what I wanted. 2 thumbs up and the price is great. :). Thanks Active cuts.

Tamera was so amazing! She was so fun to talk to and knew EXACTLY how to recreate the hairstyle I wanted from a picture I provided. She knew exactly how to style it based on my face shape and hair type (wavy). I can’t wait to go back again! The price was also amazing considering all the work she put into my hair! (I got a shampoo, cut, and style.)

The folks at Active Cuts were so helpful when I came to town for a wedding recently. They arranged my daughter’s hair in an up-​do and gave me a great haircut for the event. They could not have been more helpful. Their prices were also very reasonable.

My husband Ryan is sooo picky it’s amazing that he found this place not only for himself but our son as well. Carlos does an amazing job and actually spends time in my 4 year old’s haircut. My husband is soooo picky about the collar on shirts when he buys them and the brand of ketchup he eats it’s amazing he has managed to find a great hairstylist that understands what he wants and delivers. Thanks guys!

I have been going to Active Cuts in Temecula for my hair cuts for a little over a year now! I have never had a consistent barber before but now I’m sure to get in there once a month. I enjoy the staffs friendly company and get a prime cut every time!

The Good
I’ve been going here for a while now and they recently upped their prices from $ 10 to $ 13 for a haircut still relatively inexpensive but no one likes an increase. The place is nice and there is rarely a wait. The stylists seem friendly and knowledgeable. I’d recommend Amanda for her friendly attitude but you will find any stylist there is talented enough to meet your needs.
The Bad

Only monster energy drinks in the refrigerator
Big TV with no cable only looping surf video
No wifi access
Limited reference magazines

I found this place a little over a year ago and immediately liked it. I never had gotten a bad hair cut. I left town for a few months and when I got back I went in with my son for a cut. My son got out of the chair looking like they had put a bowl on his head and cut around it, but my hair looked fine. So I figured it was just the lady that cut his hair was not that great. So I waited about three weeks and went back with my son and we both got different stylists then we did on our previous visit. This time we both got butchered. The lady that cut mine didn’t bother to blend, so very distinct lines could be seen. I had to ask her twice to fix it. Then my son had the same thing going on with no blending, and again twice I had him climb back in the chair. On top of it all the lady that cut my hair started giving me attitude when I asked the stylist to fix my kids hair. Oh and they upped the price three bucks.
I used to like this place and even recommended it to my coworkers and friends. Not anymore. This place has gone downhill. I will not be returning.

Found this place by accident. I was pretty nervous since I had recently cut my long hair and hadn’t been to a barber in years. Got a haircut from Em and it turned out great. I will definitely come back!

I’ve been several times now and have had someone different cut my hair every time and each person has done a great job. For $ 10 you can’t beat it :)

Haircuts are $ 10.00, and that is their everyday low price. The staff is great with good personalities and if you want a good short tapered haircut, ask for Sang.

I got a stylist named Ally (I think) and she was very nice and understanding with my haircut needs; I definitely tried my best to let her know exactly what I was looking for in my cut, but I also trusted her. I’m a student and I’m always pretty broke so it was nice to get a really decent haircut for a great $ 10 price tag!
I got a simple cut, no hair washing or styling after, but my needs were met. I got a lot of dead ends cut, the length was what I wanted, and she even fixed my bangs and gave me layers.

Saw the $ 10 haircut sign and thought «hey, a new place! They’re new and should be ready to put their best foot forward.» Nope. So here we go…
The good:
The atmosphere was nice and the décor is great.
The bad:
My actual haircut was pretty bad. Now I’m not the best at describing the haircut I want, but as the customer I expect the professional to use their judgement and at least recommend things. Not the case.
I told her «short but not buzzed or bald» and wound up with a decently long haircut that is sticking out of the sides of a hat and way over my ears.
She also thinned out my hair, but it ended up looking like I was scraggly and haven’t gotten a hair cut. I also ended up with bangs that once I got home had some hairs close to 2 inches longer than the rest of my bangs. Not my idea of a cut.
At then end she told me «you will still have some hair that comes out but don’t worry, you’re not losing your hair.» I didn’t expect giant clumps of hair to fall out of my hair when I ran my fingers thru them.
I’m willing to give them another chance and update my review, but in the mean time I’d recommend staying away until they get their staff on track.

So so so so worth going cheap, fast, and friendly service. $ 10 cut.
