I was thrilled when Anela Apothecary opened here in town a few years ago. They used to be over on Nicole Drive (across Overland from Costco) but now are in a bigger, more convenient location in Bel Villaggio (outer ring road of Promenade Mall, near Original Pancake House.) This beautiful little shop is crammed full of hard-​to-​find brands and all kinds of charming surprises.
Local jewelry artisan Tina Steinberg has small studio space in Anela as well.
Owner Michael B. is always warm, friendly, and welcoming. I am usually running in with my kids and half-​worried that they are going to do something crazy and he’s nothing but sweet and charming.
They are the only place locally to find Malie candles, which are just heavenly.
Anela is near the clothing store Tangerine and those two businesses complement each other very well.

A lovely store with a great atmosphere. Knowledgeable employees and a great location. I walked into the store and was pleasantly surprised with the feel and impression. It is obvious the owners want the customers to feel welcomed and respected. I have always been treated very kindly and my needs have been immediately helped. The owner, Sandra, recommended that I try Billy Jealousy brand Hydroplane shaving cream and Liquidsand Exfoliating Facial Cleanser. I am very happy with these products, my skin is much softer as a result. Thanks Sandra!!!

Great products and set up for Temecula… We drove out there to check it out for the Kissable Couture event from the OC since I happen to be a beauty junkie! People there were very rude, the owner’s so called Burberry clad dad behind the counter had no class, blamed us for stealing a shopping bag infront of all the people?! I wonder if he was intoxicated… but I can assure you that no one wants to be treated that way! We demanded to return the items that we bought and he kept going off and off. We are NEVER going back there and I hope they will change their attitudes if they are planning to come out to play in the big OC! Drunk? Why would I be drunk with cheap pink champagne they served and IE style who was putting the event thought 1 case would be enough for their entire party? psssh. and alright fatty, when you start carrying Chanel and wear Loubs you don’t need to steal from a store in Temecula. ya heard? Talk to the hand. hehe

Amazingly wonderful! If you are looking for skin care and/​or make-​up, this is the place to go. The owners are so knowledgeable about every product line and truly recommend only what is best for you — they do not try to sell unnecessary products that will not work for you. The store is gorgeous and relaxing — you will leave feeling informed, pampered and glowing!

Great local, family owned store. Excellent products and great atmosphere. Try the lilikoi lemongrass organic rescue. The fragrance is amazing. Excellent selection for skin, body and home. Fun line of make-​up as well. Convenient location near the Promenade.
