Total sh** service. I eat here often because I don’t want fast food crap and want to eat salads and chicken. Unfortunately this place cannot seem to get an order correct, ever. Every time I order I have to wait and look through the food, to the point I’ll actually open. My wife or kids wrapped orders to be sure they are right and 19 out of the 22 times I have gone here in 2016 the orders were wrong. I finally am over it. Fu** this place and their dumb sh** employees who probably think they deserve $ 15. Ridiculous. KFC you now have my chicken business. F.U. EPL.

We used to enjoy this particular El Pollo Loco until about 4 years ago, when it went downhill. Forget getting orders correct. Terrible customer service. Chicken pieces so tiny they looked like cornish game hen parts. But about a year ago we came back and tried them again. They seemed better; usually got orders correct. The pieces of chicken were still skimpy, but overall it was much better. They’re going back down the drain. Tonight at the drive thru, I asked if there was salsa in the bag. «Yes there is» was their answer, so I drove on through. Got home and no salsa and instead of my 2 piece combo breast/wing, which I paid extra for, it was a breast and a leg. Back I drove, and spoke with a man who was a team lead. No name tag, but he was wearing a burgundy colored polo shirt and presented as a manager. He proceded to argue with me that what I received was correct; a breast and a leg. I showed him my receipt which clearly said 2PCBRST/WG combo, and he continued to argue with me. I advised him to ask an employee to clarify the difference between a wing and a leg. He did so, and finally offered to correct my order. I asked him to make it fresh so it would be warm. It’s not wonder the orders are wrong when the team lead doesn’t know basics like the parts of a chicken. The clincher: I tried to call the survey at 877−375−4968 and hung up on 3 times before ever connecting with anyone. So I’ll be writing El Pollo Loco Corporate office. :(

After waiting for thirteen minutes in a dead dining room I went to ask where my food was. I was told that we’re sorry but the drive through is really slammed. I asked if I was standing in the dinning room, does that make me less important? The employee responded with I don’t know I’m not watching the orders. If you’re planning on coming here you better go through the drive through, otherwise you’ll wait until every one of them gets served. Then they make dining room orders.

Went through the drive thru. Took forever and finally left and they forgot our drinks. We had to go back to get them. Then got home to eat my tostada salad and ½ the lettuce is rotten, molding and old. Never will come here again.

I love this place! It is fresh«real» fast food. I always get the Chicken Black Bean Bowl and it is so fresh and healthy. It’s grilled chicken, black beans, rice & steamed broccoli. It tastes great with the hot avocado salsa. My Dad really likes the shrimp tacos. The kids meals are also really healthy in comparison to what you get other places. I usually get 2 grilled chicken legs and a side for my daughter or grilled chicken on top of rice. Sure beats fried nuggets and grilled cheese other places serve. The staff is always friendly, the place is clean and the food is great! Super kid friendly.

This was about 15−20min after I went through the drive thru. As I was explain my situation to her, I heard other employees laughing in the background as if something was funny. The manager was coming up with excuses that it could’ve been foil from their tortillas. But it had the HERSHEYS kisses paper little tassel on it! EITHERWAYTHERESHOULDNOTBEFOILINMYSALAD. The manager was not very professional and did not even offer a refund or anything I barely even got a discount . Very upset Will not return

This is a clean & quality fast food joint, specializing in grilled chicken. I’ve been frequenting Pollo Loco for 20+ years since getting introduced to them in LA. I’ve never tired of their fresh taste and quality sides. One note that I always adhere to is to ask for my chicken«Well done» or «bien hecho». This requires an extra 5 minutes cooking, but worth waiting for! I’d return for more grilled chicken.

Extra grease please ! Drive thru always gets orders wrong. I didn’t order extra grease but sure got it. Ordered combo meal with 2 breasts and 1 wing with mashed potatoes. What I received was one wing small as a box of tic tacs and one extra small breast, not two. Chicken gets smaller and smaller every time I buy here. Mashed potatoes had powder in the middle and there were cold. I had to drive back 6 miles round trip to demand my order corrected. Used to eat here weekly, now once a month. Portions get smaller, chicken is lesser quality and gets smaller and more greasy every time. My family used to love this location, but now they are used to problems and wrong orders. Now I will not go back there and I will tell my neighbors friends and members of my church to avoid this restaurant like the plague. Do your self a favor and save your money and your sanity by eating elsewhere.

My husband got a burrito, he was very upset because it only had 5 little pieces of chicken inside. My chicken and shrimp bowl had 2 shrimps and not enough chicken, more rice than anything. They are very stingy with evreything but the rice. Seriously for the price it’s not worth it.

I ordered the family meal with a salad. The salad was a lot more disappointing compared to the pictures in the drive through menu. The chicken was good. My biggest problem: the dressing for the salad was not closed completely so when we got home, the dressing was all over the bag and outside of the salad container. I did the survey hoping to let them know of this simple fix(double check when closing the liquid containers!) But the survey didn’t have a spot for comment. The service was nice and quick. I will probably be back again but no way for a salad.

Not really impressed with this location. Employees seem impatient if you ask questions about what comes on certain items. Food was disappointing as well. I would jot come to this location again. There are so many better locations than this one; this one is like the red-headed step child of El Pollo Locos.

When we decide to go out for fast food, we like to go to El Pollo Loco. This El Pollo Loco is the worst we’ve ever been to. We are not picky people and even try to give restaurants another chance after a bad experience. It’s now been several times that we’ve come here and it is just terrible. We had the ultimate double enchiladas this time, and the tortillas were so hard I couldn’t cut them with a knife. They had a few pieces of meat, no cheese, and tasted OLD! I would hate to think what the regular enchiladas are like. I called the manager, Luis, and he said he would credit me. It is so ridiculous that I’ll have to drive to another one that’s much further, just because I know they are way better. This is the last time I will ever go to this El Pollo Loco. I will be sending corporate office an email about this.

Poor service, food looks like hell. I ordered the leg and thigh combo and the leg was charred and black and looked like it came from a baby chicken(about 2 inches long) with hardly any meat and it tasted like it fell at the bottom of the grill. I have politely asked them for extra tortillas 3 separate times and even tell them I don’t mind paying extra but they never give me the extra tortillas I ask for. Very frustrating! I refuse to eat at this location again.

We went and got the $ 25 family meal with 12 piece chicken yesterday. The chicken was almost okay. We asked for extra crispy and it was not at all. The rice was undercooked and bland. The biggest joke of that meal was the citrus avocado salad. Feel free to check out the picture I uploaded. It looked like the staff gave us the remains of a bag of salad with 3 slices of avocado and a few orange segments. After a disappointing meal I have to say the churros were slightly redeeming. We also ordered the oreo frosty with double oreos. The cookies were soft and stale, so we suggest saving a couple of bucks and heading to the dairy queen down the road.

Their only saving grace is their cilantro Caesar dressing. I never used to have a problem with this location, but lately their drive-thru service has completely sucked. There haven’t’ been any issues when I eat inside but again, drive-thru, pure suckage. Last time I went online and filled out their«tell us about us», but they didn’t even have a place to give contact information to provide more information or be contacted in return. So, to Unilocal I go. My order is pretty simple. Really, how complicated can a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad be? Now, I’m curious, if you ordered a salad, wouldn’t you want dressing with it? Seems pretty obvious, kind of a given. Nope, not to the person who helped me a few weeks ago. I got all the way back to the office and realized the cilantro Caesar dressing was missing. That’s what I look forward to each time! *sigh* Today, I ordered a Caesar Salad. See there, same thing. EVERYTIME. For years. The only time I change it up is when I order chips with it. At the window I received my order and due to the mistake last time, took a look at it. Good thing I did! It looked like a small salad and I started to say«hey.» but then I realized it was heavy, so had to be the«bowl» with the beans in it. Ugh. So I said«I didn’t order this, I ordered the Caesar salad». Cashier: «Yes, you ordered the bowl». «No, I didn’t, I just want the salad». Cashier: «You said it wrong, you ordered the bowl». Uh… I would NEVER order a bowl and you know why? It has beans in it. I HATE beans. With a passion. The word«bowl» never escapes my mouth when I go to any El Pollo location because it’s never crosses my mind. WTF would I start now? I may forget the to say chicken sometimes but I always say Caesar salad. So, Jospehine(at least according to the receipt), accused me of being wrong repeatedly while getting me the correct one. Never once apologizing for hearing my order wrong. Shoot, I could walk into the restaurant and they would know what I want, as I get the same thing every visit. Ugh. Perhaps they should fix their drive-thru order screen so I could have seen what she’d inputted. Then, I’d have been able to say«no…I ordered…» Now, I’m going to have to get out of my car during lunch to order this(I need a new alternator… so I try to keep my car starting to minimum right now, so yes, this is an issue at the moment). Or just wait for my salad craving and hit the other El Pollo location after work. Because I’m so very done with this one.

So good. This particular location is hard to get in and out of and seems to be constantly training but the food comes out right so who cares. I love El Pollo Loco and especially recommend the avocado salsa. Aye!
