Truly one of the best vineyard and wedding experiences I’ve ever had! We showed up Friday afternoon for the rehearsal and we were greeted warmly and friendly by the owner Christina. She made sure that bride(and anyone else) had a glass of wine and gathered us to show us the next days events. I was immediately impressed when I met Christina! She’s calm, cool, and collected and a strong leader. She put everyone at ease by showing the bridal party and parents what would happen for the procession. She took her time to explain the process, give options and suggestions and made sure we were all on the same page. Once I met her, I knew this would be one of the easiest bridesmaid-ships ever – she just took care of everything we needed and made it easy. Whenever an ‘issue’ came up(i.e. nervous parents’ worrying), I made sure to remind them not to worry, we have Christina and this is not her first wedding here! The tasting room area was set up for wine tastings and I had the pleasure of meeting Ken, Christina’s husband. You can see why this place is so wonderful. They both truly care that you have a calm, relaxing and delicious experience! Yummy reds! The dinner and dancing was held in the tasting room and it was set up very well. Good flow to the room and options of closing the doors if it gets chilly. Really, the wedding went off without any problems or worries. Such a great venue for an intimate wedding! I can truly say this is one on my favorite wineries and I will be back to visit Christina and Ken :)

This is a dog-friendly winery! My friend and I went there for a wine-tasting but it was during the heatwave and we opted for just a glass of the white(we just wanted something cold lol). We brought her wiener dog in hopes it would be friend with the resident wiener-chihuahua dog(no puppy love). The winery is a seated one, so you can just sit with your friends or dogs and enjoy wine. Super gorgeous view. And it’s an inside-outside area thing which is pretty cool.

Best wine in town! My wife and I had the privledge of getting married here and they helped make it the experience of a lifetime. Christina helped us through the planning process and helped keep it stress free and kept the big day running without a hitch. Beyond the wedding day, Kenny and Christina make some amazing reds and have an awesome and personable tasting experience.

Upon entering the winery, we were greeted with a dog bowl for our puppy, browsed the grounds, and joined the seated wine tasting area. The winery is beautiful, airy, secluded on a hilltop, well decorated, and has so much character. I liked the wines, although I felt some were a little pricey. I was slightly disappointed that they often shut the winery down on summertime Saturdays for weddings and are not open daily — that discouraged me from membership. I would definitely return again and bring friends.

2÷26÷2016 We came to Gershon Bachus by recommendation from a friend. When we drove up the closed sign was still up but the gate was open so we still went in. The most hilarious thing happened we got off the car and we heard this loud motorcycle sound coming towards us from god knows where this guy rides up from the vines on an ATV and we break off laughing because we freaked out. Well… ended up being our pourer, he then explained he went to switch the sign we missed each other on the way up. The property is very beautiful, great views. This is by far the first sit down wine tasting ever & it was great! When we got there, there was a couple and our party of 6. We automatically got great customer service from Dakota aka ATV guy … [later to find out he’s the wine maker] The tasting is $ 18 for 6 wines off the tasting list. We got 3 bonus tasting from their reserve labels. Their tasting list is laminated & it has a rating system from 1 to 5 for you to rate as you taste. The first two wines were not to my liking[3], the last four were good [4]. Due to the smell & lingering after taste. Two the reserved were amazing Aeolus [5] & Erato [5], Sangiovese [4] I personally did not purchase any wine but overall our party did purchase a few bottles & due to our referral they were kind enough to give us the club discount. My rating is based on the Excellent Customer Service!!! Overall, I do recommend for you to visit the winery!

My fiancée and I scheduled 3 venues to check out in Temecula for our upcoming wedding. It was a looong day and Gershon was the last one on our list. The winery is slightly tucked away up on a hill. From the bottom of the road it can easily look like a secluded but beautiful villa overlooking the vast acres of Temecula. Christina is one of the owners and coordinator and she’s super funny and welcoming. She handed us glasses of wine before giving us a tour of her peaceful abode. The property offers two ceremony sites – one is out in the open, right next to the house and the other is inside in case of inclement weather. For the outdoor site,(at the time) I loved the idea of the bride stepping out from the bridal suite with her father and walking down the stairs towards the aisle to her groom. That sounded lovely, but since then I had a terrible knee injury so stairways are very much my Everest right now. As mentioned, they offer a very cute bridal suite. The interior is very feminine and vintage – completely different from what you see from the outside. As for the reception/barrel room it’s pretty spacious but a bit too rustic for me. I wasn’t a fan of the ceiling draping. If there’s no weddings or special events, they use a section of it for their weekend wine tastings. Gershon is a very quaint place. Unfortunately, it didn’t «sing» to us so we passed on it, but if you’re envisioning rustic, romantic and intimate then you should at least check this place out. Christina is very lovely and a must to meet. I think she filled our wine glasses 4 or 5 times over the course of the meeting. I’m not going to lie but I’m pretty sure I walked away warm and tipsy.

GBV was a delightful find, and our last stop on our day of wine tasting in Temecula. It has beautiful grounds, and a large tasting room. I would describe it as a place for people who take their wine seriously. No Party buses. No Bachlorette parties. But, with that being said, do not get the idea that GBV is not a fun place. Our server was a woman named Amy. She was wonderful. Very funny and knowledgeable. The tasting fee was $ 16, with 5 pours. Their wines were very good. Full bodied and quite flavorful. We bought a bottle of of their Cabernet Franc, which was delicious. I was tempted to buy a bottle of their Cab Franc/Zinfindel blend. Delicious. My only negatives would be that the tasting fee was not comped with a purchase, as the wines are not inexpensive. Most bottles are in the mid $ 30-$ 50 range. In summation, this is a delightful winery with very good wines. Definitely worth the visit.

Awesome place, wine is great, owner is on site an welcomes you with a nice taste of elegant history of the wine. Though red centric, I believe every white drinker may convert here. 15 years of wine country, finally found this gem! Try it!

My parents ended up joining the«Wine Clique» here last Saturday. We came in for our first tasting experience, and were very impressed with how the tasting room is set up. You sit down to taste, which I liked. The tasting experience felt very intimate. We definitely enjoyed a number of the wines available, and even got to try a few that were off the wine list. My ONLY criticism is that there was a particularly yippy dog in the tasting room, I’m not sure if it belongs to the owners or what, but its high-pitched barking DID distract from the serenity of the scene a little bit. All in all, we really enjoyed this winery, and will absolutely be back!

After interviewing 13+ local wineries for our wedding venue, Gershon Bachus was an easy choice. Christina was absolutely incredible from our very first meeting. Here’s why you should choose this venue for your wedding: — The owner/coordinator. Christina is amazing at what she does. Right from the start she’ll treat you as a friend, not a customer and help guide you along the way and on the day of. — They are closed to the public the day of your wedding. I challenge you to find another local winery that will do this for you… you won’t. — The staff. The staff here are like one big family working in unison to make everything go smoothly and offer a 10+ experience to you and your guests. — The food. Sorrel’s bistro who caters weddings here is INCREDIBLE. The menu choices are high quality, high class, and the opposite of «wedding food». — The preferred vendors. The preferred vendors were also top notch and absolutely incredible. Christina went well above and beyond her role of coordinator and became a friend. She helped my wife with the expected day of malfunctions(hair, make-up, dress, etc) and even stayed after the event to help my bride deconstruct her hair. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the venue we picked and look forward to wine tasting at Gershon Bachus for years to come.

Gershon is by far my Favorite Winery in Temecula. Let me share with those who haven’t had the opportunity to experience«Temecula’s Most Hidden Secret». Gershon’s private road through the Vineyard takes you to a place far far away in Italy. The architecture, landscaping, 360 degrees views are breathtaking. The owners Christine and Kenny share their wines with guest and the public throughout each weekend of the year. The Wine Tasting experience here is very unique, personal and intimate. The wine is poured by the owners themselves in a very comfortable and sit-down setting. The owners also select 20 couples a year to share in their dream by providing a Private, Exclusive, Beautiful«Dreams Do Come True» wedding and reception on their property. I was a Wedding Coordinator and Floral Designer for a wedding here in June of 2015. With that said, Gershon provided a very personalized, very intimate and absolutely Gorgeous Venue. The food was exquisite, the ambience was pure elegance, the servers were perfect, kind and fun, and the wine is absolutely amazing. Gershon, undoubtedly set the bar so high, I’m not sure how others compete. As a coordinator my true appreciation and gratitude goes out to the Owners, Christine and Kenny. Your Gold. Thank you!!! Gershon Bachus Vintners, Christine, Kenny and all the staff. You are Creating Memories that will last a Lifetime… Priceless…

Fantastic property on the De Portola Wine Trail in Temecula. You can look at the pictures online, but the actual is stunning. Great views, buildings and atmosphere. Christina(owner) gave us all the time in the world while she explained their Italian varietal(Gods) concept. Beautiful person and a beautiful venue.

Our friends got married here last July and we all had a great time! My wife and I were actually in the bridal party so we were here for the rehearsal and for the wedding. I forget the name of the rehearsal coordinator lady, but she was friendly and efficient in getting all of us together to practice. The venue itself isn’t obviously the biggest winery, but it sure is beautiful. Their bathrooms were still being remodeled, but the rest of the exterior and interior were all super clean. Driving on the rocks wasn’t the best for some cars, but that probably would’ve been my only complaint. The pricing of the venue seemed on par with most other venues that we looked at, and I’d definitely recommend looking into this place for a wedding venue!

Great place to visit and stay a while. Had the pleasure to meet Ken and a few staff members and they gave me and my friend the best tasting experience I have had so far in Temecula. Tried a few wines and chatted up with staff about what their favorite wine is and a little background on how their wine is produced. This place is very fancy and laid back at the same time. Complimentary thin bread sticks and water just give that added touch. I am making it a habit to stop here every time I’m in Temecula. Left with two bottles that I absolutely loved and wouldn’t mind drinking often.

Wasn’t impressed by the wine, it was a fixed menu. Our server was not the best and gave a very light pour because we were sharing. Beautiful landscape but not impressed with the service or prices.

David and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at GBV on 10÷25÷14 and I have to say it was everything I could have dreamed for and MORE! Family and friends can’t stop talking about the impeccable views, the food selection, music, and romantic feel. Christina was there every step of the way. Answered every email in a timely manner and truly made our wedding day so incredibly special. Our big day was just 72 hours ago and I catch myself daydreaming about it still. I am still picturing myself standing at the top of those stairs with my Dad at the base of the stairs looking up smiling at me with tears in his eyes. A memory I will cherish for the rest of my life. After the ceremony Christina had wine, appetizers, and cold beer waiting for our bridal party… which they enjoyed very much while taking the bridal party pictures. I am still receiving photos from my guests via email and text and every single picture is stunning! I decided to trust Christina’s suggested vendor list and was beyond satisfied with Dennis(Temecula’s Best DJ), Julie(Hulse Photography), Kim(Sweet Layers Bakery), and Stephanie(Sweet Pea Floral). All of which were so extremely professional and listened to everything I said and made sure they made my dream become a reality. I sat at our sweetheart table and told my now husband to look out at our guests and take it all in and to cherish every moment. The romance that filled the room with candles twinkling everywhere was just perfect. Smiles on all of our family and friends faces were priceless. Every penny was so worth it. The night went by in a blink of an eye. Oh how I wish I could have stopped time. I did not want the night to end and even asked my DJ to please play just one more song, which he gladly did. Once the night was over, everything was packed up for me and all I had to do was jump in the car. What a stress free day/night. Thank you so much GBV for the BESTDAYOFMYLIFE!

This is our favorite winery in Temecula, to date! Fortunately, we happened to visit on a day they were open; they’re only open on weekends. Not only is the winery a beautiful building at the end of the narrow, uphill road, but the location offers pretty views. I love the open, airy tasting area — especially being SEATED at the 1st table, closest to the entrance. They strive to make the tasting experience a personal one, in that one person gives your group their undivided attention and service; they say that they’ll even turn away people if it gets too busy. Being offered a cup of water and cracker sticks is a nice touch. Not only is the service amazing, the wines are delightful, too! We left with: Hesperus Grenache 2008 Erato Cabernet Franc 2008 Aquilo Cab 2007 Aquilo Cab MMV2005 $ 16 tasting fee offered 9 tastes
