Los Jilbertos

Wow this place was surprisingly good! Came here post Rugged Maniac mud run after seeing the reviews. My friends and I were all impressed by the quality of the food. I’m from SD and have had my fair share of Mexican food and the Nak burrito did not disappoint. It had a good amount of carne asada and also had guacamole, pico de gallo, beans, and french fries. Delicious. One of the better burritos I’ve had because it didn’t feel like I was eating a cup of oil like at some other places. The serving size was quite large and normally I wouldn’t finish, but I couldn’t stop eating! =P
Couple friends enjoyed their California burritos and chicken fajita plates as well. The menu is really extensive! They offer breakfast burritos too. We really liked their salsa bar as well. They have several different kinds and also provided pickled carrots. I wish this place was in the South Bay!

Got the #9-​two chicken tacos and received taco shells that were pre made. Now a mom and pop shop like Los Jilbertos should produce authentic shells right? Or I could have gone to TACO BELL.
My mother got some nachos and has stale chips.
Not sure what’s going on with them but we are very disappointed.
