Nordstrom Rack

Found the hoodie I wanted and signed up for the Rewards debit card thing. Good selection on clothes and shoes.

I will never return to this store. Was trying to make a purchase when the clerk, «Maria G, Register #4902» at the Temecula Nordstroms, started heavily pressuring me to get their nordstroms rewards program. I reluctantly agreed, not completely understanding what she was offering but then she suddenly wanted my checking account number, followed by my social security number. I asked why they needed the checking account number and the clerk said that basically Nordstroms makes a debit card for you linked to your checking account and then you earn Nordstroms bucks every time you made a purchase using their card linked which would then be linked to my checking account. I asked how much it would cost and she said nothing. I didn’t understand why they needed my social security number but the clerk said it was necessary so they could identify me from my last 4 digits of my social security number the next time I was in the store buying something. So after much discussion trying to understand her reasoning and becoming exhausted with the process, I agreed to provide my entire social security number, after much pressure but still don’t know why if all they needed was the last 4 of my social security number they didn’t just ask the last 4 of my social security number if that’s all they needed. I punched my number into their pin machine and then she handed me this long disclosure to sign. I didn’t have my reading glasses with me so I asked her for a copy and she produced a large white book that was kept at the front of the counter and said all the disclosures were in there. The next thing I know the clerk is calling someone on the phone who then wants to talk to me. That lady on the phone then asked me to repeat my social security number out loud at the cashier register in front of everyone while I’m still trying to make my purchase. I refused to announce it in the store thinking to myself are you the crazy asking customers to say their social security numbers out loud in the middle of a busy store with all the identity theft out there. I agreed to whisper my account number into the phone and then I was asked my full address & my telephone number which I also had to day out loud. Suddenly I“m feeling like this is a full credit application. I’m trying to refinance my house in a few months, so the last thing I need is my credit pulled, but again I was assured by Maria that nordstrom s weren’t pulling my credit. The next thing I know the lady says I’m sorry you can’t have the card. I’d spent an extra 30 minutes at the cash register, still hadn’t made my purchase, announced my personal information twice to Nordstrom’s officials, who said this was a free card hooked up to my bank account, and now they said I can’t have the card. I have perfect credit, which I guess if they’d pulled my actual credit, they’d know I have. After the fact she says they do some consumer check on me. I asked what was that, and why didn’t she disclose that prior to trying to get me to sign up. She said they check to see if I have a phone, utilities, etc. which obviously I do. I own a house. I felt so duped by Nordstroms plus now they have my personal information including my social security number. After all of this I was so digusted by Nordstroms I left my purchases at the counter, which amounted to hundreds of dollars of purchases to Nordstroms, and walked away never to return. My daughter, my mother-​in-​law and my mother were with me and all went to make purchases which was combined was a good thousand dollars, and got the same hard push from nordstroms. We all left. Their loss. We use to spend thousands of dollars at this store, but no more. Don’t waste your time going to this store. They are dishonest and pushy. There are plenty of other honest businesses out there that deserve the business.

Everytime I go into this store I feel like everything is always picked out! I seem to always give it chances, but very dissapointed by the selection, Although the girls that work here are pretty nice! That’s very important for a business in my opinion!

Is it just me or is the selection here super limited? I’ve been here three times in the last week and literally have walked out spending less then $ 25, which is unheard of for me. The bathrooms are super clean and the store is organized, which is nice. My only other major complaint is that there is also never enough employees at the cash wrap. I thought there was suppose to be «floating» employees with the iPod checkouts?!

This location is good in size. They have a wide variety of items and are always stocked up. Location is good too. My only complaint (if you can call it that) is that there aren’t many «green shirts» (employees) walking around. At other locations you can purchase from any employee on the floor since they all carry a portable credit card machine, I’ve never seen that at this location and have a hard time getting assistance.

What can I say about this business? SHOES SHOES SHOES! The selection is amazing! I completed all our kiddies school shopping!
TIP: Check the clearances rack every time here. I got our daughter true religion jeans here for $ 17! I purchased every pair they had and gave the extra pairs to my Nieces!

This nordstrom rack in my opinion is probably not the most convenient I went to get some sweaters which I found amazing deals on but I also needed a hair brush so I went looking and couldn’t find any so I thought I would ask an employee and they would know but they didn’t and we spent like 10 minutes looking around and they needed up saying no so that was a waste of my time… they don’t have many high end brands either the best brand would probably be nike at this location and free people

I was looking for some sandals today, unfortunately I didn’t find any that I liked but I did find a great pair of heels for 35 $ that were originally almost 100 $. This store has about 3 – 4 rows for each shoe size. This was my first time ever in a discount store and it would say it was pretty pleasant. They had many items I had no idea they would carry… like beauty products and sunglasses. Worth it to check out!

I finally found the place where ugly unsold garments go to die! All this time I thought it was Ross, TJ Maxx, or Marshalls. I swear I’ve seen better «Nordstrom» clothes at Stein Mart at better prices. There are better Nordstrom Rack locations, I advise looking them up instead.

Not a bad place for brand name stuff, but honestly, the selections here aren’t as great as the other Nordstrom Racks I’ve been to, it’s kind of limited. I also am not a fan of having to dig for deals, but it has the name «rack» in it for a reason, right?
This place is a hit or miss, depending on what you’re looking for.

I really like this particular location. Great selection and I’ve found that employees are helpful and courteous. My last visit, I called and spoke with a manager to brag about how an employee treated me like I was the most important person in the store at that very moment. She was a superstar and excellent with customer service. Turned out she used to be a personal shopper at a high end boutique. That’s obviously where she picked up her world class service. They are lucky to have her.
One dislike would be that they’ve separated the designer shoes from their once secluded racks and now all mixed in. I liked how they used to be all in one area and that was my target zone as soon as I got there.
Overall, one of my favorite places to shop. :)

The store is very clean and organized and the people are generally nice and helpful. The store offers a larger selection of popular clothing lines. For my budget and I, it is a little too pricey to shop once a week (mind you my income hardly allows me to splurge on anything), however, when I do get a little wiggle room in my finances, I can always find something awesome to wear at the Rack.

Are you kidding? Only three stars? This is THE MOST organized Rack I’ve ever been to. It’s the most clean, and the items are well placed. Customer service of course, is great. They treat you with the same attentiveness as if it were the regular Nordstrom. The reason the ratings aren’t higher may be that. The store is not big enough? Nah. I basically do all of my clothes shopping here. Also, I’ve been to a few other franchises and the feeling was gross, like being in a frenzied and messy TJ Max or Ross. But this place feels classy.

How practical to have a Rack right off the Highway on the way back home from San Diego, said no man EVER, but being the good husband he is, he did.
It’s in a descent area with good shopping and food nearby which made it more worth stopping.
It’s a big, fairly new store, well stocked and lots of parking out front.
Inside, a madhouse like always, lines going on forever, don’t people get you can pay with any employee anywhere in the store? It has saved me hours. Bring patience and you will find great deals.

Stay clear from this store! It should be renamed to «NORDSTROM’S CRAP!» The clothing was WAY overpriced and there were stains on most items or threads coming out. Why bother?! I think ROSS has better clothing than this place!

So nice to have a rack in between Riverside and San Diego. I went on opening back and have been back a dozen times since. I wear size 12 clown shoes so its awesome that they not only carry 12 but 13 as well! I have bought boots, flats and heels!
Hooray Nordstrom Rack!

This location just opened a couple of weeks ago and can I just say it’s a GODSEND?
I’ve long said that the only thing missing in Temecula is a Nordy’s (check out my review of the Temecula mall:
). Nordstrom Rack isn’t Nordstrom but hey, it’s pretty damn close so I’ll take it. I came in opening night with my husband and it was busy, but not packed. The shoe section is GLORIOUSLY HUGE, and they even have a separate section for designer shoes like Coach, Tory Burch, etc. Thank God! Temecula needed more shoe stores badly! I ended up walking away with some gold Sperry boat shoes that I’m in love with, 25% off.
The men’s section in this store is hilariously tiny, but I’m really OK with that. My husband was able to find himself some Dockers (only $ 30) while I perused the rows and rows of designer handbags, sunglasses, jewelry, etc… He was even able to get into the fitting room!
I didn’t see anything I liked in the women’s clothing section this time, but I am not writing it off yet. It was well stocked and organized.
In short, I know this will become one of my favorite shopping destinations in Temecula! Thank you Nordstrom Rack for coming to Temecula!
