Food was awesome. Beer selection was good. Fair prices on the beer at $ 5 each was a really nice touch. Went in with the family on July 5th and it was understandably a bit slow but picked up while we had our meal. Seemed like a small family owned spot where it’s not all about speed and more about relaxing and enjoying your time there with some friends. Waitress was really nice and atmosphere was great! I will be visiting again as soon as I get another chance to head over. Easy 5 stars.

Creative and well executed sandwiches. French fries are crack like in their addictiveness. They seem to use quality ingredients. Nice beer selection. Friendly staff when I’ve been there. Priced fairly. Not really anything to complain about. I’m a little worried their location tucked towards the back might make it hard for people to stumble across it. But hopefully people check Unilocal and give them business. Gotta support good quality and inventive mom & pop joints!

The caprese panini was beyond delicious and the fries are to die for(seriously you will die and feel like you’ve gone to heaven:). Even yummy with a side of ranch. Not to mention, loved the excellent service my server gave. Felt very welcome here. Would probably return.

Panini came with a layer of oil on the bottom so thick it was hard to hold. The ingredients didn’t taste fresh. The paninis were more the size of tapas. The bill(per plate price) was very high despite having a coupon and only having one beverage on there. If you want some greasy bar food along with a fine sampling of local brews, this would be great. There’s only one tv, so don’t think football Sunday would be a good day. This business won’t survive for long, which is a total shame, as I had such high hopes for it.

Okay selection of beer on tap and great bottle inventory. A bit over priced. The sandwiches were extremely greasy and lacking the panini touch. Tried it twice I will not make it a third.

Panini & Hops is a cute, small, unassuming little place almost hidden in a parking lot off Jefferson. You can sit both indoor and outdoor and it seemed as though bands may sometimes play here. We decided to sit inside at the bar and was impressed with their super cool ceiling. Pay attention to the board with specials, you might find something neat. The beer list is good and they have a pretty large bottle selection. I had the meatball panini, which is actually a meat patty panini and it looked average but tasted way better than average. The fries were good and my husband liked the sausage he ordered as well. If you are in this area of Temecula looking for some food and a beer you should check it out.

Wow this place is not worth the price. My daughters corn dog was over cooked and took way too long. It was $ 6.99, which as far as kids meals go is kinda pricy and they don’t even have milk. My husband and I both ordered paninis which also took a little too long, considering it was a slow Tuesday at 2:00. The sandwiches were just ok definitely not worth the $ 11.99 and $ 12.99 that they’re charging. The selection of beer is ok but there are far better places to grab a drink. We won’t be going back.

Started a Saturday outing here with my wife. Almost had the place to ourselves for half an hour. Was really nice talking to the owner and his server/brew maiden :). They shared quite a few extra tasters and the owner even cracked a bottle of Chimay and split it with me when he heard I’d never tried it. Really genuine and comfortable atmosphere. Great beer selection and we split a panini that was delicious. would love to go back again.

I’ve come mostly for the Hops, sometimes for the Panini. I’ve tried the pirogues, the Maca Burger, which is shareable, and specials from their chalkboard. The food is okay, a little on the oily side, but they have a wide selection of bottled and draft brews with happy hour offerings. The first time I came in, I was served a different beer than what I asked for. I enjoy all kinds of brews, so it wasn’t too big of a deal, but considering the prices of imported bottles, it’s probably a good idea to double check before caps are popped. Other bartenders really know their stuff, so I guess it just depends on who is working the shift. The location is tucked inside of a strip mall and the décor reminds me of the old pubs in Europe, in line with their mostly European lineup. There are few local offerings as well; they have local drafts rotating on the taps. And if you’re willing to keep up with it, they have a loyalty program for their beers.

OMG Deep fried creamed corn!!! And all the local beers to taste! Service here was superb and the food was ridiculously delicious. We spent such a wonderful afternoon tasting so many local beers and then falling in love with the fried jalapeño raviolis and the paninis. We will be back!

We visited Panini and Hops due to a coupon we had and so glad we did. I’d not heard of this place and it’s tucked away, but actually a good location. Plenty of parking and a decent sized location. It wasn’t very busy when we arrived before 5 on a Saturday night and we sat at the bar. We each had the beer tasting flight of five tasters and I was sad that we had already eaten because the menu looked YUMMY, but we did get some corn nuggets which I want more more more of! They have a great selection of beers both on draft and in bottles and the selection rotates regularly. We chatted with the owner and he was really nice. The people in the bar were friendly, the servers were friendly. It was just a warm and inviting experience. We’re from out of town, but not far and we are driving though Temecula regularly, as well as having friends and family nearby that we are already planning to drag over there for a meal. DEFINITELYRECOMMEND!

Stopped in a few weeks ago after scoring a deal on groupon for beer tastings! This time we visited on a weekday so it was nice and slow. Unlike our last visit there was no waiting or time issues. :) Since our last visit the menu was updated a bit and for the better! This time we tried a couple of different sandwiches– one of them being the Holy Cow– and Holy Cow ITWASDELISH! I can’t remember what the other sandwich we had was but I remember eating and enjoying every bite! The server was also the bartender and owner I believe. He was super friendly and gave us tasting tips for our beer selections. Overall a great experience! We will definitely be back!

This place is the biggest secret I have up my sleeve right now when it comes to introducing people to new places to eat in Temecula. I really shouldn’t keep it a secret though… Amazing food! Do yourself a favor and try the Godfather, or any other panini for that matter. SO good.

Excellent beer choices — they have an outstanding assortment of craft beers on tap and a cooler full of bottled selections. ***My wife and I really enjoyed lunch(Charlie the Tina panini). ***As good as the IPA’s and food were, they were definitely outdone by the service… the owner surprised us with a $ 10 gift certificate and welcomed us back. Great choice!

This review is for the service offered at night. Normally, I go there weekly for lunch. Sam is a great guy and the service is excellent. Tonite, we had a table of 6. When we arrived the bartender said«I hope a server gets here at some point». 20 minutes later a waitress came to the table and complained that we had 4 split checks and took our drink order. When we asked to take our food order she said that it was more difficult to take the entire order at one time. I ordered the Italian pizza panini and she proceeded to to tell me that they don’t sell pizzas. I restated my order and politely showed the item offered on the menu. Horrible service at night. We left at 8:15 and still didn’t see the live music that was supposed to be there at 7. I love the place. Go for lunch. Avoid this place at night. I went back for another dinner service. My review sticks. Never again. Lunch service only when the owner is there. 4 and a half stars at lunch, but I bet this place will go the way of the dodo and Barley and Hops.

Paninis and beer, they do both of them very well. Delicious gourmet paninis We had an Italian steak which was real ribeye steak, and grilled to perfection crunchy on outside and soft inside. Also had a delicious Irish corned beef and sauerkraut. Many other tempting sandwiches like italian cuban, caprese„ meatball. The sandwiches come with maybe the best French fries ever. Some kind of light crunchy batter that tested home made, not battery and salty. Wonderful beer menu of many Socal brews. Great prices on local wines. Service was perfect with super friendly, pretty gals that never let our glasses go empty. Really liked it and will come here again soon.

Well, we went back last night to give this another shot as the owner let us know that the ‘offending’ employee was talked to and let go. and since pretty much every part of the bad experience was directly related to that guys service. it was only fair. When we walked in, it was empty, but it was a Sunday evening after a Charger game so we didn’t expect many people to be there. The music was playing, making for much better ‘ambience’. Food was once again extremely tasty. in fact, I love the Italian Cuban panini so much I’m not sure I’ll ever be willing to get anything else! This time my boyfriend got the ‘Godfather’ panini with a side of onion rings instead of french fries and loved it also. Very tasty and spicy, just the way he likes it. The beer list was much more current as there were only a couple of things unavailable this time. Our server, John, let us know up front if anything on it was out, so that was helpful. This place has some sort of beer and/or food special going almost every day of the week, so check it out and go during one of those times for the best ‘deal’! I think I saw that Thursdays are ‘ladies night’, so I’ll have to go back for that ;) I’m glad we gave Panini & Hops another chance as they stepped up to the plate and showed that they really are pretty awesome!

What should be said about P&H. It’s… Ok. Here’s my breakdown for the place. Atmosphere: 3⁄5 Beer & Wine selection: 4⁄5 Food: 2⁄5 Atmosphere: interesting place with a southern cowboy type vibe. There was a live band when I went and he was«ok». Staff was friendly and service was good. Beer & Wine: Great selection. Expect to see the locals here. Hanger 24, Black Market, Iron Fire, After Shock, just to name a few. I’m not much of a wine person, but it looked like they had a good selection. Food: Now to the disappointing part and the main reason for the 3⁄5 star review. As I said I was there on a Saturday night. When I got there at 8PM I noticed that most people were just drinking and not eating. I figured that it was after dinner time and most people were just not eating. I didn’t understand at the time that they probably knew something I didn’t. I ordered a chicken pesto panini and what I got was anything but. The panini itself SHOULD have been good. The pesto and flavours were actually pretty good. The panini itself? Not so much. The bread was over cooked and crunchy and the sandwich was slopped together with half the pesto, cheese and chicken outside of the bread. Honestly… I could have done better with a skillet and sandwich press at home. Overall: P&H is a good place to visit as long as you don’t order food. If you want a better place to have food and a drink, visit Crush & Brew or Luke’s which is right down the street.

The panini’s were quite good. It took a while to get our food though. The first drink I ordered was a cider and I got a beer. I then waited at least 5 minutes to get the correct drink. After the first round it was tough to get our young waitress to look our way, and it wasn’t at all busy. There was an acoustic musician playing on the patio that you could hear inside pretty loud. Fine and dandy, but they had music faintly playing on the inside speakers too! That made no sense and gave me a headache. I’m all for live music but get your stuff straight and make sure the inside music is off. Beer is overpriced, just like Barley and Hops was. Food was decent, just like Barley and Hops was. Service was nowhere near par, just like Barley and Hops’ was. The location is even odder than Barley and Hops was. Too many of the same things happening as was at Barley, and I’m afraid they might receive the same doom as Barley.
