Sheri is that animal whisperer you have been looking for. She checks in with a photo — and got the most surprisingly awesome photo of our skittish cat — who I said would not come out from under the bed. I found Sheri here and highly recommend her.

Sheri took care of our two Doxies — Two overnights and a day and a half of checkins. This was the first time my husband and I have left the boys with anyone outside of family. She went above and beyond for our boys! She sent adorable pictures, gave them special treats, and even left the house spotless — she even washed her linens before she left. We felt so at ease knowing they were so well looked after and loved! Thank you Sheri for treating our boys as if they were your own :)

There is not a better pet sitting service around. Sheri goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and has a true love for animals. Just moved to Temecula and needed a pet sitter, so I hit the lottery with Sheri. She sends you pictures to your phone of your pets when she is at your home and does lots of little extra things she doesn’t have to do. Her prices are very reasonable for the type of care she gives your pets. Sheri is very trustworthy and responsible so you never have to worry about anything. I absolutely love Sheri and can’t say enough good things about her. I first tried her out for an overnight visit while I was away for a wedding. I was so worried about my baby Benny but she sent updates and pictures throughout the night and I was able to relax knowing he was in good hands. I just recently had a work schedule change and hired Sheri to check in on him every afternoon during the week. She takes him on walks, gives him love and makes sure everything is good with him before she leaves. I highly recommend her… I mean, I don’t even have my family take care of doggy but I trust Sheri completely. We love her!!!

My husband recently deployed and we were planning on taking a week of pre deployment leave to see our family back on the East Coast. We have two pitbulls and being relatively new to the area not knowing a lot of people and all our usual dog watchers also going on pre deployment leave left us with no one to care for our animals. I found paws and claws online and quickly messaged them. They were prompt in their response but with it being such short notice were already booked. Sheri knew the situation we were in and said she would do everything she could go find a solution for us, and that she did! She had a friend who was interested in doing some pet sitting and lucky for us was willing to let us be her first shot at it!!! Laurie was amazing with our two dogs and cat, sending pictures and updates through out the day, and even taking care of our dogs ear when it became infected!!! I recommend them to anyone, and they are our go to people when we need care for our fur babies!!!

Absolutely amazing… moved to Temecula recently and was a little stressed about finding a pet sitter. My dogs instantly took to Sheri and Fonzie. Needless to say no more stress when I travel. 100% confident they are in good hands when I am gone.

She is amazing first and foremost as a friend, but incredible with my two small dogs.

We moved to Temecula about 4 months ago. Because we have three precious dogs, our first order of business was to find a good vet and a good pet sitter.
We found Sheri on Unilocal and her reviews were excellent so we called to set up an interview. We were comfortable with her after the interview so we decided to hire her. We have used her at least ½ a dozen times for day trips into San Diego and Orange County. We feel very sure that our pups are being well taken care of and spoiled while we are away. She sends us photos of the pups on her visits to let us know she is there taking care of business and she leaves the TV on to entertain the pups while we are away (even we didn’t think of that!). She is very easy to communicate with and responds immediately to texts messages and requests. You won’t be disappointed if you hire Sheri and your pets will love you for for it.

I found Sheri right here on Unilocal 6 months ago. My husband and I had just moved to Temecula and needed someone to care for our animals. The last time I boarded my cat, she went on a hunger strike for several days, so that was a last resort for us. Having someone come in the home saved Ruby from all that anxiety. We met with Sheri before signing a contract, and she was very professional and obviously loves animals. She also is quite knowledgeable about their care as she used to work for a veterinarian. This was very important as our pets are currently both on medications. Sheri not only took excellent care of our animals while away, but she went above and beyond by sending text messages with updates and pictures every day I was away! I was so pleased to know my kids were getting so much attention. She even put out our garbage and tidied our kitchen a bit which is just so wonderful when coming home from a trip. I would definitely recommend Sheri to anyone, as her pricing is comparable to boarding and your pets receive individual attention in their own environment. Sheri is a gem, I’m so glad we found her!

When we moved to Temecula last year, one of the things I was concerned with was finding a good petsitter for our «spirited» 66 pound pitbull, Crash. My husband and I are THOSE pet parents… we don’t have kids and therefore our dog is our life. We always left him with family or a pet sitter we’d known a long time back home, and here we were in a new place where we didn’t know anyone.
I relied on Unilocal (as I do for many things!) and found Sheri. I cannot believe our luck! Sheri has been amazing with Crash, and he really loves her too. Obviously he doesn’t tell us this, but his behavior when we get home is not clingy or pouty as it often was when we traveled in the past.
We’ve now used Sheri’s services 3 times, starting with a local trip in case anything happened. (Yes, I know I am paranoid!) I should never have worried. Everything has been perfect and Sheri is great about sending pictures and text updates. We just returned from a trip to Mexico, and since we couldn’t receive texts without paying an arm and a leg, I asked her to email updates, which she did faithfully! It is so great to be on a vacation and get a picture of your furry friend having so much fun, it just makes it so much more relaxing!
I would absolutely recommend Sheri to anyone in the area who wants their pet to be cared for as they would themselves.

I met Sheri through a mutual friend while trying to decide whether to board our 12 year old Min Schnauzer. Our pup is getting older and I was uncomfortable leaving him at a kennel when I knew he would be more comfortable at home. We were really lucky to find Sheri. She has really good instincts with pets, immediately sensing our doggie was nervous of new people as his eyesight isn’t great anymore. Not only did she come by twice a day to «visit» with Scotty, but she also took him to play at the dog park daily, took him on long walks, sent us several texts and pictures of his daily happenings and came two extra times we didn’t pay for just to make sure he was ok while we were traveling to and from our vacation. I have to admit, when we got home and Sheri was dropping him off from a visit to the dog park, our little Scotty was actually torn between coming to us and staying by Sheri’s side. That’s how I know he loved her very much. I’m just sorry it’s taken us so long to find a great pet sitter but I know when we travel in the future, he will be well taken care of.

We had recently moved to the area and needed to find a pet sitter to care for our babies while we were gone on a trip.
After calling and speaking with SEVERAL pet sitting companies that were not the right fit for us and definitely didn’t make us feel comfortable leaving our kids in their hands, we found Sheri!
She came by our house for a «get to know you» visit not only once, but twice before we left! All of our babies responded really well to her (even our rescue cat who typically runs and hides when someone new walks in the door).
While we were away, Sheri sent us texts and pictures every day so we would know how well they were doing and see what fun things they were up to. She spent ample time at our house on her visits giving them love and attention. She spoiled them rotten!
She also took care of our home. When we had a water leak in our front yard the day after we left, she notified us and went above and beyond to help us get the situation taken care of while we were away. She even came over to oversee things when the plumber arrived to fix the leak. This was way more than we would have asked for, and yet, she did it without hesitation.
Sometimes you just get really lucky and find the perfect pet sitter, someone you can trust in your home, and someone who’s going to treat your babies as if they were their own. We’re so glad we found Sheri and our babies are too!

We don’t go on vacation a lot because we are so nervous to leave our Jack Russell Terriors. I found Paws and Claws online and was skeptical but I decided to call and set up an interview with Sheri and Cheryl. These ladies are so great! I felt at ease as soon as they came in the house. We elected to have them stay overnight with the dogs and an extra visit in the afternoon. I can honestly say that for the first time that I can remember I was able to relax on vacation. We got daily updates from the «dogs» and towards the end of the week the family looked forward to seeing what the «dogs» were going to tell us! I can’t say enough about these ladies! We have now decided to schedule more vacations now that I have peace of mind!

This was the first time that we were leaving our puppy to go on vacation. We were very concerned that no one would care for her as we would. BUT, Sheri ensured that our Sadie had someone with her ²⁴⁄₇. Sadie was fed exactly to our specifications, taken to the dog park, played with and loved. We received a call everyday and text messages with pictures. I can’t say enough about the Paws N Claws team, we are so glad to have found the perfect company to take care of our dog. Thanks Sheri!

Shari is amazing! She truley cares. Bentley had to go through TPO surgery at seven months old. She was a life saver helping all the way with his recovery. She is dependable and knowelgedable. We are truley blessed to have Sheri in our life.

We rarely go on vacation because we hate leaving our two Boston Terriers! Thanks, now, to Sheri we will have no reservations about going somewhere. Sheri took such great care of our fur babies and made sure to keep us updated on how they were doing the whole time we were away.
