Needed to get a 9v rechargeable battery for a remote control for my sons RC car. Upon entering the store I was greeted immediately by sales associate Mike, I told him what I needed and he directed me to the location. The price of 1 rechargeable 9v battery was $ 14.99 ??? I checked online @Amazon (while still inside the store) and found a two pack of 9v rechargeable batteries for about half the price $ 7.45 with two day shipping…
Since I needed a battery immediately I opted out buying the rechargeable and instead I bought one 9v alkaline battery (which was still too expensive) for about $ 5. Mike rang me up and I was out the door in no time, I went to my car and ordered the 9v online from my smart phone.
All in all the customer service was nice but the store had terribly high prices and low inventory, this is definitely not the radio shack I used to know.
My advise to you unless you need something «immediately» and don’t want to wait in line in Walmart, target, Home Depot… etc try Radio shack.
My better advice is shop online and «pay a fraction» of the price Radio Shack charges!

Came in with some hdmi connection questions about my in car sterio and they were super helpful. Awesome customer service and very knowledgeable staff.

The heavy set guy was more worried bout watching the Tv then helping me. Unbelievable!

I came in because I had to set up an LED light in a toy sized tea house… I was under the gun with a couple hours before the project was due… I told the sales associate what needed to happen and he sprang into action, gathered up the materials, drew me a diagram, explained to me what I can change and how if I decided to down the road, and sent me on my way. Well, as a total LED novice I was able to do it in one shot, no hassles, no problems. Totally worth the few extra bucks I paid compared to buying elsewhere. Made my day!!!

One word: restrooms!!! How can an employer not provide restrooms for their employees or customers especially when it’s a family store with electronic toys (children can’t hold it). I am highly disappointed such a well known store chain would be that cheap to not provide such a necessary convienance… I know now that I would choose best buy or the mall for my shopping needs! The only reason I’m giving this establishment 3 stars is because the employees were very nice and they can’t help that their employers are that inconsiderate. Shame on radio shack.

They were nice to me and told me were my Thermal past was. Thanks guys.

I called ahead to check to see if they had an iPhone 4 in stock. The young lady who answered the phone said that they did and even offered to hold the phone. I arrived at the store within an hour and she told me that he district manager came by and took the phone from the store.
The employees in the store have been clueless in the past. When I have asked for help finding things like car cellphone charges, they are no better at finding the right one then I am. In fact, I found it in the store quicker than their own employee could.
Avoid this Radio Shack. It might be best to avoid them all. They sell yesterday’s stuff at over inflated prices.
