Sprouts Farmers Market

Went food shopping today and was pretty disappointed. All the rasberries had mold on them didnt notice tell i got home and had to throw them out. then bought one of those cookies by the front register which there always 99¢ and again didnt see tell I got home that one cookie was priced wrong @ 3.99 $ cuz it was marked as a 6 cookie bunch. Pretty upseting. Then I bought meat which it said on the lable that it was new york strip but the guy said that the tag was wrong and it wasnt new york but didnt even ask if I wanted what I originally asked for and just wrapped up whatever meat was under that tag and still charged me for the new york strip. Which we ate tonight and tasted horrible. Not to mention the old guy who rang me up which im sure was the manager didnt say hi or anything and seemed very annoyed and unhappy. Definitely never going back.

Went back recently and meats all looked good, including the lamb that I had wanted last time I reviewed this location.
Helpful staff brought me right to the place on the shelf where I was looking for a specific thing. Veggies, cheeses, all great and I am hoping that my prior visit not being so great was just a fluke.

I love Sprouts and even though it’s not close to my house, I make the trafficky drive to the store atleast once a week. Typically my experience is just fine and I’m in and out without any issues. Today was not that way. I was standing in line and while unloading my cart I overhead a weird conversation going on about calling for a «cart person» but that person wasn’t available so the cashier was told to call for someone else but she was told she really didn’t need to call for someone. This cashier seemed mad about this and when one of the ladies walked away, the cashier continued to talk about this and said «I’ll call whoever I want! I’ll go do it so I can get out of here!» Oh nice to say right in front of customers. Myself and 2 other customers were standing there as this was going on. I’ve seen this cashier before and she’s never friendly but I’ve never seen her arguing with customers.
Into my transaction, to make an even longer story short, the hostile cashier proceeded to argue with me for my whole check-​out process about BACON. I picked 2 packages of bacon that was on sale for $ 5.99 but rang up as $ 6.99. After leaving her register and coming back to tell me that price was for THIS bacon (as she’s holding a different brand) I let her know that price tag was above the bacon I picked out and the description matches what I picked. She said many things but one thing that stood out was «a customer put that tag there!» What?! I was thinking «are you serious?» Then my thoughts turned to «Why are you arguing with me? I’m not trying to get free food!» I kept saying «I seriously can’t believe you are arguing with me.» I kept asking for a manager, she wouldn’t get one. I told her I would just get the other bacon (that she brought because I was sick of this fight) and I would just call the store to speak with a manager. She didn’t like that at all. She got even more argumentative then. She told me she could take off $ 1 for one but couldn’t give me both packages for $ 5.99. She continued arguing. I kept asking for a manager. After I said for the 500^th time «I can’t believe you’re arguing with me about this» she finally said she could change it after huffing and puffing. I can’t even imagine what the customer behind me was thinking!
I went back to the bacon section and took pictures to show to a manager and explain what happened. Needless to say the manager was surprised she argued with me that much but then proceeded to give me both packages for $ 5.99. He also made it clear I shouldn’t have been put in this situation especially with an impatient toddler.
The cashier receives 2 stars. Sprouts and the manager I spoke with receives 5 stars.
I will continue to shop at Sprouts but will avoid this cashier in the future. Ain’t no body got time for arguing over bacon!

These days i do not like to shop from sprouts because last week i bought organic beans which i realized when i head at home they were not good looking all single beans has brown spots on them which i can not feed my baby boy it might have been caused stomach flu or some illness. and its not cheap for a pound. the other week i bought pineapple. then i realized at home it was unripe. i waited 2 days still not able to eat. wasted money.

Store is very clean and organized. I was relieved to see that they sold personal and household products. Glad to see many Items on sale, which made it more affordable than the other organic grocery store that offered barely any sale items or have a rewards program.

Clean, organized, fresh and appealing!!! Need I say more!!! The employees at this location are fun and friendly. The product offered is always mouthwatering, I enjoy the welcomed feeling I get as soon as I walk in the door. Kudos to the employees at this location.

I get my fresh turkey here every year for Thanksgiving. Even when it was Henry’s. Love the roasted chickens & fresh sushi.

We had a gift card issued by Sprouts and they would not accept it yesterday. They did not offer to call on their own card and assist in any way, just wanted us to use a regular credit credit card. Today the card was accepted and customer services seemed genuine to help.

I ran in yesterday to grab a quick sandwich and sadly it was horrible. The lady at the sandwich counter was very sweet and helpful but I ordered a panini and it came out cold :-(panini should be warm/​hot with melts yummy cheese. This is not what I got.
Everyone is always very nice there and I love the barrels with all of the different goodies.

Another serious issue with Sprouts. $ 30 of chicken BAD when I opened up the plastic wrap 24 hours after I bought it. Rosie’s Chicken owners will be getting a letter from me shortly. The Chicken expired Oct 5^th, this is Oct 3^rd! The product smelled like ammonia it was so rotten.
I do not know which little CFO demon at the corporate office thinks this is a cool way to make the Board money. But I’ll tell you what this is, its a law suit or FDA actionable event. Maybe «The Chief» CFO can step down, he seems to never make right decision on anything, even with their accounting system.

Great selection but the staff is inattentive. When you’re getting rung up they don’t even acknowledge you they just talk to their friends. Very unwelcoming.

Produce quality is hit or miss. Produce pricing is very fair to excellent. I’ve found many items go bad very quickly once I get home. Bananas, sweet corn and avocados especially go bad very fast. No complaints with potatoes, apples, celery, onions, radishes and most others. Many products from outside the USA. No way to tell how old, fresh they are.
I limit purchases of items from other departments:
Meat and deli items overpriced. Meat is poor quality and some cuts poorly trimmed, had a 2.5 pound cut of tri tip with a pound of fat tucked on the underside. I do not shop vitamins and supplements, so no idea there. Dairy and grocery overpriced. Some have complained about the staff, but I have no complaints in that regard except for a one time somewhat surly meatcutter.

I love this place! Friendly and helpful staff. My family member has diabetes and I was asking the deli if the BoarsHead sandwich meat had sugar and carbs and she went out of her way to show me a list and go through them all with me for the best choice and when she found out my family member was diabetic she even showed me two different brands of bread for diabetics. If I could give this place 100 stars I would. It’s clean there. The fruits and vegetables are fresh. I feel healthier just walking in the door.

My review is based on the staff at this place. They are nice enough when you’re shopping around, asking if you need help and what not. But the check out clerks are always incredibly rude. Today I forgot to write the code on the peanut butter pretzels for the cashier (my bad — it slipped my mind) and the cashier went out of her way to imply how annoyed she was and had to walk 10 feet to check what the code was. When she came back she said «yeah remember to write it down next time». Then she basically threw my groceries in the cart and my receipt at me. Way to make me feel incredibly uncomfortable. Completely over this place. I’ll stick to trader joes and barons.

I have mixed feelings on this location.
Pros: I enjoy their selection and that they sell a lot of natural products and organic produce.
Cons: The staff. Every time I proceed to check out I feel like the staff is rude. No greeting, throws your things in bags, and acts like you are bugging them. I have heard staff members curse on several occasions as well. I get when a bad word slips out here and there, but almost every time I come in? That says a tad bit about your staff.

The reason I withhold a final star is because of the service. Every time I come here the stockers are a little rude and short. The cashiers are nice. But I’ve asked for help on the floor and they disappear and don’t return. I love the food, store and prices though.

They get 5 stars for being the only health food store in town to open so early. I love that I have a place I can rely on and have a guilt free mid morning snack!

The produce is usually the cheapest around town but it can be hit or miss. Be careful when preparing it for meals though. I have noticed a lot of bugs while washing my lettuce or celery.

I Live within walking distance to this Sprouts, and I’ve been going here for several years (Back when it was called Henry’s Market Place.
I usually buy all of my supplements here because everything is fairly priced and easy to find.
The workers in the Vitamin Department are very friendly, and I never have to ask for help. They come to me whenever it seems like I’m searching for something.
I also love this store because it’s smaller than your average Sprouts Market Place. It’s kind of Cozy.

Disregarding the disappointing fact that Sprouts blatantly did/​does NOT support GMO labeling of ingredients, it is a decent market.
There are many great nutritional products and supplements available. The staff seems knowledgeable and pleasant. The pricing is fair and once in a while you’ll catch a good sale. I’m a fan of wild caught sardines, salmon, and tuna. At times at great pricing.
Unfortunately, the fact that Sprouts dismisses our welfare health wise, I limit my visits. I’d rather not fund the companies contributing to the deterioration of our societies health.
I throw more support to independent markets, such as Roots Market, that do support disclosing toxic ingredients and actually has an organic and grass-​fed deli, which Sprouts can’t claim.
It’s sad more people don’t understand the politics and special interests within. It affects us all.
