Went there last week. Smells horrible there and you organize your bottles & cans before so it goes by quicker but went by quick and easy. Hassle free! Unfortunately they don’t take wine bottles!!! I had a lot of those lol but oh well got 39 $ for bottles I’ve had saved up in my garage for like 6 months.

I just moved here from the east coast and it was my first experience recycling. I could not get any help at all! I had a coupon and the guy just said yeah without looking at it and I couldnt even tell what he was doing. I brought in over 200 pounds of electronics, 3 bins of plastic and 2 bins of aluminum cans. Total cash= $ 6.87. I tried to ask why and to help me understand the pricing and they just laughed and walked away. Yeah, no thanks.

Rip offs
They run your stuff over the scale then they start pulling out bottles with A little bit of liquid or bottles with a little bit a water and deduct it without giving you the money for the plastic
Be careful they will rip you off

It was my first time here. Make sure to
look out for the company truck… caught the truck on the second pass; U-​turn by the DMV. Maybe I caught station: ws3 at a bad time day /​time. Go figure, I went with this recycling center because of their Unilocal rating verses the others in the area.

****Go somewhere else that is honest****
I went to Temecula Recycling and I had the worst experience of any business that I have visited. I brought 150 pounds of scrap metal and 56 pounds of aluminum scrap. When they weighed my metal they had a total weight of 136 pounds. I told them that weight was wrong incorrect. Johnny told me he was the owner and the scales were correct and then walked away. Five minutes later he came back upset and yelling at me so, I left. I then took my scrap metal to another recycling center and the total weight was 206 pounds. I then called weights and measurements they went to check the scales. I asked them to call me back I was told the scales were correct however, the scales can be manipulated because the ramp plates can be moved to stop the scale from giving accurate measurements.

Temecula Recycle is a rip off!!! I brought in 11-​bins of plastic recyclables… The cash amount was $ 100. The following week, I brought in another 11-​bins of recyclables. This time, I was paid $ 66! They move the bins so fast off the scales you can’t keep track of your weight… I think their skimming off the top!

I brought clothing to recycle and a worker helped me get some containers and was very friendly. I loaded 4 shopping carts full of clothes only to have the manger/​owner (whoever he is) to come say «we don’t take clothes any more» and walk away. No sorry, no offer to help. I told him he has to take it off of his website and he shrugged his shoulders and went «eh». Workers are great, he’s not. Don’t go here and don’t go off of the website.

I’ve brought my recycle bottles here several times. I have experienced inconsistencies in my returns. I have received more money for less recyclables and vise versa. When I question it the remarks are hostile. I will take my business to Murrieta.

We just went there, bins were broken and no one came to help. So, we left without turning in our recyclables. It used to be good but we were very disappointed today.

This place is a gigantic rip off for wire recycling. I brought my wire here a few weeks ago. I had about 500 lbs of #14−18 copper. I was expecting about 600 bucks on the low end. They handed me 315. I looked at the receipt and it said .70 cents a lb. I thought it was really low but didn’t think much of it until a friend of mine told me he got 1.75 a lb at another place. Needless to say, Ill never bring anything here again.

Everyone is so nice here! It was our first time and we asked so many questions but they answered all of them while smiling.
Here’s what we learned:
Park in the back.
Grab some bins.
Separate your plastics (by number if you want to help out).
Separate your glass by brown, clear, and green.
Wine bottles and hard liquor have no crv but they will take the bottles if you bring them.
Separate your cans.
They also take papers and scrap metal.
Then you roll into the building (there’s carts in there if your bins don’t have wheels). Your material go on the left little weigh station and they sort out and weigh each category. You walk to the right side and give your drivers license and they give your money.
Easy!

Went there last week with the kids for the first time. Very big and easy to understand what to do. Very friendly and take any coupons you have (competitor coupons). Best place to go in Temecula. They take almost every kind of bottles, cans, glass etc! Other places pick what they want. Recycle means recycle everything. Will be going there from now on.

Parking: drive all the way to the back and park on the left.
How it works: sort your own bottles into their bins by glass or plastic. Bring gloves! When done, drag the bins into the warehouse. Inside the warehouse they will weigh the bins and redeem your cash!

Love this place. there are even coupons in the pennysaver too. They even recycle clothes too. When you have 5 kids, you tend to have tons of clothes. Great way of getting rid of clothes when the kids grow out of them:)

Had a little misunderstanding last week, I was told one price over the phone but paid a different one at the center. Talking to the owner «Charles» today he fixed their mistake and paid me the correct amount. Thank you «Charles» you are a honest man.
