I’ve come a couple times, but the last time, we were able to try the wine. They didn’t have a deal so we paid for 5 tastings. Everything was very sweet and their dessert combos(with chocolate liqueur) were disgusting. Even though they’re the more famous one, the other wineries like Weins has 2 for 1 coupons where they also allow you to keep the classes and superior wines.

Loved this place! It was our first stop when we went wine tasting and it was definitely the busiest, which is a good sign. The place was beautiful and even though they weren’t doing wine tours since it was mid-week, they still let us walk around and check out the place. They are known for their almond champagne and had the most champagnes on their tasting menu than the other places. Although I didn’t care for the almond champagne, I absolutely LOVED the orange mimosa champagne and haven’t stopped talking about it all week. Can’t wait to go back and buy more bottles! Thinking about becoming s member of the wine club here for the free tastings since I’ll definitely be buying more of the champagne.

Huge expansive grounds with lots of places to chill out and relax. This place has so many perks; lots of tasting stations, free bottle engraving with purchase, wine slushies, great food at the café, lots of places to wander around. The wine slushies are amazing, although maybe not for the true wine lover. Had the quail wings at the creekside grille and they were delicious. Wish I had more to write about this place but it was our 3rd wine stop and the slushies definitely blurred my thinking. Will definitely be back again. Taking one star away simply because the place was packed, more like a day club than a traditional winery, although I wish I could just subtract a ½ star.

The lady with the nose ring serving in the outside lounge was so rude… she should not be in the service industry. They ran out of cheese before 3 on a Sunday and did not have enough wine slushies to serve their guests. Almond sparking wine is delicious though!

Absolutely loved it! My husband and I did a guided horseback trail ride and wine tasting. There’s a groupon available which at first seemed s bit costly, but in the end was well worth it($ 149). The grounds were huge and absolutely beautiful. The girl that guided us was young, but seemed highly experienced and very comfortable around horses and humans. The winery is beautiful, a very relaxed setting, quite soft music playing, people around were enjoying their day. There’s even a playground for kids! As for the wine, it was delicious! I’m not a wine expert, but I can say with certainty that I enjoyed all of my tastings, but 1. We will definitely be returning!

Amazing venue! Very open. Live music was a nice touch! Came here on a Saturday. $ 20 for 5 tastings. Champagne slushies were refreshing… The suicide was the name. It had a mixture of all 3 flavors; sangria, almond & peach; topped with red wine– $ 20.03 for 2. Minus one star for the food. They sell the food at the same stand as the slushies. There is also a restaurant that we did not try. Now onto the food: Chili bowl was very dry. Hummus plate was okay– nothing special. Cheese platter came with crackers, honey, and dried fruit. The best thing there was the pulled pork sandwich because it came with extra sauce on the side which moistened it up a bit. I’ll have to give this place another try; maybe dine in at the restaurant instead. Looks like it could be a beautiful venue for a wedding. Until next time! Cheers! :)

The best sparkling wine ever, Sunday brunch is the best winery experience ever, especially if Terri is your server. Thank you for the memories.

Review is on their Sunday Brunch Came here last Sunday for brunch with a party of 7. We called a few days earlier to make reservations. It wasn’t too busy when we first got there at 10:30 am, but by noon, it looked like there was a wait. If you just get the brunch without alcohol, its around $ 32 If you get brunch with bottomless drinks, its around $ 42 Alcohol included are mimosa, peach bellini, sangria, beer It is a buffet. They’ve got a good selection of seafood, crab legs, shrimp cocktail, raw oysters, mussels… YUM!!! They also have a carving station, turkey and prime rib or some kind of roast. They got a mini chocolate fountain too. Lots of options here! Omelette bar, hot foods, coffee station… I walked away stuffed!

This is a great place to go if you’re in a group with friends who have never been wine tasting. It’s like the Disneyland of wineries, very commercialized, guided tours, pricey, and awesome. I’ve been to Wilson probably 10 times, most recently on Saturday with 10 other girls. Pros: they allow limos, you can e-mail them for tasting reservations if you are too lazy to call like me, they have great customer service and are always quick to respond(Ryan McCormick was very friendly and helpful), they have a restaurant, they have tons of bathrooms, they have great drinking souvenirs, they have guided tours, the grounds are beautiful and great for roaming around with a glass of wine and taking pictures, the wines are pretty decent, especially the white merlot. Cons: there is only one. There were 14 of us on the guided tour, then midway 10 more people joined. It slowed everything down quite a bit which was a bummer since we were on strict schedule with our limo and it was crowded and impersonal. I felt like I was on a field trip. We didn’t have time for the last tasting or time to purchase anything in the gift shop. Marti was an excellent tour guide and I know it wasn’t her fault.

This place gets incredibly crowded. There was a ten minute wait just to buy a tasting ticket. It’s also incredibly loud, and people seem quite rushed and rude — funny how crowds seem to bring out the worst in people. It feels like a winery had a baby with Costco or something. Good wines, though nothing amazing. Worth another star if it was only less hectic.

A bigger, more commercialized winery, but the grounds are beautiful. There’s a huge area where you can host a big wedding ceremony. I bet it’s a beautiful location for a wedding. Their wines are ok, we bought a bottle of Merlot to share after tasting a few(skip the tasting and just buy a bottle to share with friends– much cheaper). We enjoyed the sun, brought our own crackers, frusits and cheese, and just people watch. I really did enjoy this winery because we were able to walk around, explore their vineyard, pond, bridge, and the barrel decoration. I would come back here again.

This review was based on the wine tasting experience. I was heading to Temecula for a wedding, and I definitely wanted to go wine tasting while I was there. A lot of people I had talked to recommended trying Wilson Creek. So I went with my boyfriend and another couple. We had such a great time here! You get 5 tastings for $ 20, pretty standard pricing for a wine tasting. You try the wines at a bar and they have a few servers pouring the wines. Our personal favorite was May. What a gem! She was so attentive to our orders, and was a great storyteller. She kept us entertained for 2 hours, with funny and heartwarming stories. The group of us all have different preferences when it comes to wine. My boyfriend is a new wine drinker so he prefers sweet and sparkling wines. I love whites(any kind!), and the couple we went with love reds. All of us were very satisfied with the taste of each wine. My boyfriend loved the Peach Bellini, the Muscat Canelli, and the Almond champagne. My favorites were the«Oh Dear» Chardonnay and the White Cabernet. We also purchased these chocolate shots that looked like they were straight out of Willie Wonka’s Chocolate factory. It was a shot of almond champagne topped with Chocolate liquor in a chocolate cup! I could get chocolate wasted on those. Yum! Because of May we joined their wine club, you just have to commit to buying a case(12 wines) every 6 months. Easy enough! Plus, you get free tastings for up to 4 people every time you visit. SOLD! The reason I knocked them down one star was because I wish the tasting room had tables or chairs to sit down at while tasting. I also wish they offered cheese and meat plates, but maybe they had something like that over at their restaurant, which I want to try next time I go.

OMG — I’ve been to Temecula a ton of times, but why have I never visited Wilson Creek until the end of 2015? Not only is it a beautiful winery where special events(weddings, marathons, etc) are hosted, but they have beautiful landscaping and places to picnic. I throughly enjoyed the wine tastings experience and browsing the cute gift shop items. If you’ve never tried their almond champagne, it’s a must try. Also, they have other variations of champagne like a Bellini version! One of my favorite tastings was the White Chardonnay, which tasted nothing like a chardonnay in my opinion. As a person who cannot swallow chardonnay, I found this sweet finishing White Chardonnay very refreshing and with a smooth finish. I loved it so much I brought a few bottles home. Parking was plentiful in their lot and their winery was easy to find. You must come visit if you are ever in Temecula! Unilocal 100 Challenge — 87 of 100

All righ!!! Servicio y comida perfectos, en un sitio muy agradable. El vino, tras la cata previa, lo tienes en la mesa, en copa(el triple de capacidad), o en botella, a un precio de 10. Los platos bien presentados y abundantes. Para volver.

One of the nicer wineries I’ve been to in Temecula. We started our wine tasting on the Tuesday after Labor Day so by no means was it crowded. We walked right up to the counter and were promptly greeted, purchased two tastings for $ 15 each and each of us were given 5 tickets. I felt like Charlie from the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, only five times luckier! This was actually the first time I’ve seen a ticketing system being used so it was a bit of a surprise. A bigger surprise to me was how much I liked their white and sparkling wines, specifically their white cab and almond champagne! I mean, I read the reviews and wanted to see if the hype was true. Dudes… shit was LEGIT — so much so we ended up taking two bottles of each home. In retrospect I wish we had bought more. Only one of my choices of my wine flight was a miss for me: Wilson Creek Reserve Decadencia® Chocolate Dessert Wine. Forget this one has won multiple gold medals, my pallet just did not like the taste of it. Overall I am just not a dessert wine lover or liker matter of fact. Anyway, service wasn’t spectacular but the staff managed to get us what we needed, I can’t quite put my thumb on it but service did not come across as personable or rude, it was just kind of. mundane, kind of like when you bite into something that looks super delicious but doesn’t taste like anything and you think, «oh.» Looking past that, their outdoor grounds is beautiful and worth checking out. You can lounge around outside if the weather is nice, gaze into the tiny little creek and spy on some crawfish or tadpoles or just enjoy your buzz in the semi-great outdoors. I did also purchase a couple of kitchen towels here that read: Drink up bitches! I already know who I am giving those to for Christmas this year :) Bottom line: Wilson Creek has brought me back to the light side and won me over with their white + sparkling wines, heck ya I’ll be back!

The tasting room is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 7 days a week. Tasting fee is $ 15 per person weekdays & $ 20 per person Saturday, Sunday & holidays. I visited Temecula last weekend with a group of girlfriends from LA. I didn’t think I’d like this huge winery(we had just ditched South Coast Winery because of the crowds inside the tasting room). The parking here is a bit ick as it’s packed(on weekends at least) and it’s all dirt. Luckily, there’s a super nice guy driving a large golf cart offering you assistance to get to the front. The grounds are huge and people seemed to be casually roaming around. It was almost like being in a friend’s super huge backyard or something. The tasting room itself is quite grand and nicely air conditioned. The pours here, at least by Patricia, were the most generous. We loved her as she was attentive and knew her wines. Three of us bought bottles of wines here(and no where else) thanks to her. I know this sounds lame but they were they only winery where I saw REAL grapes growing on real vines. It was so incredibly fun picking a bunch and trying the grapes for taste & feel. This just made the whole experience at Wilson Creek much more memorable than the other wineries we tried that day. I’d come back to explore the winery a bit more. I heard their brunch isn’t too bad either.

Came here for my birthday celebration with my best friends. We arrived a little before they opened which was great because we got to walk around the area before opening. We did the 5 taste testers because it came with our horse back riding tour which was right up the street from the winery(Purchased from Groupon). They had a variety of wines from white, red, desserts, and sparkling! After our testers we decided to get a bottle which was the known favorite White Cabernet Sauvignon — this wine isn’t dry and if you like sweet this is the perfect choice! The winery had plenty of seatings outside. If you were to get hungry they have a restaurant right across and a bar that serves snacks and wine slushes! I do plan on coming back for future events.

We decided to go winery hopping for a friend’s birthday. We started at this one first, and I can say that out of the four wineries that we visited in one day, that this was my favorite one. The only thing that I didn’t like is their dirt parking lot. It gets super dusty with all the cars driving around and your car WILL get covered in dirt by the time you leave. Their establishment is beautiful. Multiple buildings with different activities. You have the brunch buffet, live music, wine tasting, and grape gardens. The grape gardens are great for photos! We started off with a Sunday brunch buffet. It is $ 32 a person. We also got a special birthday bottle of Almond champagne. It was absolutely delicious! The buffet was pretty good. Seafood(freshly cracked raw oysters, crab legs), rotisserie(turkey, pork), breakfast(bacon, quiche, freshly made scrambled eggs, waffles), salads, and desserts. Wine tasting(weekends) — $ 20 for 5 tastings The tasting room is really cool. Multiple«bars» or counters where you can order your wines from a list. They also have a bar counter outside as well. But it’s better inside because of air conditioning. Most of the bartenders will let you know if a wine is really sweet or dry. NOTE: You use the same wine cup for all your tastings/drinks. So make sure you don’t forget where you put your cup. Depending on bartender, some pour more, and some pour less. I especially loved many of their white, sweet and dessert wines. My favorite wines: + Angelica Cream Sherry + Peach Bellini + Roussanne + Late Harvest«Solera» Chardonnay I would definitely love to come back here again. It was really fun.
