It was a pleasure meeting Ron and discussing business over a GREAT cup of coffee. While the location is a bit hidden, it is those hidden places that are gems. Amazing coffee and just a welcoming place to sip your Joe.

Hidden gem! Seriously, if you’re serious about coffee then look no further. The owner, Ron Cortez, is passionate about coffee and stands by his product. Truly refreshing to meet people that believe 100% in their product.

Love it here! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. It isn’t the kind of place you would go to hang out all day(though you can definitely get a beverage and enjoy it there) just due to the size and production aspect, but it’s well worth the visit. I stopped in for some samples, got a tour, and went home with a pound of quality beans roasted on site. Definitely recommend!

Amazingly delicious coffee, cool atmosphere, and very nice staff. These people really know their coffee and are more than willing to find out the perfect coffee for you. This isn’t a sit down and chill all day type of place. But, if you brew at home and want the best coffee in metro Phoenix than this little spot is where you’ll find it. They do have a coffee bar that features a ton of options so definitely sit down, sip, and chat for a bit while waiting for your pound of freshly ground beans.

Fantastic! Had Keisha’s chicken salad sandwich. It was the BEST! The latte was amazing too! Run, don’t walk, to Cortez Coffee!

Maybe the best beans in the valley. Small batch roasted with lots of options in addition to their normal offerings. I had some Ethiopian cheffe that floored me. You can pick up the beans at a lot of the weekly farmers markets. Beans are also available at then physical location in tempe. Be aware this location is mostly here for roasting and isn’t a typical coffee shop. They aren’t always serving coffee so if you want a latte you should call first and make sure someone is there to make it. If you do go to buy beans, which is why you should be there, expect to be impressed. They let you smell and taste whatever you want and really work to find you something you will enjoy. Go get some beans!

I’ve been getting coffee from Ron Cortez for years. He is very knowledgable and loves teaching people about coffee. The location is kind of hidden in a strip-warehouse, but once you step inside you can tell it’s the real deal. Usually there are a few different single origin and blends available. I prefer African coffees, but he also has a Sumatra that I like. They sell bags of coffee and refrigerated bottles of cold brew. Occasionally you can get a pour-over or an espresso, but most people come here to get coffee to take home.

Amazing service. They roast their own beans and take great care in providing the best coffee possible
