Great place with a lot of options and knowledgable staff. Most of the staff is very helpful but a few would rather not be bothered. I’ve purchased several drones and RC cars here over the years and been very happy. Prices are very reasonable and sometimes lower than I’ve found online. But if you have them build your drone beware, they charge $ 300 per hour! As if it were brain surgery performed by Stanford Grad surgeons? Overall this is one of the better places around and worth the drive if you live further away.

Came here today for a battery. Place has a good selection of various stuff. They seemed to be very knowledgeable and I would return if I need more stuff. One thing that is cool they have a lot of different rc cars and trucks un-​boxed so you can see what your getting. I have not seen that in any other places unless they are in a glass cage or behind the counter.

This is the best place in the east valley for quadcopter ANYTHING. I’ve been into quads for about a year now and they have helped me along with my learning and my 3 quads now flying. They are helpful when you have problems, they attempt to price match to the best of their ability and their prices aren’t too far from the web prices. I would much rather support a local hobby store than a web store. They allow me to do that. They stay up to date with the newest items for larger quads and the recent 250 craze. They are a bit of a drive for me but it’s worth it.

These guys are great and knowledgeable about RC Quadcopters. The team is very helpful, stepped me through the assembly of a Nighthawk 250, and was very patient. I bought everything through them.
I will be a repeat customer.

I love this place! Every time I walk in they are so friendly. I do go there at least once a week and now I know pretty much everyone in there. If I am not sure what I need they are really good at helping me out and knowing what I need for my rc planes!

Great hobby shop, nearly exclusive to RC. Customer service was great, helped me find everything I needed to fix a plane, a quad, and a nitro truck in one trip. Recommendations were based on personal experience, and they did not just try to sell me the most expensive option as the «best». I will be back, probably many many times. Wish they were open a little later.

This was the first RC store I had ever been in and it amazed me, it was pretty damn cool. As soon as I walked in they asked me if I needed anything and helped me out. They were nice and really seemed to know their stuff. I would recommend going here.

I brought in my recently crashed Phantom 2 w/​Zenmuse Gimbal and the staff there was more than willing to help me bring it back to health. From the extent of the damage I was convinced that I was going to have to buy a whole new kit. After a couple minutes after some inspection and adjustments I was back up and running for almost nothing. Since I was prepared to spend some money they helped me get into a starter RC airplane (Sport Cub S). They answered all of my questions and remained engaged through the entire interaction. I see that they get some mixed reviews but my experience was excellent.

Used to be my hobby store of choice. I bought several RC cars and parts from them. I have also referred people there to buy drones and RC cars. I now cannot recommend Hobby Action. Must be under a lot of pressure these days. Customer service is now nonexistent and if you are a novice forget about it. Yes, they have a lot of parts but their customer service is horrible. Spoke to the owner about it today and his favorite word is policy and he was raising his voice at me. Not customer friendly. I walked out and will never be back. Several other stores understand how to treat a loyal customer.

Hobby action employees are extremely disrespectful. They refuse to work with loyal customers. I bought three planes and came in to return an unused remote and they refuse to even exchange it. Avoid this hobby shop. Keep your hobby fun and interesting by avoiding this place. Terrible customer service. If you don’t know anything hobby don’t expect to learn it here. They don’t want to explain it either. I heard one of the managers talking about their contracts for drones with different companies. They make their money off heli drones and if your there for anything else, they just don’t care. Try hobby town USA or k&c hobby

Called them looking for parts for my JATO 3.3 but they didn’t have the parts I needed but they were nice enough to refer me to hobby town. Nice people to bad they didn’t have my parts.

So I went in today just to see what they had. They had my rims and tire combo for 21.99 which is cheaper than rc
… They are really nice also and helpful, I’ll be back for sure.

I could not be more impressed with this shop. They are primarily dedicated to R/​C stuff so don’t expect to find your crochet needles and hemp necklaces here. I called looking for a battery for my DJI Phantom drone and they were so helpful and professional I have stopped ordering online parts and I now buy exclusively from them. They do great work (they were even building some professional drones for a movie studio when I was in there).
