Toys R Us

The Arizona Mills mall Toys R Us location is a mini version similar to what a Kay B Toy Store was like. Jam packed with toys and games for all ages of childhood. This location has always had the friendliest staff that immediately greet you when you walk through the door. They are always behind the register but will answer any questions you may have. I have always been able to find what I needed. They have granted my coupons at this location as well. The store is always neat and order so you will never have trouble finding anything. I can’t say this is an actual discount store because there prices are similar to what I would find in one of the usual TRU stores but you will always see window bargains to get you through the door and in the main entrance of the store.

I buy a plane with a remote but when I try it doesn’t work I go back to returned. I ask girl she work at the store to give me another one, she told me «sorry we are out «but when I go check by my self I found like 10 of planes, I take one to switch with my old plane, I told here I found one and still u have 9 left. A guy he work at store maybe his manager he told me No don’t take it again a lot of customers they bring it back, I told him ok thank you but why u still have it, u have to take it don’t sell it anymore, why i have to drive 30 min and waste my time. He told me «sorry don’t ask for discount but if u want to buy same thing good buy it expensive and I know u are cheap and save yr money better for u, we know we sell same bad games with half price just to attract people but they get they refund, with bad altitude bad customers service. I hope the owner know that.

Dropped into this store looking for an Angry Birds Star Wars thing for my nephew. We were so impressed by my man Drew’s Customer Service, and patience, I’d brave another Black Friday to shop here again. All other employees seem to be too busy to help. Drew gets five Stars.

This Toys R Us is located at Arizona Mills Mall and since I rarely go AZ Mills and hate the traffic gridlock in that area, I tried to call ahead to see if they had the specific toys I was looking for, but all you get is a recording with the hours the store is open, no actual human answers the phone.
So, I get in my car and fight the traffic to see if they have what I am looking for. This is supposed to be their discount store for the chain, but the prices were only about 10% less than the full price at other stores. One item I was looking for was some type of Gund stuffed animal that would be suitable for my 1 year old granddaughter and some Fisher Price furniture and figurines for my 4 year old granddaughter’s dollhouse. They didn’t have any of the items I was looking for.
The only employee in the store seemed busy writing something in a notebook and when I asked some questions about these products he seemed uninterested. There was another customer in the store who clearly was also having trouble finding what she was looking for either and the employee seemed oblivious to her presence.
We both left without making a purchase. Poor customer service, limited selection of toys, and confusing layout that makes finding what you need impossible adds up to a less than acceptable toy shopping experience.
