I just drove 30 minutes to find a paper taped to the window with their new hours. NO updates on the website, NO info on their voicemail– just a generic machine message«leave a message». Kinda unprofessional & really unhelpful.

This is a cool place. I picked up a bed frame for a spare room for 100 $. Same one was 170 $ on Amazon. Its basically a warehouse full of different things. Some new some scratch and dent. Dont expect a department store with sales people or anything like that. When you walk in it looks like a stockroom. But if they have what your looking you will probably save some money.

Im still loving the savings and customer service I get from shopping here. I just bought a home one year ago and never imagined I could afford to decorate it as nice as a have. I owe it all to the Curb!

Great little find! Tons and tons of awesome products at reasonable prices. It’s a scratch and dent kind of place — without all the scratches and dents! Very impressed with the merchandise, selection, staff and cleanliness of the store. Our new go-to!

These guys delivered two couches to my house. The couches arrived as described for a reasonable delivery fee, and the delivery guys were good at what they did and polite.

Was referred to this place by a friend when I was searching for a portable air conditioner. Went down to check it out(since I have never been to a place like this) and it is just what he said… items that have been reclaimed that are out of box, or missing a little part here or there with a largely discounted price tag. They had all sorts of things including. you guessed it. plenty of portable air conditioners. They had all the parts I needed except for the box, even the manual! Though the unit they sold me ended up having a crack in the bottom tray and didn’t work as well as I had wanted, their 30-day return policy was put to good use, no questions asked. They also gave me an extra 10% off for liking their Facebook page! Woot! Worth checking out.

I visited today and there was only 1 other customer in the store — probably bc there is no AC so it can get a little warm! Mostly all the items for sale are still in the box, so you have to individually inspect each box to figure out what is inside. They have a LOT of lighting fixtures, microwaves, doors, and random construction-type supplies. I was looking for a coffee table and they only had a few, I would say less than 10. A lot of the furniture in boxes is from Walmart. None of the deals seemed that great to me. For example, there was an upholstered headboard for sale for $ 89.00, but when I looked it up online I could have bought a new one for $ 119 from Walmart, and that would have included free shipping to my house. That’s not even a full 30% off the price(and they advertise their prices as 30−70% off store price). So, since I didn’t see many good deals, I probably won’t return. On the plus side, the employees were really friendly.

A curious place. The staff is nerdy and friendly. There are some stupendous buys… everything has been previously purchased, and then returned. When that happens, the stuff is wholesaled. The Curb sells it. Enjoy checking them out.

I’m confused by the Negative Nancy reviews below. I too visited the store after the New Year spot on the news. It was crowded but I did not go in expecting a traditional store setting just yet either. Most discount stores are not going to have a box store set-up. I bumped into the owner and asked him about the store and concept and he explained the location was new and still being put into place. I had no idea the larger box stores re-sold returns for places like The Curb to purchase/sell. It’s pretty cool. I have since been back several times. I too purchased a microwave. I have also purchased office and bedroom furniture at great discounts. My mom was excited to get her Dyson too. The organization is coming together and employees are even distinguishable from customers with vests now. So I give it 5 stars! I have gotten what I am looking for so far.

The Curb(BESTSECRET in town) fantastic shopping experience. I could not believe the outstanding prices on all there goods. Premium, quality products at bargain basement prices. Great service and customer oriented people. I will look there before making my final purchase decision.

The Curb has potential to become a worthwhile store if your in the market for appliances, home furnishing, TVs, and even sporting goods. The main problem with the business is they don’t seem prepared and organized well enough to take on the current customer load, let alone any future growth. The items seem to be grouped well enough, but the flow feels like they didn’t think the foot traffic out well enough. Parking is another example of this as finding a spot just before noon was almost impossible. I ended up parking in the street next to one of several«No Parking» signs. As for the quality of items. Most everything I looked at seemed to be in decent enough shape that I would buy it. The prices on some items however seemed a bit on the high side for exactly what you are getting. TVs for example I would touch with a 40 foot pole! Window blinds on the other hand seemed fairly reasonable. I hope this is just a growing pains, working the kinks out phase they are going through. I probably will give them another shot in about six months or so, but coming all the way from Surprise, I would need to see noticeable improvement to become a semi regular shopper.

The Curb claims that it is a retail return center(returned opened merchandise from major retailers that cannot be returned to stock since it was opened) at 30−70% off full retail prices. It was featured on the local news and when I went to their web page I saw a microwave oven that interested me. My first impression was that there was really no where to park my car. The building is shared with another business and all the parking spots were full of cars, so I had to park behind the building in the dirt. The inside of the building is a disorganized, crowded small space with a small office just to one side of the entrance. The shopping experience was similar to trying to sort through some hoarder’s over-stuffed garage. I finally found the microwaves. The opened ones looked in rougher shape that the 8 year old counter top Sharp I was planning on replacing. I found exactly ONE sealed box with the microwave advertised on their web site. The box looked like someone had already speared it with a forklift. There was one person checking out customers at the counter next to the entrance to the store. I could not find anyone to help me, so even if I had decided to buy this product, it was too heavy for me to lift and without help I would not have been able to get this product to my car. Overall, an extremely disappointing shopping experience. I will not return.
