One Hour Nails

These ladies were friendly, fast, & thorough! I came in on Christmas Eve for some festive holiday nails and only had to wait ten minutes for them to take me. I got great service at a great price. I felt really comfortable there. I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town.

Very bad experience with Vivian. Came in for Gel… the end result… uneven polish, and uneven nails!!! Never coming back again. I never write reviews… but can’t help but have to warn those to stay away!

This place is pretty amazing! Prices for regular medi pedi is $ 20 + $ 3 for gel removal. The ladies both took their time and took over an hour (they were both working on me simultaneously). Julie was the one that did my mani. She was really gentle and I really enjoyed it. Usually I don’t get mani because the ladies are rough and I have baby nails so you have to be meticulous and careful to do a good job. I didn’t get a name for the lady who did my pedi. She was excellent. I’ve been to both holly and candy nails down the street and they were definitely not as good as the ladies here. My only complaint is that the paint job wasn’t as great. I should have asked for an extra coat since the color I chose was kind of see through. But that’s an easy fix.
Gel mani solid color is $ 20. Their prices are great and they accept visa and MasterCard, no American Express. Cash tip is preferred and recommended. They work hard for that tip.
It says they opened until 7pm but they will stay late for you which is much appreciated.

This is a really good place to get your nails done especially when you’re in a hurry. It took them only 1 hour to do my gel manicure (Vin) and regular pedicure (Kim). I’m a perfectionist, and they did a really good job! We’ll definitely be coming here for my nails from now on.

It was my first time checking out this nail salon since I was in the area & was in need to get my nails done. Nice environment & was greeted by one of the staff when I walked in. I felt a bit awkward by the other customers because I was the youngest customer there at the time. it’s my day off! I asked for gel nails & my nail tech showed me samples to choose from, but while I was choosing a color, she insisted I try to go for the French manicure type of gel nails so my nails [polish] won’t look too noticeable while it grows out. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I love how my nails turned out in the end. I’ll stop by again whenever I’m in the area in the near future.

I absolutely LOVE this nail salon!!! I have been coming here for over 10 years now! I recently moved to Upland, and I still drive all the way to Temple City to come to this salon!!! MJ is hands down THE best nail tech I have ever had the privilege of working with, and I have worked with a LOT of different men and women nail techs! She is high quality! She doesn’t make my nails too thick or too thin, she doesn’t leave any crap underneath them, and she always makes sure you leave 100% satisfied with your nails! Also, she is the only one I trust to touch my eye brows since she doesn’t make them too small or a weird shape like other people have done to me in the past! She does amazing eyebrows! My friends all started coming here to see her for their brows! I would highly recommend this salon for all of your pampering needs!

This review is for Vivian’s work. She did a mediocre job on my nails. I had a gel manicure with 2 skeleton designs (in honor of Halloween & 2 glitter coated nails. The total was $ 25. Price was fair, but the work thooo, i’m never coming back, not to her at least.
Her personality was bland, she was not friendly nor welcoming, not that I’m interested in conversation but I mean, do you need be so dry? Crack a smile at least.
On to the actual work. F-​. Her skeleton design was sloppy, she smushed some of the polish causing the face to seem old & scratched. She also went outside of my cuticles & painted over them. Ahe was rushing & didn’t pay attb to detail. My left hand looks shiny and my right has a dull finish.
Get it together lady, do your job with a little passion.

The ladies are all so nice here and the mani/​pedi I got was on the better side of what I’ve experienced lately. My usual place is delacey nails and this is the first time I’ve tried something close to home after having bad experiences at color nails.
I docked a star because there aren’t my usual choices for colors here, but next time I’ll bring my own!

I basically hate manicures and pedicures, but love the result. With that being said, I will say that I only trust one person to touch my toes, Julie! She’s super gentle and nice, and understands the anxiety I get while she’s giving me a pedicure. I’ve gone to One Hr Nails for about 10 years now and can say that they have great service and prices.

Have been loyal to this nail shop for about 15 years. It’s the only place where my sister, mom, and I will get a pedicure (by Julie). The girls are friendly, prices are fair, and I like that I can also get waxed here. They take appointments and have a good color selection.

I’m gonna update my review to 5 stars. because. i just don’t trust ANYWHERE else.
I’ve had my moments of being spontaneous and trying other nail spots… and i ALWAYS REGRET it.
I don’t have a favorite nail tech, they all do a good job. i love them all! =)

I’ve been here twice for a Mani/​pedi the pedicure was really good but the lady who did the pedicure which also did my Mani did not know how to Polish. The color was not smooth I asked to change the color because I thought maybe it was the Polish and the 2^nd Polish came out the same! The second time I went another lady did the pedicure and I had to tell her what to do. I decided to give it another try and had another lady do my Pedicure I am horrible at names but I love her she digs in and leaves my feet feeling clean and without any ingrown nails. I have since moved but I still go here because I like how she does the Pedicure. For manicure or full set I go elsewhere. I’m extremely picky and they just didn’t satisfy me. I have also done face and or eye brow wax here wasn’t happy. I rather go to ziba at the mall. If this was only for Pedicure I would give it 5 stars but 3 stars is what I feel is appropriate.

My daughter and I have been coming here for about 10 years. I think the ownership has changed during that time. The thing that has not changed is they do a great job on our nails. There is always at least one manicurist there that recognizes us with a smile and warm greeting. I did have the cuticle on my big toe cut here once. The manicurist put something on it and sent me on my way. I made sure to soak it in hydrogen peroxide and vinegar for a week to make sure it did not get infected. Other than that no problems here at all.

I love getting my nails done here. It’s convenient and the ladies that work there are really nice. They don’t only just do your nails they actually keep you entertained and converse with you. They make you feel really comfortable. I like it because it’s quiet enough and relaxing. And there’s a tv so that keeps me entertained too. Prices are just right and service is perfect.

The manicurists are really nice and are always trying to accommodate you! They do a great job. I’m always happy when I leave. There are two large screen tvs to watch while you are getting your nails done. The prices are fair and you get deals if you get more than one thing done! It’s a cozy place and it seems like a lot of costumers have been going there for years.
I have gotten everything done here: wax, acrylics, manicures, and pedicures. All in all, they always do a great job and pay close attention to detail.

I would have given them a 4 or 5 star review based on past experiences (they do excellent nail art and are super friendly), but I just went there for a gel manicure and it was kind of a let down.
I had a gel manicure done is San Francisco and it lasted me a little over two weeks before it started lifting. I had one done at One Hour Nails on June 3^rd, and it started peeling off June 8^th or 9^th! The gel manicure is supposed to last 3 weeks, and I know that’s a little far fetched, but 5 – 6 days? REALLY?
I don’t know if they didn’t clean up my cuticles enough or just don’t have the gel manicure technique down yet… either way, they need to step it up, because you can’t tell customers that a service will last 3 weeks and then only have it hold up for a third of that time. Probably won’t go back there for a gel manicure.

This place has never been the same since it has changed ownership. Don’t bother making an appointment because they do not have enough people there to honor it. When i called the owner to complain, all she could say was sorry. She didn’t even offer to do anything to fix it. This was not the first time I had to go through this with them. I don’t understand how One Hour Nail assumes you have 3 hours to your day just for you to get your nails done. I am so over this place. In this economy I rather go to a Nail Salon that will value and appreciate my business. I know so many people who go to One Hour Nails. After telling them about my final and last experience there, they have promised me that they will never go back. Instead of going to this sorry excuse for a business go somewhere else and support the small businesses of America who will truly value your loyalty and appreciate you business
