Terrible bar. The somewhat new owner has absolutely no personality. She told me to leave the bar when I asked to play dice with the regulars. The drinks are pricey for a dive bar and very weak! The Karaōke girl will put you to the end of the night if you don’t give her a big tip or she plain doesn’t like you. This place is no CHEERS where everybody knows your name… it’s the complete opposite. One would think they were trying to lose customers.

Refer to Jason J’s review on 8÷12… Unfortunately I was there witnessing the whole credit card incident that night. As such, it is recommended that you check your bill and pay in cash if visiting. No one needs the extra trouble when it’s supposed to be a time to chill and relax. The servers, however, are nice and friendly.

The place sucks! First, they charge more than what they supposed to. Second, they lied to me about my Credit Card got decline, so I gave them another Credit Card! When I got home, I found out the credit card I provided was fine and they charged both of my cards! I called the owner and she didn’t do anything about it. I would rate this place 5 star for shady!

This place sucks! Smells like stale cigarettes and the service is terrible. Little Bo’s across the streets classed up dive bar is where I will be going from now on.

Came from New York to visit friends in the Pasadena area. Someone mentioned we should go to this place. What a nightmare! Bartender would not serve us, officially stating she did not know how to make any drinks, then she ran out of liquor, and worse, I got the impression since we were not Asian, that perhaps we were not welcome there altogether. Being from New York, I’ve been thrown out of better places than this! Save your time, and go somewhere else. The LA area has so many places to choose from to consider giving this place your business.

So I came here on New Year’s Eve with my family and a few friends. My brother and sister had previously came to this place and said it was a quite, chill spot where we could have some drinks, sing some karaōke and have a good time for the evening. The minute I walked into this place I felt out of place. This bar is located in a predominantly Asian neighborhood however and most of our group was Hispanic. I didn’t think that would be a problem however the looks we immediately got when I walked in made me feel uncomfortable. I went to the bar and asked the female bar tender to make 7 adiós mutherf^&*ers. All she would tell me was she couldn’t make that drink, that she didn’t have enough alcohol to make the drinks. I was puzzled by her comment because the bar was clearly stocked with plenty of alcohol. I then asked her if she could at least make 1 adiós drink. Again, all she kept saying to me was that she couldn’t make the drink, that she didn’t have the alcohol to make it because it was a very busy night. I asked this female bartender what she then recommended and she could not recommend a single drink for me. It became apparent at that point that our service was not wanted at this establishment. I have to say, I am very upset with my experience with this establishment. I can’t say what was on this bartender’s mind but I know and felt that I and my group were discriminated against. Not wanting to serve us because we were Hispanic is ridiculous and unacceptable. I never take the time to write reviews however I felt the need to make sure others knew about our experience. Please, do yourself a favor and to not go to this bar. There is another bar across the street called The Crest and you do not have to worry about the color of your skin or how you look when you go to this place.

I’ve been to this bar once before, pretty empty, cheesy decoration, small dive, had a good time. tried going last night for new years eve and had a dreadful experience. Not only did this bartender/owner serve me before, but did it with a smile. Last night when my group walked in, same woman told my brother that she«was too busy to make drinks for us.» As she stood there very obviously not busy. i don’t understand why exactly this happened, but we were ready paying customers and i honestly hope less people go here. The service is inconsistant, the bartender needs to be walked through how to make drinks(which makes zero sense), there’s definitely a racial stigma(we were mixed group, predominately hispanic), which was most upsetting. I want to make sure my entire party writes a equally honest review about the way people get treated at this establishment. And i honestly feel bad for people and businesses like this. Please do not go here. Go to the crest right up the street.

If I could give a negative star I would. Rudest girls work there. I’m not sure if it was a racial thing or what but we walked in and they asked us to leave. The girl even waited for me outside the restroom to tell me to leave before I even knew what was going on. We came in a group with lots of money to spend for new years. Never come here. Ever. Ever ever ever ever.

I’ve been here twice. I normally love little divey hole-in-the-walls. The first time i went, I had fun because of the spectacle of bad singers and awesome alike. The second time was the deal breaker. When i first came in i asked if they took credit cards and I was probably ordering two drinks. The bartender said of course. After the first round, our check was about 15 – 18 dollars. I hand her my card and she said its a 30 dollar minimum. Why didn’t u tell me about the minimum !!! I asked if she could charge 30 and take basically a 50 percent tip. She said of course, and she asked if i was going to tip on top of that … WTF? A tip on top of a 50 percent tip that you scammed me out of ?? Finally i just said make me a drink that will bring the total to 30 dollars. She made a cheap shot and I was charged 15 for it. I left a 3 or 4 dollar tip. Well done paradise isle. The gin and tonics are very light on the gin, heavy on the ice and tonic. What a bad way to treat customers. Btw: they smoke in here but only for their friends…

Divey little asian bar located in Temple City hidden between the bridal and tea shops. This little divey place was totally different than what I had expected. I had thought it might be one of those shifty girly bars(the plan was to walk out if it turned out to be on of those…) — but it turned out to be a pretty cool neighborhood karaōke bar. Average priced drinks, not too strong though. Cute bartender behind the bar that was very friendly. A mix of young and old here crooning Karaōke tunes. Even a couple of chinese renditions which was interesting but fun. Plenty of parking in the rear. Divey little interiors make this a fun place just to chill with a drink and soak up the karaōke starlets. Will go again just for the entertainment.

This place is a textbook dive bar. When I came here, the first thing I noticed was the super hot bartender working. She only works day shift, so when I come I make sure she’s working. She’s really nice and sweet. She had very good service and everyone there seemed to like her. The crowed is older than I’m used to, but very friendly. They also have good prices for happy hour $ 3 beers $ 4.50 well drinks that I believe ends at 7. They also have karoke at night, but I’ve never been. The only draw back is they do not serve food here, but I there are places to eat all around. I really like this bar, the people are friendly, it’s a nice spot to chill at and the day time bartender Elissa is pretty hot.

Alright, I have to write a review for this place. It is a super dive bar located in the heart of Temple City. yes you heard me right, Temple City. next to a bunch of Chinese wedding glamour shot joints and a Tea Station. The place has really nice ladies working there. All I know is that one of our friends mom(named Johnny) works here and she hooks it up. We were able to get a couple of bottles for a great price. 1L Goose and 1L Jameson for $ 100 each. The mixers come in a plethora of Pyrex looking pitchers and we were served unlimited carrot and celery sticks as well as 5 spice peanuts. If Chinese dice games are your thing, they have that too. The best part of this place? The karaōke. Yes, karaōke. It’s not Ktown style NRB where you can rock out to your own friends, but rather everyone gets to hear you sing. My suggestion, throw down a few shots of liquor, grab a handful of 5 spice peanuts and get your butt on stage and start singing. Best time ever at a random dive bar– and I will admit, the most drunk I have ever been on a Wednesday night post college. Outstanding.
