Charming Charlie – Temple

Brought my mother here because she’s the kind of lady that would like this sort of chintzy place. Not saying she has bad taste, but she loves to match costume-​type jewelry with the same colors as her clothes.
Being first timers, I was confident she would love being here. That is, until she seen the price. Most of the jewelry looked amateurish and adhered with a hot glue gun. Definitely not worth the marked-​up price for something that looks like it will fall apart after a few wears. On top of that, we felt bothered by one snotty, older-​looking employee and 3 others within a short time-​frame asking if we needed any assistance. Can we shop in peace, please? It’s as if they were keeping an eye on us. Have we mistaken this place for Tiffany & Co. Not to throw shade, but I was wearing something from LV (you know the deal)… does it look like I want to steal something from here? Bish please.
Feeling uncomfortable, we left just as soon whence we came.

This place is chock-​full of fashion and costume jewelry. Everything is sectioned off by color. They have all sorts of cheap watches, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, bangles, rings, etc; as well as, a few scarves and tops. They also had a few tiaras and jewelry boxes. They had a 2 scarves for $ 20 deal going on when I visited.
It would have been nice to see one non-​fashion jewelry case; sterling silver is all I’m asking for. It would have been extra nice to find a bangle box here (bonus if it was good for travel as well). Upon entering, this seemed like the kind of place to dedicate a whole section to jewelry storage, but their box collection was very limited. I ended up leaving the store empty handed.
My mom likes this store because they sell nice ID tag necklace holders for work.

Fantastic store! Everything is grouped by color & their prices are very reasonable. They sell jewelry, purses, clothing, hats, accessories, etc. I am a regular customer & have a hard time staying out of this place! Also, I’m not sure what the previous reviewer meant when she stated that her photo was removed and replaced. The photo that I see on Unilocal is the front of the Temple location. Not to mention, I’m more concerned about the interior of the store vs what the front of the building looks like. It is located in a shopping center, so all of the stores resemble each other on the outside.

This is a pretty cool accessory store here in Temple. I like how every section is color coded, all the brown accessories are over there while the greens are over here. The have all sorts of things, jewelry, shoes, hats, eyeglass holders, contact holders; all with some sort of pizzaz. They even have a little clearance section. Whet I don’t like is how the owners changed up my pictures posted on here. The picture I posted is of their front door, of how it looks here in Temple. They posted some entrance from who knows where, not here.
