I’ve been there twice and both time I got friendly smiling service. It is outdoor seating in my table was a little dirty. The sandwiches came on fresh-​baked bread and and tasted really good. If you’re in Temple Tim looking for a quick sandwich you might want to give this place a try.

Delicious deli sandwiches with quality ingredients. The family that owns it is super nice too, and are always delightful to talk to. My favorite is Sam’s special… wow! We always look forward to eating here.

Great service, outdoor seating only. No children’s menu. There is a television so you can watch a game. When we went they were out of ice tea and tuna. My husband liked the tri-​tip sandwich but I didn’t.

Now THIS is a deli! Super yummy sandwiches piled with meat and other goodies. Great selection of sandwiches. Tucked off the street, and behind a liquor store, this is a hidden gem. The patio is covered and boasts a large tv with sports on, patio heaters if necessary, and lots of seating. This is one of our now favorite delis on the entire central coast!

decided to take a much needed road trip and stumbled upon this little gem. SAMs is five star food located next to a liquor store and skate park. unpretentious home town vibe.
I picked up a tall boy of Buch and a shooter of Bacardi black from the liquor store and ordered a «Sammy’s special» the pastrami was so thinly sliced it melted into the ciabatta like an angels breath. artisan! I was fortunate to meet Sam himself. Real standup guy. Built the deli with his bare hands from the ground up.
I left content and ready to hit the open road but definitely coming back for more on my way home

Sammy uses nothing but the best meat and ciabatta bread for his sandwiches. The quality he offers is far beyond the very affordable price you pay. His wonderful and airy ciabatta bread and gourmet meats make my mouth water. If you eat his creations in his patio area he will approach you after a while and ask how everything is, showing care, concern and pride in his work AND for his customers. He keeps my belly full and a smile on my face every time I’m around Templeton.

Great place to grab a sandwich for a picnic at a winery. Sandwiches all come on delicious foccaica bread. You can get a creative sandwich (like turkey & pastrami) or your standard turkey.

Definitely want to give a shout out Sam’s. Good quality, little deli just off the main drag in the town of Templeton. Not easily visible from the street but worth the two minutes it’ll take to find it. Thanks to the staff at Wild Horse Winery who recommended it to us :)

Best kept secret with the best sandwiches on the Central Coast! Everything is on fresh baked Ciabatta bread with freshly grilled meats. Nice shaded patio area to relax. Great friendly service

This guy Sam makes the best sandwhiches you can get. i really like hush harbor in Atascadero but i think Sam’s has them beat. he has a very small shop behind A1 liquor. prices cannt be beat as nothing on the menu is over six dollars. uses good product on his sandwhiches and salads. Hope he sticks around for along time.
